Everyone knows roughly what a Kylo Ren is by this point right? Angsty heir apparent to the Skywalker legacy who'd much rather be cool and evil like his grampa Vader, despite the fact he's not actually all that great at casual sadism (not that it stops him from trying). I have taken him from between the end of The Last Jedi and before the start of The Rise of Skywalker for maximum antagonism with Rey should she appear.
CR YOU WANT:
I'll happily receive any and all CR of course but my heart beats fastest for fractious frenemies! I love forced/unexpected/unwelcome team-ups, and honestly if anyone feels like giving me the lost in the wilderness/behind enemy lines with the person I like least CR of my dreams I will be thrilled beyond measure. If you like negative CR and want a nice slow burn rivalry type mutual loathing hit me up, IC conflict is my lifeblood...

I can't think of much I actively don't want, and even the tropes and setups I don't tend to go for can be lots of fun with the right set-up! I do struggle with small-talky type threads, but otherwise? Please just throw it at me.
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
I tend to look at this on a character-by-character basis! There's almost always some neat overlaps and contrasts for us to play with, and the kind of plots/threads/themes that'll be most fun for me are the ones that let us explore those. That said! As mentioned above I do love me some forced-to-cooperate type threads, really enjoy writing teaching/training/sparring/fighting as well as long, drawn out rivalries and the occasional grudging respect earned through unexpected good deeds.
And of course if you fancy a little mind-probing or force-choking, it can be arranged...

Joke's on them because he's already dying from a curse and he needs a fuckton of magic to cure him. CR YOU WANT: This shithead is already on a corruption arc but I welcome any bad guys sniffing around him. Conversely, he relishes the rare occasion he can help someone instead of hurting them, and if there's a problem his dreams can solve, he'd be up for it. He's recruited Kylo Ren as a sort of bodyguard (because his body is paralyzed and vulnerable whenever he uses his power) and he also shares a room with Nadine Cross and Lloyd Henreid, if you're looking for an excuse to meet him through one of them.

Without his usual support system here, it'll be easier for Yuri to slip towards the more chaotic end of his usual chaotic good deal, especially if he thinks anyone in power is causing serious suffering for those under him. CR with characters who will either temper or encourage that would be amazing! Longterm, I really want him to get attached to the world and the people in it. Without his usual support system here, it'll be easier for Yuri to slip towards the more chaotic end of his usual chaotic good deal, especially if he thinks anyone in power is causing serious suffering for those under him. CR with characters who will either temper or encourage that would be amazing! Longterm, I really want him to get attached to the world and the people in it. Yuri's the type of dude who feels he should be the one to do the necessary things no one else wants to, whether because they're morally dubious or just suck to experience, so that's something that might be fun to play with, too.

Only, now the war is over, and actually, dragons are great, he has decided. He's basically an honorary dragon himself at this point, bearing the emotions and memories of the dead dragon he used to fight tooth and nail against. In Abraxas, this is starting to become more literal, as he's gained the ability to turn into a dragon from the Singularity.
He has a lot of survivor's guilt from the war he was in, and while he is rough and brashly honest, he has a soft spot for people with hopeful hearts and those that need protecting. He considers himself a realist, but is inspired by those that seek to change the world for the better. Right now he's in a fairly depressive space as he's pretty sure he is going to be executed in the near future and feels powerless to stop it.
CR YOU WANT: People to take a shining too that he can fight for, young people he can try to take under his wing, allies to fight against Thorne with, and negative CR with people that may end up in opposing factions (Estinien is probably going to start out in Solvunn.) Estinien is very aggressive about pursuing 'justice' against people, so I'd love to get some CR with people who would find trading blows that way fun. I'm also open to potential romantic/casual relationship types because Estinien has not bothered trying to explore that for years and him trying would be very funny. Naturally, something like that is more based on how chemistry turns out in threads and can't really be preplanned, I just wanted to register that I'm open to it.

She a laid back person who goes with the flow even in some of the most dire situations, rather than plan likes to jump into things head first and see what happens, and generally is keen to be helpful to anyone around her. She sees big cosmic moving quests as important as catching the lost chickens for a local farmer. She can be easily distracted by this things but eagerly wants to explore the world. I like to say she's chaotic good, heavy on the chaotic side and tends to be very blunt despite how overtly friendly she can be. A powerful mage if her abilities weren't locked. Fishing and dragon enthusiast. "I'm a healer, but" meme.
Right now she's at a low with their failed escape attempt and now their cellmate has gone missing. So while she tends to be a optimist or at least keeping up a more friendly disposition, it's gotten harder to do these last few weeks.

Right now she's at a low with their failed escape attempt and now their cellmate has gone missing. So while she tends to be a optimist or at least keeping up a more friendly disposition, it's gotten harder to do these last few weeks.

Nero is an elf. The elves of Drakengard are xenophobic pacifists that think that humans and their little problems of like, I dunno, avoiding complete annihilation is beneath their concern. Nero is different from his brethren in the sense that he is much more proactive in annihilating the world. If the world's gonna go, he wants to be the one to do it! This got him exiled from his clan...
He's foul-mouthed but really only around people that he's 1. comfortable with or 2. really gotten on his bad side. Other than that, for a psychopathic elf, he's really easy to get along with. He follows after the people that are most likely to bring destruction to the world, and helps them with anything that they want to do -- being the best soldier that no one wanted to buy.
He's got some dumb magic, but being exiled from the elves, he has a lot of restrictions on using it. Meaning if he uses it, his body decides to try to break itself. But it's for the best... it's really for the best...

- People that he'd be willing to follow; the criteria is pretty simple. It's those that have high morals and those that have willinginess to do the right thing even if it means killing a lot of people to do that right thing. :) It's morally upright individuals that he wants to hang around with and offer all of his services to assist.
- Prisoners. Hey, this loser is hanging out in the dungeons because he's just curious about what's up with everyone. He wonders how everyone's breaking point is and willing to smuggle them as much as he can. (And who knows, he probably will end up in the dungeon too if all things go wrong/right.)
- Fellow supernatural entities? He has a pretty good knowledge of these things being, at least, over one-hundred years old. (Looking pretty fly for an old guy.) While he may not always be the most courteous and friendly, he will at least be wondering what their take is on everything, as well.
- Enemies? Nero generally is a live and let live kind of elf; he generally wants people to destroy themselves than have much of a hand in helping them destroy themselves. He doesn't "good people" being corrupted or manipulated and might actually get quite mad about seeing it.
- Corruption. While Nero is very live and let live, his very presence can slowly corrupt a person just because like ... he's easy to get along with (despite his foul mouth and love of murder) and slowly screws up a person's sense of morality and goodness over time. Which is hilarious given how much he hates people being corrupted...

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Emet-Selch is a major antagonist in the most recent expansion (Shadowbringers) for FFXIV. If you would prefer to avoid spoilers, let me know here or on his info post.
With that out of the way... Emet-Selch is basically That One Asshole, but like. Annoyingly persistent about it. The kind of person who is capable of helping (and can sometimes even be convinced into it) but generally prefers to be cryptic, various shades of condescending and over-the-top dramatic like his life depends on it.
He is also an ancient sorcerer of more than significant power/skill and has the ability to see people's souls, for which he has a permissions/info post right over here.
CR YOU WANT: Anything. Emet has literally just gotten here, and while he does have a couple of castmates in game already, he's going to want to poke his nose into All The Things.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: I can't think of anything I actively don't want, though some things are going to be wrangle with him (mostly romance-flavored thing). I'm still down to try in most of those cases, but it's going to be a major uphill battle
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Does "everything" count? But on a more serious note: people who'd be willing to be gently lurked at by an overdramatic asshole and/or make some flavor of alliance/friendship/what have you. He'll also be on the long out for potential pawns, because that's what he does.

Geralt comes from a world where everyone's moral compass, including his own, kind of only vaguely points north at best, so there's potential for Emet to get away certain things before he crosses a line in Geralt's eyes. buuuut at the same time he has very little patience or care for shady sorcerer types for largely personal reasons. so they might be interesting together?
