Is it possible to get a little more information on Mechapolis? I am working it into Viktor's backstory for obvious reasons but don't want to overstep or assume any worldbuildng--are the clockwork automatons sentient to any degree? If yes, what is their relationship to the gods/Summoned?

Is Mechapolis generally run/overseen by the Free Cities government or are they sort of their own thing? What kind of work or research is performed there?
