EVENT 18: EMERGENCE - OOC POST

Event #18 - OOC Plotting
On April 6, the storms evolved into an uncontrollable tempest. Lightning strikes with powerful rain and wind. Floods begin to swallow crops, homes, animals, and people alike. With portals disrupted and tightly guarded borders breached by a power no one can stop, authorities in all three territories turn towards their only solution: the Summoned. They believe that the Summoned can reach out to the source of their unique powers and stop the turbulence by approaching the heart of the Singularity.

Characters do not have a choice. They'll be asked to cooperate for the sake of the world and the safety of the natives, but refusal is not an option. The threat is great, and the territories are willing to do whatever it takes to protect their citizens and land from the Singularity's unstable behavior.

Please note when finalizing your character's AU details that character-based lore and actions, if widespread, should be generic enough to apply to multiple Gods or causes (i.e. there can many reasons for a storm). Specific lore aspects (i.e. your character is believed to be responsible for the setting sun) must be contained to individual villages or cults. Additionally, beliefs that center your character in people's minds based on a common event or natural phenomenon (shooting stars, earthquakes, illness) cannot be stated as universal.

In short, try to keep your character's impact on the world from affecting things for everyone on a broad and unignorable scale. On an OOC level, this is to avoid conflict with other player plots or written histories. If you're not sure, just ask!

Gateway
By APRIL 18, authorities have made a decision. They order the Summoned to be rounded up and taken to the Singularity's crater.
Territory Response
Thorne and the Free Cities will try to secure cooperation by appealing to the Summoned's tendency to want to help the common folk or each other. What about the miners they fought so hard to protect? The fishermen in Nott? Aren't these people's lives important? Guards won't go out of their way to harm resistant characters or mistreat them, but they have orders to follow. Resistors will be placed in special locked carriages and may be restrained as necessary.

Solvunn will appeal to the Summoned's sense of community. Unlike Thorne and the Free Cities, their coercion is more subtle: the entirety of the commune, including neighbors, the elderly, and children will beg them to go, making it exceptionally difficult to refuse. If your character would still say no, please ask us about your character's specific circumstances in that case.
At the Crater
Once at the site of the Singularity, the Summoned will be forced towards the crater. Instead of being drawn into the Horizon, they'll be pulled into an emergent future reality.

A thick fog will descend around the crater throughout the event period. Characters can only vaguely glimpse other Summoned nearby. The natives will be none the wiser. Depending on how long your character has interacted with the Horizon and the magic of Abraxas, their experience entering the crater may differ:
◎ Characters who are new or who do not engage with the Horizon and/or magic will be sucked into the reality immediately.

◎ Characters who have been in Abraxas for 1+ year and who have engaged regularly with the Horizon and/or Abraxan magic (using their gains or actively learning magic) will be able to walk partway into the Singularity's crater before they're sucked in.

◎ Characters who have actively engaged with the Singularity outside of the Dimming (i.e. not during periods of dormancy) at least one time, and who received a unique response will be able to walk up to the Singularity. They will be compelled to approach it and touch it, whether they want to or not.

Mechanics
The event is based on the following mechanics:
◎ A gradual realization that characters do not belong in the emergent reality, spurred by one or more important catalysts.
◎ Uncovering the meaning of the Summoned's connection to the Singularity and Abraxas.
◎ Interacting with elements of the reality that are normally difficult to access, including the Singularity itself.
The IC Event Log will have prompts to guide you, but players are encouraged to thread any scenarios they come up with. The emphasis will be on self-discovery, lore, and CR development.
Passage of Time
The emergent reality is 800 years in the future. It will play out according to this timeline:
3 weeks will pass in the standard reality (real world).
3 months will pass in the emergent reality (future AU).
The IC Event Log will be divided into two sections. In the first half, characters are fully submerged in the emergent reality. They will not realize they're from the past. In the second half, characters will begin to reawaken. See Reawakening for more details.

Guidelines about how to approach your character's AU history, abilities, lifted restrictions, and an outline of the new setting are on the ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION post. Be sure to review those details or submit for your assignment if you haven't received one. Characters must have an assignment to participate.

Descriptions of Abraxas' altered setting can be found HERE.

You can reference the information as needed or ask us for additional details at any point. Because of the dreamlike nature of this AU, don't feel like you have to get every detail down. Potential inconsistencies can be explained away via imperfect recollections.
Memories
While inside the emergent reality, characters will suffer some memory loss. The severity is entirely up to you. Memories may be blurry or entirely gone. They can encompass game memories, canon memories, or a combination. The loss might contribute to a major shift in personality or it might reinforce your character's current beliefs.

Players are welcome to choose whether they want to lean into any corruption aspects or retain their character's core morals. The Singularity, the Gods, and the environment will not play a role here. Rather, any changes to a character's arc, for better or worse, will depend on their disposition, relationships, and personal choices.
◎ Memory loss can be patchwork. It does not need to be linear. For instance, a character can recall all their canon memories but forget all of their memories related to important CR who have dropped.

◎ Memories can be replaced by versions that have twisted over time. For example, a character might recall an act of betrayal where there was none.
There's no "right" way to approach how memories work. You can stick to one of the options above or combine them. The main point is that characters must lose a bit of something important to time since regaining those memories is a central feature of the event.
Actions and Consequences
How the Summoned interact with the setting and the Singularity will impact both themselves and the world. Balance is the most important aspect characters will discover. Actions can have consequences, and the existing Gods will step in to prevent any new Gods from threatening this delicate ecosystem if their actions cause too much distress among the mortals.
◎ Summoned who IGNORE their abilities and/or the Horizon will find their tether to Abraxas weakening. They may regularly blank out or become confused about where they are. They will begin to bleed magic built up from disuse and corrupt the land or people around them by unleashing more magic than the earth can sustain. This can exacerbate an unsettling condition in the Witchwood, where the demigods roam.

◎ Summoned who ABUSE their abilities and status as Gods, and/or do not interact meaningfully with the world outside the Horizon will begin to lose more of themselves. They may forget additional memories or struggle to distinguish what's real. They will begin to absorb magic from overuse and corrupt the land or people around them by soaking up life-sustaining magic. This can exacerbate an unsettling condition in the Witchwood, where the demigods roam.
The above is not to dissuade you from leaning towards an extreme. You're encouraged to use this mechanic to explore your characters further. However, characters will have to confront the damage they're doing to themselves and the world, and should be aware they might cause conflict with other Summoned, Gods, or even mortals who may turn to other Gods instead.
Event Interactions
We'll expand on the interactive options on the IC Event Log. Below is a general overview:
ECHOES: A form of "prayer" heard through their connection with the Singularity. Characters do not need to directly touch or approach the Singularity, though they can if they want. They will each be able to "hear" the relic through the same tether-like feeling that links them to the Horizon and access the voices beseeching them from anywhere.

DEMIGODS SPAWNS: Demigod spawns are monstrous beasts that form when the Singularity or the Gods are out of balance. Players can make up their own demigods to add to the "population" in the Witchwoods. Demigods can be a challenge to fight even with their new godlike status. Characters cannot kill their own demigod spawns. They must get help from another Summoned to destroy it for good.

OLDER GODS: The Gods that came before the Summoned exist. Players may request an interaction with a God. The mods will then select one to enter the thread. Interactions will not be long, but the Gods will answer characters as equals.

HORIZON: As described on the Assignment post, characters will feel a powerful connection to the Horizon, which they can now enter effortlessly without having to meditate first. They'll consider it their "true home" and may expand their domain to be as complex as they want. A domain might contain surrealistic elements similar to what the Summoned previously glimpsed. Entering the Horizon will no longer leave behind their corporeal body. If they're in the Horizon, their physical form will not be outside it.

AMONG MORTALS: While in their true God forms, characters will default to being unseen. They must actively choose to become visible to mortal eyes. Additionally, they cannot be seen by mortals, even when they choose to, unless the mortal is seeking them. This only applies to full God forms. They can appear to all mortals when taking on a modified and scaled-down form. As an example, a character can walk into a tavern and mingle as a human-sized God with a couple of extra wings or a pair of horns. However, if they arrive as a 30-foot God, they will not appear to anyone except the individual who is praying to them. Typically, though, Gods will pick an alternate form to communicate with mortals such as a symbolic animal or through visions.

Reawakening
The first half of the event will allow players to explore their characters while fully absorbed in the emergent reality. The second half, however, will result in a reawakening, brought on by several catalyst incidents that slowly bring their faded memories back - and, ultimately, their true consciousness.

Multiple catalysts and/or catalyst incidents are possible and encouraged. Come up with as many scenarios as you want!

Catalysts
A catalyst can be any encounter or experience that holds significance to your character and reminds them of one or more of their faded memories. They may have this interaction themselves or witness it. For example, they might rescue another player character that reminds them of a time when they were once rescued. Or, they may observe some children and recall a childhood friend.

Catalysts can occur organically, by engaging with the setting and stumbling over the catalyst themselves. Or, they can occur through other characters who are experiencing their own reawakening and may be seeking answers and/or are attempting to awaken others.

With each catalyst, a character regains another small piece of themselves, which might cause these effects:
◎ Temporal cracks will form in the emergent reality. Areas on the map that don't normally exist will flicker out of focus or they'll briefly "see" their normal form reflected instead of their god form.

◎ If a character doubts the reality of their godlike abilities, those abilities might become difficult to control.

◎ A character's Horizon domain might start to revert back to its original design
How your character reacts to the revelation and its effects is also your decision. They might resist their reawakening and require others to intervene. Or, they might embrace it and take on the goal of reawakening others.
Returning to the World
Characters will return to the real world once enough of the Summoned have experienced their "reawakening." To keep things simple, the exact percentage will be vague.

The main indication of reality changing is that the sky will begin to show cracks. As more and more of the Summoned reawaken, the cracks will spread and lightning from the real world will begin to appear. Characters may even glimpse the Singularity reflected upside-down in the sky above. Eventually, the entire illusion will crumble, bringing everyone back to the real world.

Unawakened characters can observe the cracks or they can be oblivious. You can decide based on whether you want your character to be distressed (or convinced) by the crumbling reality or if you want them to remain blissfully unaware and/or refuse to acknowledge the truth.


Notes
Event Organization
We'll provide two sections in the comments of the IC Event Log:
WORLD BUILDING: You can submit world-building aspects such as a shrine dedicated to your character, a new monster or demigod, or similar. There's no approval process - this will just be for other players to reference the details. If you want to submit something but are unsure if it might break the event, ask us first.

HANDWAVED DETAILS: If you're open to handwaving certain details, you can comment with your character's name, and other players can reply with aspects they would like to handwave with your character. Since the emergent reality spans 3 months, we recommend handwaving smaller details and focusing on key incidents to thread out.
Event Schedule
To allow room for players to get things started, the event post will be going up before the actual in-game date the event occurs.
The IN-GAME EVENT will ICly take place APRIL 18 - MAY 10.
The EVENT POST will go up APRIL 17 for players to participate in.
The WRAP-UP POST will be rolled in with the INTERLUDE on MAY 12.
Ability & Transformation Gain
Characters will receive an ability gain for their participation. For this event, you can choose a stronger gain than typical, though please keep things reasonable. While this gain can be anything, we strongly encourage you to consider a gain that suits characters' experiences throughout the event. See Reward Gains to learn more.

Additionally, you may retain one small physical transformation from your character's altered form on top of the gain above. Retained traits should be minor and may not grant extra powers (i.e. eye color changes can't have sight enhancements). Reasonably minor traits include claws, small horns, scaly patches or scars, or similar. Wings or mermaid tails are too large. Retained traits are visually and physically permanent (as opposed to physical changes that only occur when an ability is active or upon command.)

To request your gain, submit it as usual on the upcoming Activity Check form.

You can use the plotting form below to make plans. Don't feel like you can't change your mind afterward regarding appearances, catalysts, and other elements. Feel free to use this space to brainstorm.

I want mortals to fear my character during certain periods or seasons. Is this possible?
This is possible only if contained to individual sects or villages or the time between visitation is on a vast scale. For instance, a character may represent a "plague" that visits a different village every 50-100 years. However, a character associated with visiting different towns several times a year to curse a handful of people with delusions or disease would result in the older Gods stopping them.
What about territories and borders? Are characters restricted from going home or anything else?
Details about your character's general abilities, lifted travel restrictions, Abraxas's environmental and cultural landscape, and other important setting information are available HERE on the Assignment Information post.
What if I want to play out only threads from the second half (the reawakening) but not before?
You may do this! The purpose of the two halves is so that players who want to explore their character's immersion during the first half can do so without being disrupted by other characters telling them immediately that the reality is fake.
Will there be consequences after the event for characters who resisted?
No, unless your character will behave especially violently upon return or waking up. Please discuss with us if this will be the case.
What are the demigods exactly? Can we make our own?
Demigods are simply stronger and larger monsters that roam the Witchwood. They do not have any sentience and cannot be controlled by anyone, including the Gods. You're welcome to make up your own! They can be anything, and may even be based on canon creatures that you've incorporated as part of your character's assignment. Please limit your creations to one or two per character, just so there aren't too many running around.
How do relationships as a God work? What about offspring?
Relationships with other Summoned and with mortals are possible. Please ask first for relationships with a specific Old God or Cardinal God. There are rumors that descendants of Gods exist, but these are very rare and unconfirmed. You can include those rumors in your backstory if you like! However, in terms of creating visible offspring as NPCs to interact with during the event, we recommend avoiding it due to how infrequently it happens and for the sake of simplicity. Additionally, please refrain from creating children that occur pre-God ascension.
I'm not sure how to make up my character's AU history. Are we allowed to skip that entirely?
Yes, if you would prefer to skip over that entirely, you can just have any memories before the event's formal start date be a blur or inconsistent.
Will characters remember every detail when they wake up?
They will recall the 3-month event period at minimum and may remember the entire 800 years if you like. While some details can be fuzzy or faded, especially events that took place before the 3-month event period, characters will overall remember new relationships formed (or broken), things that were said and done, and feelings or thoughts they had while not entirely themselves.
Can my character hide or evade authorities?
No, all characters will be found and rounded up, no matter where they've gone. However, if you're unable to participate, your character will spend the duration of the event unconscious and will wake up with no memory of the emergent reality.
Is making a new Horizon domain required?
Not at all! IC, characters are drawn to the Horizon and will likely feel compelled to enter it at least semi-regularly. OOC, incorporating the Horizon into threads during the event is optional.
What will happen to my character's physical body while it's in the real world?
Characters will be "unconscious" while in the real world. The fog will remain over the crater around the Singularity. During this period, characters won't experience hunger, thirst, or other physical changes (including hair growth). They'll wake up feeling and looking exactly the same as they did when they arrived there 3 weeks ago.
Can I link a retained trait to the ability gain?
Yes! If you would like to have claws as your permanently retained trait and request an ability gain of corrosive secretions, that's acceptable.
What defines "regular engagement" with the Horizon and Abraxan magic?
In the Horizon, this includes occasionally altering a domain, creating or keeping sustained life such as animals or pets, and having a domain inhabited by other Summoned or receives visitors. Regarding Abraxan magic, this includes learning new spells or using their Horizon/Event gains. It does not include using canon abilities they arrived with. Generally speaking, if your character has been active in the game and participating in the setting, then they've likely been engaging regularly.

What would happen if someone were to resist with violent force? I was thinking maybe Jesper tries to fight at first and needs to be restrained, and possibly hurts some NPC guards before. Nothing lethal. If the result is jail time post-event I am all for it, just trying to figure out if that is possible, for him to make a scene as he is prone to doing.

Character Name: Istredd
Assignment: Herald of Forbidden Knowledge

AU Information: His AU info but I'll describe it here too. 

Istredd has two major god forms. This is a primary one when he's masking his face on possible, where he has white wings and his skin appears to be a constellation of colors. This is based on Istredd's Feywilds Masquerade last year and his skin will appear as glowing lights or the night sky with visible stars. In his god form with friends or other gods, he appears without his helmet and his hair is now white to match the angel wings. His eyes are a glowing blue. Occasionally people will find him looking similar to his original self when he's in the library stacking books because he found the wings got in his way, but it's rare.

His abilities are similar to the ones he had as a human just magnified, like illusions, telekinesis, and shields. You can see them defined on his info page. His major god one is the ability to 'illuminate' information for his followers, where he can draw them to the material they're looking for by glowing up a path there or flipping to pages. He can do this for other gods too if they're confused and looking for something in particular. 

I put history below for a fuller picture.

Catalysts: He has forgotten all about his life in his canon, including the Brotherhood and his time there. He does not entirely remember early days of time in Abraxas either, outside of recalling that he is petty and dislikes Thorne, and that his library has simply grown since then. He remembers knowing all of his friends, it's the how they met that has faded away. 

Catalysts may be reminders of his past with the Brotherhood, whether that's as a mage in training, something going down in flames and fire and a betrayal that vast, or even unexpected energy eels. He may get confused thinking about why he despises Thorne so much or even more casually remembering early days with his friends, and theories he had in the start.

Reawakening: Istredd will NOT want to wake up. He will be resistant to it and probably try to deny anything leading him there. I'm not sure he will in fact wake up at all, he may be a hold out in the end. He has everything he wanted in this future and he is happy, he doesn't like the idea of going backward. If people want to try and force him into it, by all means.

Behavior: Istredd is fairly similar to how he was before, although he is no long insecure or self-conscious. He's comfortable now with people and while still an introvert, he's not stressed out by big groups. He is content in his giant library and flying with the dragons. He lives in the Nether with Lucifer and otherwise is in the Godlands with his giant library of infinite information. Please feel free to give your character their own room within his library, it will be filled with everything they are interested in, and they can sleep there if you want them to have a home away from home situation.

Istredd does answer echoes although he doesn't always pay close attention to what he's being asked, because he thinks knowledge is great and he likes to share it. He is in perfect balance and will be creating no demigods. What he does have to learn is to pay more attention to prayers in terms of details because he keeps almost making insane weapons or even potential minor wars breaking out with knowledge they shouldn't have. Whoops.

Wanted History & CR: Istredd has mostly spent all this time learning every bit of information he can and storing it in his library. He only remembers the past few hundred years in great detail, but it's of him and his lovers, family, and friends so he's feeling good about it all. He has a cult that he is completely unaware of as a cult. He blesses them frequently since they're a group of scholars like him, and luckily they never do anything wrong with his info. They're a nice little cult of nerds and he likes them a lot. 

Please feel free to ask for deeper CR! Istredd is a nerd and would be happy to connect with others, and like I said above, his library would extend to anyone who wants a place for their characters. He is generally a content person. Fellow flying people would be fun, he flies with the dragons. Anyone else in the Nether would be great.

Assignment: Guardian of the Shroud

AU Information: Event Infosheet!
With no known followers or religious sites, little is known about the Guardian of the Shroud. Yasi'halaun is said to wander unseen and unheard across the land, a boogeyman for children in some villages. In other territories, he's said to come to the aid of those at a crossroads concerning their faith to offer guidance and strength. Older stories say he is a devil in disguise, ostracized from the other gods for some betrayal, and that his black blades are fashioned from the bones of slain kin. In parts of the Velan Republic and as far as the Lunae Settlement there's a popular tavern song that details how he once slayed one thousand birds in a single stroke of his sword.

TDLR Kyle is going by Yasi'halaun these days, creeping around in a skull mask and shadowy cloak, along with a black long sword he DEFINITELY made out of some creature's bone.

Most importantly (maybe) Kyle believes his ex-lover is connected to the Singularity to the point that he is fiercely defending it and considers himself a guardian of it.

Catalysts: Kyle is in an interesting position because this is the SECOND time he's lost his memories (first happens in canon). He technically has two sets of memories, having pre-Abraxas absorbed the life of his alternate timeline self. It's detailed more in on his info sheet in the history - for the event, I'm going to have his pre-Abraxan memories fade and merge to a point where he believes he was his alt-self.

For his catalysts, I'd like something to do with either his sister Rousma (who some here have seen in the form of a labrador or skeleton child in his domain) and/or his memory of his time in the rented house with John. AS USUAL HE HAS LOTS OF CONTENT WARNINGS IN HIS HISTORY please read this if you haven't yet!

Reawakening: Kyle will be slightly resistant because it will be upsetting to realize he has lost his own memories in favor of his alt-self's (who had a nicer, if shorter life). But otherwise, not really. He can be helpful to others because of this.

Behavior: His personality will not change all too much! He's more aloof and tends to vanish quicker than usual because nothing is stopping him anymore from blipblooping out of space. But generally the same.

Wanted History & CR: Still looking to fill in some things in his past, including:

CULTISTS AND QUESTIONS OF FAITH: Because of his past life, Kyle will be drawn to those who are trapped in bad situations of a religious nature. If your character is messing around with creating little cults, he might use his Affliction of Doubt to make them question their faith and leave. In the earlier history, he may intervene more directly, so fighting is an option too!

I DID SAY FIGHTS: idk, wanna fight? I'm down for longstanding grudges and disagreements about who actually won said fight. Just need a legit reason for them to come into conflict! Besides being a bad faith leader, Kyle will also clash with those gods who still wanna threaten the Singularity.

WHAT ABOUT THORNE? I would like to vaguely incorporate him into the Thornean schism, unsure how yet!

Other plans: Besides Horizon, he's gonna be puttering around the Godlands, sometimes Thorne and the Velan Republic. But at some point in time he will have traveled everywhere possible.

AU Information:
HERE is a WIP for Jill, but in bullet points for the stuff that hasn't been added:
  • the moment that it is revealed that the summoned can physically be in the horizon she will attempt to destroy the singularty, fighting kyle with cassian before being interrupted by clive
  • forgets clive for a handful of years while he's out having a crisis about forgetting joshua and forgets her as well, they are reunited and act as if nothing has changed between them (because for them nothing has)
  • rebuilds her friendship with istredd after her attempt on the singularity
  • works with ciri on a regular basis to protect the vulnerable, including sinking a ship full of kidnapping victims who all mysteriously appear safe on shore while everyone else on the ship drowns, wow what happened there
  • when her husband brings home an egg containing a young dan heng, she and clive are quick to adopt and raise the young god, considering him their son in all ways


  • Catalysts: She will be forgetting her pre-Abraxas memories, and the memories she has pre-ascension into godhood are fuzzy at best. But, because some part of her doesn't want this, it should be relatively easy to start her doubting herself if someone wants to implant that seed!

    Reawakening: Jill will eagerly embrace her reawakening and attempt to do the same to others, starting with those close to her and others she's come to care about during her time in Abraxas/the AU

    Behavior: For the most part Jill will remain akin to her usual self, though with a marked difference in that she is embracing the Singularity and her natural ice powers. Because Jill will vehemently reject allowing herself to become like a god once she comes back to herself, I'm interested in forming connections with people who would enjoy it/have a more favorable view of the divine. Otherwise Jill is a relatively chill (get it) god who is known to directly take action on behalf of those who petition her, sometimes killing on their behalf. If this is something your character would notice, I'm down for a confrontation about it!

    Wanted History & CR: ANYTHING, Jill herself is a reserved character so I'd love to use this chance to jumpstart CR with her and get her to open up post-event. But honestly anything in her AU history/CR is still open; she'd be particularly good in fights, but is also taking more of a reactive role to being a god than an active one -- so people to drag her into godly things would also be welcome. Otherwise she will happily show off her son to whoever comes to ask.

    Catalysts:
    Crane will retain his memories but feel disconnected from them. He shall emotionally detach from past events and old friends; places and people he recognises. He will know their names but feel he is observing his memories from the outside. This results in him becoming apathetic to others who remember him, people he now views as curiosities.

    Catalysts involve memories of profound introspection. Times when his worldview shattered and he was forced to change. He will react to how his mentor stabbed him in the back or when his grandmother enforced discipline. Crane will fondly reminisce about creating his mask: when he wore it for the first time and experienced a rush of freedom.

    His path for this event has involved feelings of disconnection. I would love to explore emotional memories with his CR, especially if people have begun learning about his past. Friends or enemies. Nuisances or curiosities. This is a good way for them to witness memories he would otherwise refuse to share.


    Reawakening:
    Crane will go with the flow. Being a god he is too apathetic to care but knows his work will continue. Being a human he is confident he will adapt and understands one must accept difficult circumstances. Both sides know learning is a constantly evolving process.


    Behavior:
    Anthropos is cold and indifferent, pragmatic with no moral centre; devoted only to testing humanity. His curious mind longs to understand how things happen. He manipulates gods and mankind and employs his vast knowledge to further his agenda and expand his influence.

    His curiosity is fueled by a need for stimulation. Finished with one subject, he researches the next, eagerly unravelling mysteries one after another. Fascination drives him to explore the mysteries his mortal form ignores: friendship, intimacy and romance. He is apathetic and his interest remains scientific. Partners will find him emotionless and calculating, unable or unwilling to express himself.

    This lack of empathy and compassion leads him to prioritise order and conformity over the welfare of his disciples. He is highly organised and efficient in directing their work - and completely willing to experiment on them. He rewards loyalty and service but quashes any form of resistance or dissent. Individuality is illusory: the product of stimuli and response. He is indifferent to prayer and ignores ritual sacrifice. He willingly answers invocations but shuns worship and views their interaction through the lens of transaction. But he permits their behaviour because it is human nature

    This is why he enforces a rigid and dehumanising routine on mortals brought to his realm, arguing order and routine is vital for their welfare.     MEMORIES

    Crane has powers related to memories and the conscious and unconscious mind. One involves turning people into what can only be described as the lifestream and returning them to the ocean that covers his realm. He is willing to use them on people who seek his help in exploring their memories. Or on people who take issue with his method of therapy. He can enable different characters to witness and explore each other’s memories.

    RELATIONSHIPS

    Gods who have a better connection to love and friendship than he does. Crane is a solitary recluse who needs to leave his realm and touch grass. Bother him because you care or be honest and admit it would be funny.

    MORAL CONFLICT

    Crane has no moral centre and as a diving being he shares his opinions and operates openly. His idea of consent is to steal people off the street after they have prayed for help and say they understood what would happen. He does not actively seek to do harm but his actions and motivations are both helpful and harmful. He does see his decisions are helpful and will argue otherwise with those who have an issue.

    AU Information: AU info!

    Long story short, he’s mainly still himself but he’s significantly more chaotic and his anxiety is just…gone aside from some minor abandonment issues because all of you losers are distancing yourselves??? He generally looks like himself (but with wings and claws) and can turn into a giant bat creature and also a cloud of bats.

    Catalysts:
    Eddie remembers pretty much all of his in-game life so any existing CR will be remembered. He’s retrained a great deal of his pre-Abraxas memories, but things have grown very foggy and patchy. He remembers Steve and Dustin (and Henry but he never actually met Henry in canon I just want to shoutout Henry) and the context under which he met the both of them in canon, but other names and faces from home have been lost, including his uncle, bandmates, and friends. I don’t actually know what catalysts might trigger these memories, BUT feeling fear again might be an interesting catalyst because it’s the one major thing he’s missing from his previous self.

    He’s also going to live in a constant state of trying to remember lyrics to certain songs because he cannot hang onto every song for 800 years. This is more annoying than anything. Eventually it’s going to be as simple as one of you saying a specific word and that will trigger that memory.

    Reawakening: Eddie is more himself than anything else and he’ll be cool with reawakening when he realizes what’s going on. He’ll probably aid to help others with their reawakening.

    Behavior: Eddie’s sense of self is basically a superpower so he’s basically the same! The only difference is that his anxiety levels have dropped to pretty much zero and his chaos meter has been cranked alllll the way up instead. Basically if he didn’t give a shit what people thought of him before, he really doesn’t care now. He’s a generally friendly and available god who answers echoes and appears in-person to help followers often—but he always insists they do some kind of innocuous task for him first, like playing a game with him, telling him a joke, doing some kin of ridiculous scavenger hunt.

    He generally sticks close to Solvunn out of nostalgia but travels wherever just because he can.

    Wanted History & CR:

    ★ Honestly I’m open to pretty much whatever if you have an idea? I’m happy to deepen existing CR but I would like some totally new CR and maybe to return to CR that was only vaguely established previously!

    Assignment: Guardian of the Reassembled

    AU Information: AU Page I'm still not entirely happy with it and working out some things! Abilities and God Names are forever something I'm like ??? about
    Whereas many of the ascended Summoned begin taking on more Eldrich or God-like form Nebula will kind of revert. This is intentional because if you don't know her character: Nebula was taken apart and put back together more times than you can count with prosthetic enhancements she never asked for as a form of abuse and torture. For Nebula who already considers her body not her own/made to be a weapon, becoming a god and her powers aligning with restoration/resetting points in time to heal it makes sense for her to be the her she could have been. Without Thanos's influence.

    Which is the point/character arc of this godly adventure for Nebula. Because of her failing electronic parts - namely her brain - she'd have forgotten some details around like the year 50-100 mark about her family. She won't remember Thanos or Gamora early on and she'll have the faint imprints of a childhood of Luphom. Most of her life is a blank space until becoming a sort of Avenger which is kind of ???? That means it defines her morality and she doesn't know why she became the way she does.

    This will allow for some drastic character development early on which is - namely - a softer version of herself. The fun thing about side MCU stuff! Is it very blatantly tells us that if left be Nebula would be a much gentler person who wants to look out for others and specifically trust them. She so desperately wants to trust and this Nebula will trust far more easily.

    While she doesn't remember the exactness, Nebula doesn't like abuse or control. Or those who would harm the weak [especially children]. She's always been much more likely to answer to to those who faced some kind of cruelty - natural disasters, loss of limb or home, etc. And it's why she's known in places that need to rebuild more than others.


    Catalysts:
    Since memory issues were kind-of-sort-of an issue Nebula is facing anyway - very angrily about - when she does eventually forget more she doesn't. She cares, but she's building herself up more. And as long as she remembers Rocket she thinks? She's fine not remembering other things? Since she's kind of forgotten when she looked like before but hasn't forgotten entirely, because you can't forget that pain especially as a God! She's gonna go why do I want to remember horrible stuff anyway are you sure it was real to begin with?

    She is who she is now, which is part of her resistance stuff oops.

    Catalyst wise there are a few ways to go about it: Seeing unasked for Augmentation (hi Viktor). Hopelessness, especially, like feeling they're imprisoned and can't escape? Since this Nebula is free and more at home with herself she'll feel inclined to help but not ? really know why? It could trigger something especially if the person feels they will never be able to live as their own person. This can appear in a few different ways and I'm willing to work with anything.

    There's also the chance of family/found family connections, because I think the reminder of Gamora being a trigger is also a good one! Since she is a [complicated] positive force.


    Reawakening:
    As mentioned above, since she'll be more at peace with herself and has accepted she's forgotten these things... It's taken 800 years, why is she going to want to go back? Especially since at this point her driving force - Knowhere and its children - are well behind her and she can help now.

    She will be resistant because Nebula is simply resistant to be so some days! But I am willing to work things out and with anything.


    Behavior:
    Since we've been told Nebula's character is a result of her abuse and specifically Karen has stated: "what do you do when the source of your trauma is gone?" "how do you show the personality that was stunted for survival"? It's kind of the angle we're going for her!

    If you've seen What if? Heist Nebula that's kind of a direction to go: A much more social, teasing, and friendly person. A lot more physical, and more of a romantic. More willing to be sassy as well as funny. Not as no-nonsense, but still willing to do the dirty work if needed.

    Morally, very much a person looking to do right by those who need it. As they kind of do: being willing to steal from the rich to give to the needy kind of thing.

    So for those who know her as a no-nonsense, nearly expressionless kind of person she's the opposite. She's much more willing to be herself and to trust others. There's definitely core traits that remain, that protective and sharp nature. She's still honest. While she doesn't live in anger when she does get angry it's still not something you want to deal with.

    Wanted History & CR:
    I think for my sanity kind of glossing over the 800 years is best but I am happy to make up events that involve other characters or things. Nanaue decides a birthday for her and gives her presents every year so it becomes a minor celebration in one town??? Sold, let's go. I'm interested in her having lost her temper One Time maybe at someone who was acting vengeful towards people and maybe oops to a small village?

    Something along those lines.

    Otherwise, since as a character, she's losing a lot of her history but her desire for things won't be lost... Because she values freedom [over herself] and family. She won't forget these are important to her which will make her more overprotective of the people she does care about???

    👾 Found family! She does have a few connections being worked on here, but as an aspect of renewal kind of... making your own family, your own purpose is probably some kind of attribute of hers. And really all anyone ever has to do is suggest they're family for her to groan and go along with it [ thanks Drax! ] even if she never openly admits it all the time. So ?? Siblings to look after? Children. Please one of the cutest things is that Gunn called Nebula on Mother's Day. It was cute.
    👾 ????? Romantic Relationships???? Considering how little good physical contact she had in life she is probably a little adverse to intimacy and it does probably take her a while to think she deserves love/romance in that way. Like a long while. But maybe after a couple hundred of years ??? Someone is able to warm their way in. Or multiple. She'll be a little more open as time goes on.

    Just accept that you'll have to accept a raccoon being just as/more important than you, sorry.

    But I do think some kind of long-term thing would be nice... Let her love and learn to love, ty.

    👾 People to look after??? So yeah Nebula is gonna be more open and honest but she is still slightly tsundere. She might get mad at your character and ignore them but if they're in trouble show up before disappearing [ looking at you Rocket]. Just because she dislikes something doesn't mean she's going to abandon someone, so I think learning more about this protective/a little too trusting nature can be interesting. Please know it's a thing that Nebula tries to help Gamora a lot during their childhood just for Gamora to... let her starve, throw her off cliffs, etc. So I think playing into that angle where even if they abuse her she'll still try and protect them is fun??? Somehow???


    Other plans:
    I don't have any strict plans! I do want to use this to increase CR. Playing with the angle of remembering most/all of it, I think it's good to jumpstart some things if people want! Especially with Nebula who is a very difficult character right now. She'll be more protective of characters and willing to engage in the setting/have fun/relax after the event with people she knows better through it.

    Because irregardless if it's a real reality or not it was real to them and these are her people now?

    I also want to use it to kind of unlock/unveil some of her issues to those who might want it: Like her body being augmented, how she came to be the way she is, what she could be. It'll be fun to get into the meat of it later because she'll especially be horrified and mad at being mad vulnerable despite not wanting to give it up.

    She's stupid.

    It's not about the Godhood it's about the feeling free, okay.

    AU Information: [Here] though it's still under construction!

    Catalysts: Koby won't have most of his canon memories in his god-form, but the catalyst will be the slow re-emergence of those memories triggered by him leaving the Horizon to visit the ocean. The memories will start then, but he'll try his damndest to ignore them, at first, and become steadily more volatile as a result.

    Reawakening: He's going to resist it at all costs -- the state he's in is one that is much more confident and comfortable in his own skin than Koby is used to, and he's not going to want to return. Definitely want to explore his powers and abilities slipping out of control as a result.

    Behavior: Koby is a smaller, benevolent, responsive god who genuinely finds delight in answering echoes and assisting any followers with their requests. His deepest dream has always been to help people, and being regularly called upon to assist with journeys and other endeavors means he spends most of his time in his Horizon or near the Singularity -- that's his primary focus. After 800 years, though, it's gone to an extreme where Koby rarely visits the physical world anymore -- hence the catalyst for his reawakening.

    Wanted History & CR: Everything! Koby's going to lean more friendly and positive and engaging with other Summoned, and as he's gained confidence, he's become much more comfortable with friendships (or more~). I'd love to explore mentor figures, friendships, maybe some antagonistic relationships -- Koby is still lawful good, and he gets deeply offended if someone is deliberately misleading the Abraxans. Also here for flirtations/lovers, since he's had about 8 centuries to get over his shyness. It'd take someone he's that close to asking to get him to leave the Horizon too, so down for that!!

    AU Information: information page is here! tl;dr Viktor has spent the last 800 years augmenting himself into a living metal robot guy. at some point he also started tampering with his own brain so that he could maximize his ability to work, and maybe freaked some people out/burned some bridges in the process. Currently dinking around advancing technology and stuff.

    He spends a lot of time in mechapolis because of course he does.

    Catalysts:
    Viktor will remember broad strokes of his own past and his time in game (so if we had CR prior to this he will remember your character), but has otherwise selectively excised many of his own pre-Abraxas memories. Would love to focus his catalysts around his CR, maybe with people who remember more of his past than he does. Much of his trajectory in this event is “how to lose friends and alienate people”, so character moments to start winning all of that back is something that will be very important to me!

    Reawakening:
    He has spent a very long time perfecting Himself and eliminating anything that he believes will interfere with his work—so to start, he won’t be taking any of this well. Much of the reason why he yeeted memories and tampered with his feelings is because he was deeply horrified by what was happening to the Summoned, and wanted to futureproof his ability to continue working on the ritual with the hope that he could get everyone Outta Here. Obviously, he failed! And when he starts to realize that it will be difficult for him to grapple with, and may need to lean on his CR a bit in order to cope.

    Behavior: man you thought he was a workaholic before

    Viktor is generally benevolent but emotionally detached from both humans and other summoned, having been disappointed too many times by the actions of individuals. his taciturn nature is a direct result of experiments on his own mind, i.e. the removal anything he perceives to be a distraction from his work—first various biological needs, then emotional regulation, and finally many of his memories. with a drive that has become obsession, Viktor continues to equate his self worth with the tangible technological progress that he can share with the world.

    Currently, he is a driving force of scientific innovation, pushing interesting advancements in the fight direction. So he’s still (thankfully) open to collaboration with like-minded individuals! He probably likes it when people visit him. He does NOT like it when people use science for Bad.

    That said, has also invented a magi-surgical process to AUGMENT PEOPLE, and may have offered it to Summoned over the years. If you’re looking to have a cool magic cybernetic or to have otherwise been slightly robot-ed by him, let’s talk! It could be an interesting CR springboard (plus you get a fancy robot arm, or something).

    Character Name: Jo Harvelle
    Assignment: Guardian of Sanctuary

    AU Information: 1st Plurk: Plotting, 2nd Plurk: Timelines, AU Info (In process)

    Catalysts: Jo will forget her mother—and consequently all their dissonance about her life choices—except as a warm sanctuary building, willing to defend to the death presence that she half takes after. She does remember her father, and she walks in his footsteps mostly as Goddess of the hunt, but Sanctuaries are set up as keep-safe places for the little people everywhere she goes. She's capable of being a righteously dedicated slaughterer of monsters and the maker of sanctuaries for fighters/hunters/those touched by the darkness.

    Jo's also going to post all her memories of Michael (and thus adopt a weird lump of an angelic being who thinks he is instead adopting this hapless human-turned-god who won't stop patting him on the head), and a lot of the early Abraxas is going to become fainter and fainter the more time moves on.

    Reawakening: Because Jo is so at balance with her two natures—vicious righteous fighter and caretaker sanctuary maker—it's going to be a very, VERY big struggle to get her to remember being smaller and at such odds between both parts of herself.

    Behavior: Jo is a Goddess of the Hunt, a Warrior Queen. Defends the innocent, gets into fights with Demi-Gods, and will get in one fight with An Old God. She's all righteous rage at those times. But she's also hearth and home for the hunters, the morally grey, those striving against the darkness even if and when they can't totally live in the light.

    Jo will be different in that she'll be balanced. She won't be worried about the need to hunt down the darkness, the most visceral, vicious, bloody parts of her righteous rage, or the importance and action of making places for people like her once-upon-a-time hunter family to call ports in storms.

    The further it goes on, her sanctuaries will evolve to popping everywhere disasters and distress are rampant, as well. Her followers—though she doesn't have all that much to do with them—will build them in her honor everywhere as a token toward sanctuary from all ills across a human life. Jo sits at a crossroads between Cas' refusal to God and DDean'seasy placement in it, and as such, there is little more of each of them in her actions depending on what season she is in and which of them she’s with.

    AU Information: His info is here! In summation, Geralt is gonna be a wandering wolf man, though underneath the image he's physically the same. He hasn't changed too much. After an amnesia incident (TM) early in, he'll recover with the aid of several people and continue on as he always has: protecting people, chopping up monsters, declining to step in over petty mortal problems. He's naturally long-lived, so the endless years won't weigh on him as heavily, especially since his family are still with him. He'll he tightly linked with his Witcherfam, even if they might not be seen together 24/7.

    His abilities are centred around defending but always with a cost. The light and dark side of being a protector.

    Catalysts: Memories Geralt is missing:
    — ◈ Blaviken, the incident that defined him for several decades, but which he's started to let go of and, 800 years in, will fully relinquish.

    — ◈ The Gold Dragon, which hearkens back to relationships formed and lost through Destiny, a path he is no longer seeking to deny.

    — ◈ Vesemir, his Witcher brothers, and any dropped characters he was once close to (Nero, Rinwell, and Amos mainly) which will be replaced by memories of the brotherhood/family he's formed with CR in Abraxas.

    — ◈ His mother, whom he recalls abandoning him but nothing else.

    I'm open to him regaining these memories through a variety of methods. Anyone who reminds him of Renfri will likely trigger Blaviken, not only physically but in demeanour or history. Geralt will have "permanently" lost these memories as part of his amnesia incident approx. 600 years ago, having never regained them (until now!)

    Reawakening: Geralt will be skeptical to begin with, but he won't be resistant. He has a natural affinity for digging out the truth, even if it's painful, so he'll investigate once he realizes something isn't quite right. I am willing to have Geralt help reawaken others. He will not invest his energy into everyone, but he will seek to convince the people closest to him, as well as anyone who might garner his attention or sympathies. Happy to talk things out if your character will need someone to shake them out of it or give them a push!

    Behavior: Geralt will answer echoes that catch his attention, similar to how he might've once answered contracts posted outside a village. He will otherwise steer clear of other Gods and their business, although if there's any egregious nonsense happening that he can't ignore, then he's gonna take a look into it, esp. if it threatens the people he cares about.

    He'll be pretty protective of children in particular, mostly the ones who are abandoned, orphaned, or lost. The same for outcasts or folk considered "monsters" or damaged. He'll look after them closely.

    Wanted History & CR:
    — ◈ Tensions/Murder buddies. Geralt is lot more willing to intervene if he decides it's necessary, and his methods will usually leave a scattering of bodies and bloodshed belonging to those involved. So if anyone will take issue with this, I'm open to confrontations or tensions. OR if you wanna join him, that'll be good, too! He will not apologize for nor defend his actions, but happy to discuss how things might play out. The only thing I'm not interested in is a big showdown for the sake of it; I'd like any conflict to have a path for development moving forward.

    — ◈ Reunions. Geralt spends his winters in the northern mountains and only emerges in the spring, meaning at the start of the event, he'll have been wintering for about 4 months. I'm happy to do reunion threads or anything like that!

    — ◈ Fast-forwarded CR. Geralt is hard to get to know, so I want to use this opportunity for people glimpse parts of Geralt that he normally doesn't display (his simmering temper, his unflinching violence if the situation calls for it, all that good stuff), as well as speedrun any base CR that'll carry over.

    — ◈ Killing demigods. It's Geralt, he's gotta fight at least one monster.

    — ◈ Philosophizing. Conversations about the nature of mortality/immortality, good and evil, embracing magic or not, whatever you want, Geralt is here for it because these will be things he's thought about often over the centuries.

    — ◈ Casual relationships. 800 years is a long time. If you want to talk the occasional one-night stand or something like that, just let me know.

    LINK TO INFO, which is still a wip and will continuously be added to and refined as more plans become solidified. i’m still wide open for more cr connections, especially as he’s a newbie, but here are a few quick facts:

  • he’ll be married to annabeth chase where a few good decades in, they’ll have children they eventually outlive and outgrow, until they forget about them
  • claire and wanda are his moms, he will forget sally jackson (his actual mom) existed
  • he essentially forgets poseidon, only to slowly become a version of him
  • going to be leaning into the scary ocean eldritch horror aesthetic in percy’s ultimate god-form
  • more in his info sheet! (and more to be added)

  • Catalysts:
  • as stated above, percy will be losing his memories of his real parents, especially everything tangible about his mother, sally. the lessons he’d learned from her, and the core traits that make up his personality because of her will remain but won’t be attributed to her whatsoever.
  • he'll also forget the specifics about the greek pantheon, only that it existed and some basic facts about the ‘system’.
  • he’ll forget who poseidon is and what he means to percy, thereby allowing percy to fall into the path of becoming him without any bias or influence.
  • he’ll forget that he never actually wanted godhood or that he had once turned down immortality when offered.

  • Reawakening:
    percy might take a bit of convincing and start out slightly resistant. of course, i'm not completely firm in any direction at the moment but it’s likely that he’ll come out of it earlier than later (similar to his time in the lotus casino and how he’d snapped out of it pretty quickly). if earlier, he’ll absolutely start to wrangle the troops to wake the others up and convince them of the truth.

    Behavior:
    the core personality traits will still be there (his bravery, kind-heartedness, fatal flaw loyalty, his sense of humour) throughout the 800 years of godhood development, but there will be a lot more power backing up his possible mood swings as he becomes more and more connected to his element and the blessings/afflictions he’s capable of. he won’t likely? be? an abuser of his newfound abilities or status? but unlike his usual self, the boy who turned down the gift of immortality, this time percy won’t be rejecting it and all of the power that it comes with.

    at the end of all of this, the lessons percy will (or should) learn will relate to, uh, forgive me for being cringe but: with great power comes great responsibility; and he’ll get a very real and lived experience from the perspective of his godly family by essentially becoming poseidon 2.0. perhaps it will make him feel a little more sympathetic towards them and understand how immortality can really change someone; or it could develop an even further critical eye for how they became what they became.

    Wanted History & CR:
    so far i've got some very juicy personal connections with regards to family members, but i am always greedy for more! percy needs some siblings! brothers, sisters, more cousins; aunts, uncles, godparents; maybe some familial ties to his now-gone children?

    i’d also love more friends and comrades that percy might have stayed in touch with over the course of 800 years; people he might have butted heads with; people he could have known very closely at one point but as their godly responsibilities took them on different paths they’d become estranged. and also since they’re all gods, i'd love some god team-up cr, especially with anyone who has a power set that might compliment percy’s ocean chaos powers! (as far as specific abilities/powers go, i think think i’ll be sticking with his already pre-existing canon set and then just amplifying it x1000 but this isn’t written in stone either if i come across something cool/a cool collaborative cr opportunity means adding another powerset.)

    as percy’s brand new, i am also starting with a fairly blank slate (aside from castmates) so there’s a lot of possibilities without the baggage, or i'm happy to make up a ton of baggage that can be dealt with as they reawaken, and continue on into post-event fall-out or consequences.

    AU Information: Here! I'm not going to sum it up, I worked too hard on fiddling with code for you people to skip it (there are section links tho)

    Catalysts: Julie will be losing all memory of her Earth and her life there, with the only exception being some songs she knew very well (but even that is hazy). She will have a vague awareness that she wasn't always here, but she doesn't remember where she was or what happened there. Sort of like a vacation your family went on when you were a toddler — you know you were there, but you have no recollections of being there or what you did while there. Her early memories of Abraxas will also be slightly fuzzy, but she still has them.

    Specific memories that she is missing would revolve around sickness, loss of friends/family, a very long walk, New Vegas/Lloyd Henreid/Randall Flagg, and her own death.

    Reawakening: Julie is not going to want to come out of it. She will initially refuse to acknowledge any problem, even when confronted directly with the evidence. Everyone is being silly, everything is fine, the Singularity will take care of us. As the cracks continue to worsen, she will become more and more panicked but also resolute in her determination to stay in the dream. Big squid at the table vibes. It will be very apparent that she does know something is wrong, but doesn't want it to be. Whether or not she be brought to admit the truth and wake up would be largely up to anyone who might attempt to get her to face facts.

    Behavior: Julie will not be all that much different! She will, however, be more chill and authentically bubbly, without the weight of her past dragging her down. She basically took 800 years and committed to self-care. Though she will still have a bit of spitfire in her — that shit's baked into her DNA.

    As far as godly stuff goes, Julie is on the more "hands off" end of the spectrum for engaging with mortals. She does hear and answer some echoes, although she tends to only respond to those she thinks are most deserving of her attention; she has a particular soft spot for orphans and survivors of extreme trauma. She'll also answer those who have a really good offering, but she won't be bought by anyone who has shady motives. She does spend most of her time in the Horizon, as it has always been the most comfortable place for her, but she can also be found regularly in either the Godlands, very close to the Singularity, or the Feywilds.

    Catalysts: Diana will lose her memories of growing up on Themyscira. It will seem, to her, that she has always been "fully formed," as it is. She will know she is old (af), was around before most of the other Summoned, and was considered a god "before," but won't recall what or where that "before" was.

    I would intend for the catalyst being someone else around her recalling their life before Abraxas, specifically their childhood, perhaps sharing similar experiences as she did (kids are kids, immortal or not). She doesn't spend a lot of time around mortal kids nowadays, so she doesn't really remember anymore what it was like. But that could kickstart her memory into wandering back to whether or not she was really just here one day, or if she also had a childhood, a life before this world.

    Reawakening: Diana's whole domain revolves around "found wisdom," about digging deep into oneself to find a path or truth. Once she reawakens, she will be convinced of the truth of it immediately, knowing innately that she could not fabricate such memories. She would try to help guide others towards the same realization.

    Behavior: Diana will remain largely unchanged, since she has already achieved her own godhood and lived for five thousand years before ever setting foot in Abraxas. She is who she is, and less than a millennia isn't really going to change that. She will, however, be a little more sad, jaded, world-weary. She will still be fully of compassion and empathy, but will less freely grant her boons to mortals. However, she'll take careful consideration of other Summoned, somehow knowing that some of them are going to need a little extra help with figuring out how to "be a god.

    Wanted History & CR: I'm up for anything!! I would especially like for Diana to take on more of a mentorship/caretaker role, in line with her arcana sign of The Empress, and kind of make it her job to keep an eye on other Summoned. She's a creature born of love and duty, and that isn't going to change after a few hundred years. Again, she was already a god before coming to Abraxas, she's just delved a little deeper and found her domain now. Anyone who needs help figuring out or testing their new abilities, or maybe just a pretty grounded persons to talk to sometimes, she'll be there for you! Not everyone was built for immortality, and it can be a tough adjustment.

    Assignment: Patron of the Performer

    AU Information: AU character sheet here! This is still a WIP and I'd love to add more background history with her CR (or new CR!) In summary though:
    • Hilda will be going by "Valentine" unless you're a friend in which case feel free to still call her Hilda.
    • She's a trio deity alongside Sylvain and Claude
    • Altair is her brother from another mother, that's right their sibling relationship is official
    • Most of her time over the course of 800 years will be giving the arts a little bum pat and ensuring that they THRIVE
    • She'll spend most of her time in the Free Cities, the Horizon and the Feywilds. She'll spend as little time as possible in the Godlands as she reawakens.
    Catalysts:
    Most of Hilda's memories will remain in tact to make up for the fact that Sylvain and Claude will be forgetting Fodlan albeit it'll only be in broad strokes. She won't remember that they're from different timelines, won't remember that she's died in one of them, and will forget the CR with the characters that have left Abraxas.

    I'm open to discussing catalysts with others! I'd love them to be based around CR/having it be a jumping off point into post-event things.

    Reawakening: When Hilda realizes what's happening she might not want to address it at first, thinking it's something wrong with her. Eventually she'll want to go back to how things were - even if her two partners don't. There will be a deep sense of unsettlement in her bones at having their memories tampered like this no matter how "lovely" things might be. I'm more than happy to have someone compare notes with her and help her realize that something is in fact up.

    Behavior: Hilda will more or less remain the same sweet, energetic tizzy that people know...with a dash of manic (read: psycho) and bite to her playful mischievous nature than usual. Hilda will answer echoes alongside her God partners with the exception of the century that the band breaks up.

    Ultimately I want Hilda to find confidence in her abilities, learn that she doesn't really need to bend to the wills of anyone whether that be a person or society, and that she can pursue what she wants at the end of the day. The relationships she's forged are important but she can do it all with a broken heart (shout out to you, Taylor Swift) if she has to.

    Wanted History & CR: I still have a lot I'd love to fill in! I'm open to fast forwarding cr, having bitchy/silly/petty/ fighting, or maybe even an actual fight?? which could be physical or an actual breaking of a previous friendship (she's the Patron of Performers so you can bet she'll be Dramatic and dial it up to 100). I think it'd be neat to have her abilities compliment (or clash) with someone else's.

    Happy to include some false memories, flirtations or lovers - the sky is the limit which I realize probably isn't very helpful.

    Other plans: If you want Hilda to make you a thing she can absolutely make you a thing during the 800 years she's had to hone her craft. She and Jesper become human every so often to kickstart their fashion business again but she's also taken up actual blacksmithing and weapon/accessory enchantment. Please let her make you a thing.

    Assignment: Herald of Consumption

    AU Information: AU WIP Page here! She's going by Azem now. Her default/Feast form retains much of her original appearance with some updates.h She entreats with mortals in the form of a small pink and white dragon who can blow bubbles of soup or booze. Her Famine form is a giant dead fish thing.

    Her blessings are about bounty and growth and love. Her afflictions are about overindulgence and waste and sickness. She would be more popular with chefs and gatherers (farmers/fishers).

    Her domain is a floating island that is a giant mead hall/tavern that is ALWAYS open to all gods! The food and booze is ever flowing, good atmosphere 24/7. It floats over a barren sea.

    Catalysts: Himeka is missing MOST of her canon memories. What she does remember is THANCRED who she believes has to be her brother because they've always been together. She still retains a lot of context for Abraxas memories but even those are fuzzy, since she's a kind of "live and enjoy the moment" sort of god. She tries not to worry too much.

    I'd love to lean into her Echo ability and get visions of scenes from past Abraxas memories by interacting with other gods and them pinging stuff that has happened before. Did they have a similar conversation? Did they come upon a site they remember from their past life? That sort of thing. I definitely want other people to be the main driving force because otherwise she'd be happy with just doing her thang, even if it's incidental.

    Reawakening: She'd be resistant at first because she's mostly happy with how things are going. But ultimately responsibility supercedes her own wants so she would do a 180 and go "no we need to go back". She could potentially help others along this path once she comes to her own realization.

    Behavior: Himeka retains her friendly and laid back demeanor AND, of course, her joy for food. She wants to share that with everyone! She travels often, especially with Thancred, and enjoys watching and entreating with mortals. This means she has a lot of potential to run into anyone at any time, as her travels take her around Abraxas and in the Horizon. (Sorry if she shows up uninvited, she DID bring Starbucks at least.)

    She also loves fishing, still, and can be seen doing it whenever she can.

    Since she likes to collect experiences (boon) she is also very keen on being a supportive friend and will lend an ear to people. She's a pretty involved god both by nature and concerted action.

    Wanted History & CR: I have a WIP history bullet list going on here but am always happy to expand and add on to it! Himeka is still a very friendly person and would be happy to talk with any other gods. We can handwaive history as well!
    ➤ Open to current or previous friends, lovers/fwb (she is pan!), family, enemies, etc. She's fairly easy-going so enemies would be more hard-pressed, but I am a fan of well-written conflict.

    ➤ Making joint rituals with gods who have complimentary or opposing blessings/afflictions.

    ➤ Do you want a special food named after you? She can do that.

    ➤ People who love DRAGONS?? I feel like Himeka will have been/will be still very interested in supporting the dragons returning and flourishing. Especially now that she has her little dragon form too.

    ➤ KAIJU BATTLES? Her Famine form is large and naughty. I would also love it if someone had to put her out of her famine misery at some point :) To save someone or something.

    Other plans: There are so many things I want to touch but especially...

    AU Information: Here! (Note that what I've written about him completely remembering the past does not longer apply, given the nature of the event itself. But his recollections will be less severe and more blurred around the edges in general.

    Catalysts:

    I think it would be fun for a few key moments in canon to be very blurry to him:

    -The murder of his family; maybe Henry is aware of some tragedy befalling them, and maybe he suspects it totally could have been his fault, but the details as to why he felt so angry that night are fuzzy. I imagine any discussion of discontent regarding family or violent acts could trigger the recollection of this memory.

    -His friendship with Patty Newby as a teen; heck yeah it's time to lose a few memories from the Stranger Things play, but mostly in the form of his friendship-slash-puppycrush with fellow student Patty Newby. A wide variety of things could trigger this, though I imagine discussions/situations revolving around friends and/or outcasts are more likely to do so. I'll play this one by ear.

    -The other tests subjects in HNL; and life in general as a lab rat back in Hawkins, though he will remember Eleven more clearly than the rest. Despite that, he cannot remember the day-to-day life in the lab very well or the faces of the other test subjects. A vague awareness of everything at best. Situations regarding children will reignite these memories: either helping or harming them.


    Reawakening: Given Henry’s whole perpsective on life in general, he will not take kindly to the idea of living in some “false” reality and will very much be trying to convince the others of the truth one the cracks begin to show. Happy for him to butt heads with others over this!

    Behavior: Henry indulges in his powers as a god, but I’d like to imagine that 800 years later and he’s gained 10 percent more chill — he still possesses misanthropic viewpoints, but he doesn’t go out of his way to harm people. In fact, he prefers the solitude, and while he will answer to echoes, he is probably one of the gods that only the bravest or most foolish would hope to call upon, given his propensity to influence others into his… hive mind…

    I’m willing to tweak all this accordingly, of course, depending on what CR histories he has with certain people!

    AU Information: Al has a write up here.

    Catalysts: Some of Al's missing memories relate to partner violence so while I'm comfortable in having that come about from someone else, I want to be very thoughtful and careful on that front. Other missing memories include some of Al's actions in helping people including Viktor and the blood experiments, vaguer future history points, and certain points of childhood. I would LOVE for this to be a collaborative process and would also love to lean into horror tropes to do it. Vampire cliches for sure (blood, blood exchange, etc.) but slower, creeping atmospheric horror would also be loved.

    Reawakening: Al will be resistant to reawakening at first, as he will feel overall very content with where he personally ends up in this AU. He will not burst anyone's bubbles unless they come to him specifically having noticed cracks in realities and wanting clarification. This actually fits with Al's overall godly aspects of rebuilding and destruction, so we can play around with Al being more human or being in more godly form when this takes place.

    Behavior: A lot of this is covered in Al's write up, but overall Al is going to put in a lot of effort to be as human as possible in this reality. He has the luxury of having always been part human and knowing his life will be long, so he considers himself overall very well adjusted. Is he going to be a petty bitch about how other people retain themselves and ties to reality? Hell yeah.

    Overall, he'll be ignoring echoes and interacting with the world on his terms. A lot of his existing game work has been about balance. However I am not opposed to opportunities to upset it.

    AU Information: link ★ adrienne has forgotten the entirety of her life before abraxas, and likely many of her early abraxan memories. she appears mostly as a healer, healing many injuries or ailments, though there are times when instead adrienne uses her powers to kill. in her eyes she is ending their suffering by speeding up an illness (or inflicting one), a mercy-killing of "no other options". she typically appears with a kind of angelic appearance, flowing white dresses, long (messy curled) blonde hair, though her arms have blackened as if she's caught between life and disease (symbolising the duality of her magic and nature).

    Catalysts: adrienne will have forgotten all of her home memories and her early life in abraxas. she likely only remembers from when she started using magic intentionally. catalysts for adrienne would involve: her daughter to speaking/hearing german [if your character knows neither of those things yet from her we can talk about figuring something out if you're interested in catalysts!]

    Reawakening: adrienne will be resistant because she'll find her loss of memories upsetting but also the knowledge of some of what she's done

    Behavior: adrienne will remain kind, though her loss of grounding from her memories is what caused her dual nature (healer and harmer). she strikes a balance with her powers, wanting to keep a very nature-balance with how she uses her magic (and if she heals more than harms she'll harm plant-life as a balance instead). adrienne (of the present) may learn to fear magic less when she sees the good she has done with it (healing) and may open up more to help keep herself grounded (memories are important!)

    Character Name: Claude von Riegan
    Assignment: Patron of the Gambit

    AU Information: Claude's info sheet is here! I'm not totally done so some small things might change but will be finalized by the time I get top levels up. A short summary is that Claude will be a still yet to be named (also taking name suggestions here) god of strategy and is part of a trio deity along with Hilda and Sylvain as the three of them are often invoked together.

    He's a mischievous god on his own and over the past 800 years or so has enjoyed creating varying levels of chaos through his whims and all that assisting (or "assisting") with plans. He can most frequently be found in the Godlands or the Horizon, the Free Cities, and occasionally the Nether.

    Catalysts: Claude will be losing most all of his canon memories over time (beginning about a couple centuries in where he actively starts choosing to forget) aside from some definitive moments in his life he'll bury deep. As of right now, I've planned that he won't remember much about his life before Abraxas with eventually wanting to remember as the event progresses. I would like him to start regaining them over time to have much of it back by the time the second half of the event begins so I'm open to this being a potential plotting point!

    I'm a little unsure on specific catalysts but I'd love to connect it to other characters helping with these realizations, so I'd like to plot this too based on the character involved - maybe there's an overlap in canon themes we could use? In particular I think this would be a really neat follow up after the event for Claude and whoever it is to talk about once they're awake again.

    Reawakening: Resisting at first because life seems to be pretty okay, but as he remembers more about his past and becomes aware of what's actually going on he'll be a little horrified. That'll end any desire to stay and he'd be likely to help others accept that they all need to go back. I'm also up for close CR who remember him as he actually is when not being a god reminding him of who he used to be.

    Behavior: I'm planning on using this AU to explore taking Claude's character in the opposite direction of how he's been in Abraxas to date. Rather than being focused on a greater good and supportive, his motives will be more self-centered and motivated simply by whatever he is he wants to do as gifted by all this godly power. With that means his skills of manipulation and enabling becoming more prominent to either do what he wants or convince someone else to do what they want. He believes in all kinds of indulgences here and will be very encouraging of others to do the same. This will probably be a bit of a journey both in the event and afterwards while reflecting on what's happened to get some lessons from that.

    He'll answer echoes but might not be the most cooperative god unless whatever it is really appeals to him and particularly over the centuries. Near the end of them/towards when the event begins, he'll more responsive to his godly responsibilities and will be interested in teaming up with other gods to make things happen.

    Wanted History & CR:
    - Looking forward to using this event for fast forwarding CR either new or existing! Some of this might rely on when Claude remembers more but I'd really love for some bonds between characters either developing or deepening, and to use that to follow up on after the event to keep the CR going.

    - Backstory plotting! Including being friends, negative things (see below), being godly teams to offer blessings or afflictions, and anything else over the centuries or within the event. Maybe they accidentally created a demigod together too, oops.

    - Fights because negative CR here also has some really great possibilities as long as we plot it out. While Claude will be causing trouble, especially early on, it'll be towards NPCs only unless plotted but feel free to use this as a general basis for interactions too if your character would disapprove. I'm up for grudges, rivalries, long standing arguments neither one of them really remember anymore but Just Know They're Mad About It, and so on. Also up for clashes over differences in how they approach being a god or actions, or teaming up to fight someone or something else!

    - Romance! Claude's the slowest of slow burns for a variety of reasons but won't be in this AU. I'm looking for casual lovers or friends with benefits from over the years to the event and during it, ongoing ships in the same timeframes, past romances with good or bad ends, or anything we might be interested in exploring here.

    AU Information:
    Gale is basically going on a lengthy depression spiral! He will try to use his growing intense Arcane Bond to solve all problems but did you know, magic cannot solve all your problems? The developing Arcane Hunger will conversely leave him exhausted. There will be a lot of layers of illusion going on, magical and non-magical, in which he tries to maintain that he is fine. The vibe will end up like this but he'll be hiding it. A lot of the time, he will outwardly look healthy via the power of magic. Had some more ideas down here but I'm trying to decide if I want/need to shove some of these around as I read this post. Open to ideas!

    Catalysts:
    Gale will forget details of his life: Mystra's order that he sacrifice himself, the fine detail of his adventure through the Sword Coast of Faerûn, his mother, etc. He'll know this isn't his home, that he has somewhere he needs to return to and something important to do, but he won't remember what or why! He'll be very assured Mystra loves him and supports him so that bubble will be unfortunate when it breaks. He will also be convinced it's only this silly world that's the source of his unhappiness, and that it's his own doing. If only, Gale Dekarios!

    Open to people to give him jolts of memory, small or large!

    Reawakening:
    Gale will resist awakening! His AU is a pit of misery, and he will be resistant to believing that maybe this is not fact how life is and where he belongs? This place is miserable, of his own doing, it's just he needs to get back home where Mystra is and where everything is good? It's all the sum of his own actions that put him here! You will need to boss battle his mix of denial and low self-worth to snap him out of it.

    Behavior:
    He'll be familiar to his usual self, but with a sort of tired edge and a slight edge of mania. He will also dodge questions more aggressively than usual -- closer to Act 1 Gale who briefly doesn't want to tell you the truth about his Karsite Orb. He won't reject his powers, but his balance will shift as his desperation to find answers sends him down increasingly dangerous roads. He will try to use his power to give people what they want, potentially over using it, and he will desire to find a way back to Faerûn.

    The lesson we're going for here is Gale Confronting His Disastrous Mental State as well as Gale Learning Not Everything Can Be Solved With Magic And, Maybe, He Can Have Value That Isn't His Magic. Will he learn it? We just don't know!

    Wanted History & CR:
    I have tentatively some stuff pencilled, including maybe Gale having turned on Thorne 650 ish years ago I suppose when it began to lose territory in some fight to protect Astarion, but I'm open to any other details! This is a lot of time to cover, and I am still a little shaky on the setting pre-AU let alone post AU, so I'm loose with specifics! If anyone wants to have been helped by him, or to have tried to talk him out of something stupid only to give up, or anything else do let me know! Equally open if you want Gale to go into his classic romance path of suddenly being in love with you because you were accidentally too nice to him, especially so if your character then went 'ah buddy no' and left him to drink wine alone and get over it. I'm not really looking to start anything serious this way, but it'd be a good awkward thing to have them reflect on later!

    Catalysts: Most of his pre-Abraxas memories will be taken away or foggy, except for memories he got from Abraxas canon updates. An eventual confrontation with Sam will likely bring them back!

    Reawakening: Once re-awakened, he'll be trying to convince others to snap out of it.

    Behavior: Dean's going to be a much more stable sentry, with calmer emotions and a more stoic countenance. On the battlefield he'll be a fierce and righteous warrior, but in times of peace he's a quiet and largely content soul. Having his earliest memories taken reduces his pain, and surrounding himself with family he loves helps fill his internal vacancies. He wanders to answer prayers, to defend the innocent, or to grant absolution to people consumed with remorse.

    Wanted History & CR: Anything!! Really sinking into the found family dynamics and relationship dynamics is my goal.

    Character Name: Lord John Grey
    Assignment: Patron of Verity

    AU Information: God Info Here - although in a nutshell his god form is a satyr because he thinks he's funny and he's doing a lot of wandering helping the mortals with their charm and charisma and generally being true to themselves

    Catalysts: I am planning that John be missing quite a lot of his memories of home, save for his son because I felt that would be too cruel to take from him. His family/his brother. The people he loves/loved. Where he came from. The life he had known. He's forgotten quite a lot and so there are a lot of things to work with for catalysts! Some things that are particularly poignant in his memory I would like to save for close(er) CR, but otherwise almost anything is fair game!

    Reawakening: He is the Patron of Verity for a reason. Once he realizes that there is Something Else going on here, he will want to figure out what exactly is going on. He's always been an investigator and that will be no different even in God Form. The truth will be a little bit of a loss for him, I think, because in truth John is still struggling to find himself at home here while his God Form certainly was that. With that understanding, he'd wish to help others with their own Reawakening but also come at it with the knowledge that just because it is the truth does not mean it might not sting.

    Behavior: John is not entirely different in the emergent reality as he is as himself. He will answer the echoes of those who call out to him and appear to mortals when they seek him out. He is quite a benevolent god so he meets with mortals in God Form more often than some. This is also why his god form is less shocking than some of his fellow Gods perhaps. When not appearing to them directly, he spends a lot of time among mortals indirectly, or just wandering spending time by himself. He likes to enjoy himself in a tavern and have a good meal and drink.

    I think the biggest lesson John will learn from this experience is how effortless magic can be, as he is certainly not there yet presently. Without burdening himself with his past and the hangups he's kept from home, he'll be able to realize that life in Abraxas can be so much more than what he has made for himself.

    Wanted History & CR:
    -Fast-forwarded CR: I'm definitely looking to use this as an excuse to be able to get CR in for some people who John has been around/may be acquainted with, but we'd really like to get to know better! He holds people at arms length a lot, and this is a great opportunity to fill in some gaps and give friendships a little bump that will hopefully carry through after this is done!
    -Relationships: On a similar note, it has been 800 years, which is a long, long time. This offer is pretty much only offered to men (sorry, he's only interested in men) but if you're interested in some History together? Established Flirtation? A Casual Hookup? A Fling? Lemme know your thoughts and we can hash it out
    -God Stuff: I have to do at least ONE thread with John as a satyr answering the echoes of the mortals and if anyone's god blessing powers match up with his in such a way that they want to do some god stuff together, or have a history of doing god stuff/blessings together, I have no concrete plans but the image of him doing this amuses me and why not have a full-on Pan in the woods god orgy type thing.

    Hey there! I know meeting for the first time in AU form can be strange, so I'm completely understanding if it's not what you're wanting for this event. That said, I've got to admit that I've been wondering about an opportunity for Wrench and Lord John to meet. Admittedly, it's for totally selfish reasons that have everything to do with Wrench's concept of himself where it relates to love and sexuality. I don't know if you have any familiarity with the Fargo television canon but Wrench and his former partner were described by the show's creator as "an old married couple" and basically each other's beginning and end. Of course, womp womp, tragedy strikes and now Wrench is forever alone.

    I love John's whole blessing because it is so antithetical to the way that Wrench has been living. He's several layers of repression deep, and while that doesn't manifest in anything even approaching self-hatred, he's basically convinced himself that any amount of enjoyment for anything is a weakness that others will seek to manipulate.

    Character Name: Thancred Waters
    Assignment: Guardian of the Shield

    AU Information: Find his info page here! To summarize, Thancred is a god of protection, though that protection is granted in a variety of ways. He provides that protection most commonly to 1) those undergoing a treacherous journey and 2) those who call Velan Republic their home. He has strong ties to Himeka, Stephen, and Yennefer in terms of who he's linked to lore-wise. He does a lot of traveling and doesn't often stay in one spot, so it's quite likely that he's interacted with most of the other characters/gods over the past 800 years.

    Catalysts: Thancred is going to have forgotten many of his memories from home. He'll remember Himeka/Azem, but he believes her to be his sister now and while they both know that they came from some other realm, everything else is extremely fuzzy. This means that he's forgotten his adopted daughter, Ryne, and all of his drive to protect her has instead been transferred to protecting the people of Abraxas in his god form.

    I think in terms of remembering, anything that triggers memories of Ryne or Minfilia (who's more like his actual sister figure, who Himeka has somewhat taken the place of) will help, but also just remembering aspects of his home world in general, and other friends of his (the other Scions). The other big thing that could crack the illusion for him is realizing that he should not be able to use these kind of powers! Magic is supposed to be impossible for him, so abilities on a god-like level is just... too much.

    I am happy to do this in conjunction with other characters who are reawakening, and it causing a chain reaction of sorts. Happy to brainstorm how that would work!

    Reawakening: Thancred is not one to turn away from a difficult truth, and so I think as soon as he realizes that there are things that he's forgotten and that the reality around him is not correct, he'll be trying to widen those cracks and will do what he can to help others wake up. If that means giving people who are more resistant some tough love, he'd be willing to do that too.

    Behavior: Thancred's general demeanor will not have changed too much, although I think he'll be less focused on the specific politics among mortals now that he's lived in a detached way from them for so long (even if he sometimes is cheeky and assumes a mortal form to go hang out with them on the downlow). His general drive to protect people will still exist (though his protective urges might be overboard at times), and he'll be relatively easygoing in his interactions with other gods. That being said, people will probably have noticed that he doesn't seem capable of settling down, even now. There's a sort of restless vibe there, because perhaps a part of him senses that something is missing, and that the "replacements" he's found among the other characters are not quite right.

    Wanted History & CR: My info page includes some of the big points in Thancred's history and who was involved in them, but I'm happy to add more in now that we have more details! I'd be happy for:

    - Backstory plotting. There's a lot to fill in over 800 years, so I'm ready to do a lot of handwaving and assuming here for the purposes of speedrunning CR and also making things awkward when the event is all said and done. This could be that our characters became friends, that they clashed and made up, or that they've held a grudge against each other for ages because their god info is opposed.
    - Stuff related to Nott/Velan Republic. Early on, I want to believe that Thancred was quite involved in the Velan Republic moving away from Thorne, so if we want to establish that he worked together with your character on that, let's talk!
    - Close friends/found family. While Thancred believes Himeka to be his sister and Sansa has taken on a sort of daughter role for him as a stand-in for Ryne, there is plenty more that could be added here!
    - Casual encounters. As mentioned, Thancred travels a lot. We can assume that he made a habit of checking in on someone if they have an area of the world they tend to prefer to stay in, even if it's a "check on you every 10 years" sorta deal.
    - Overprotectiveness gone wrong. I really like the idea of Thancred overdoing it with trying to protect someone and it somehow backfiring and things never being quite the same after that, or it leading to outright negative CR.
    - FWB. If you want our characters to have banged at some point, it's on the table!

    Other plans: I'm totally open to doing initial threads on the first log with everyone still caught up in the AU, and then focusing more on the catalyst/awakening stuff later on!

    - Responding to echoes. Thancred will do this when he believes that it's something he can help with, and will be happy to team up with other gods in responding. He is most used to addressing these with Himeka, Stephen, and Yennefer, but will happily team up with others too depending on the scenario. Let's combine god powers!
    - Fighting demigods. I LOVE FIGHT THREADS and getting to mess around with all these OP god powers for the sake of doing a cool thread sounds amazing. Let's do it!! Thancred is still here to be your tank.
    - Horizon or Godlands hangouts. Sometimes he wants to chill where pesky mortals can't bug him.
    - Mingling with mortals. He does sometimes present as human and go vibe with humans without them knowing who he is, so if anyone else does that, they could have a random encounter and secretly go lolol at each other over it.
    - So many other things I am probably not thinking of at this specific moment! I'm happy to discuss further in a back-and-forth on plurk or discord.

    Catalysts: Zagreus's memories are of early game canon - and more specifically, the most other Summoned were originally mortal. Essentially he thinks that everyone else were always gods.

    Catalysts for this I think could be anything that has people bringing up 'that time when I was young and mortal'. Basically, anything that remind him that this isn't just how everyone has always been.

    Reawakening: He'll join the 'convince everyone else of what's happening' crowd, and I'd say he might be a bit angry at the fact that they're all collectively being lied to, in a way)

    Behavior: Zagreus is actually going to remain largely the same as he is now. He's already a god, so for him this isn't much of a change personally. Also, from his perspective, it hasn't really been that long. Basically for him this is the divine equivalent of going off to college for a few years.

    Wanted History & CR: I am open to suggestions! I don't have anything in specific in mind that I want to wrangle, but happy to brainstorm ideas if anyone would like some history with him!

    So Apollo will be changing a lot and forgetting that he was once the god of a whole bunch of things before he focused on helping guide people & shielding them from suffering. It's a gradual change but it would be nice (and also maybe sad) if Zagreus can remember what Apollo once was
