Player Name Jade. Character Name Zoya Nazyalensky. Links & Reasoning Zoya acknowledges that she's a new arrival to Thorne (without saying that she's a new abductee) and that while it may appear like she's being quite presumptuous believing she could be a representative of a group of people while being new, she would present:
As soon as she arrived in Thorne, she showed great interest in learning the magical culture of the kingdom, going as far as attending class and assisting in teaching young magical students, using the basics of her own knowledge to help them confidently harness their magic. Zoya mentions that she has powers and is a teacher herself; she has trained witches (there's a slight stumble over that word; she still hates it) for the majority of her young adulthood, regardless of magical prowess and skill. She has also trained those without magical powers in combat with great success. (This is to show she won't speak only for those like her.)
Back home, she is the Commander of the King of Ravka's armies (both magical and mundane) and a member of his Triumvirate (she'll briefly explain that the Triumvirate consists of three advisors who guide the King in political matters of personal affairs, estate and war), and isn't afraid to petition a monarch who may not agree with what's been put forward. She's not intimidated by status. She has successfully led battles and has extensive experience with war and politics, and wishes to use her expertise and knowledge here, if welcome. She grew up in a palace similar to Thorne as part of the King's army and understands what it means to serve her people.
She wishes to represent everyone in the kingdom—Summoned and not Summoned, regardless of status.
She says this with unwavering confidence (that may be intimidating???). It's almost like she's been here all this time.
Zoya will answer any questions, giving enough of an answer to be satisfying. (She will not reveal the name of her king—that's a secret! 🤫) She does not thank anyone for their time; she's just not that kind of person.
