A Look Ahead
The OOC Plotting is scheduled for the 12th of this month, while the IC Event Log is scheduled for the 15th. The event will involve further disruptions based on the previous event. In-person cross-territory interactions will be limited, but the Horizon and Network will be accessible as usual.

ABOUT YOU: An almost 40-something married lady with two cats living in a yeehaw state with my wife. I'm a reader working on book 33 right now, and I love to be outside with a book when I can, if I'm not on my laptop. I did get into gaming a little more this year and I've finished a few games including Breathe of the Wild, Dave the Diver, and Hades, although with all of those examples, are they really ever over? I enjoy tv too, and just finished rewatching all of the Golden Girls. Currently watching The Bear, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and Everybody Loves Raymond (lol).
Adora
CHARACTER NAME: Adora
CANON: She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
SIGN: Strength
TERRITORY: Free Cities
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Adora was for all intents and purposes, raised as a child soldier. She was stolen as a baby to one day become She-Ra, a legendary hero. Her life was outside of her control before she could walk, and manipulated until she believed she was on the side of good in a war against magic and a kingdom of princesses. As it turns out, she wasn't, and after seeing some awful shit, Adora defects and leaves behind her mother-figure and her best friend.
When she goes out on her own she finds a magic sword, touches it, and transforms into an 8-foot tall Amazonian warrior princess with godlike abilities. There's lore written about this warrior named She-Ra, and she's supposed to save the world. Long story sort, Adora becomes a tool, first as a key to move the entire planet through the universe, then as the emergency shut off for what is essentially a magical fuse about to blow. The latter destroys her, but the Power of Love saves the day
Here in Abraxas, Adora won't be gaining the ability to transform into She-Ra for a while, she's going to have to earn that for reasons I'll put below. But that's the rough and dirty version of Adora's history, I'm happy to dive in deeper if there are questions!
CR YOU WANT: Adora, her entire life, has been raised to believe love is conditional. 'Do this action and receive love.' 'Be She-Ra, receive friendship.' She needs CR that eventually helps her realize that's not the way it should work. I'd love to explore a mother/daughter relationship somehow, because the woman who raised her from infancy was a controlling, manipulative, abusive witch (literally), and Adora's never had a parent-type figure. Well, she did, but then Queen Angella died so that Adora didn't have to and she's never dealt with that.
I think she'll get a good sibling bond with the Doctor going, especially living with him, but she needs friends too who don't know anything about She-Ra, so Adora can't assume that people are gravitating toward her because of what she can do and who she turns into. Eventually, when she does gain the ability to turn into She-Ra again, I want it to be after Adora's realized she's worth more than what she can do for others.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: I'm pretty down for anything except just random negative, unprovoked type stuff. Adora can be really LET'S GO TEAM and optimistic sometimes, and possibly too enthusiastic about going to punch rude or mean people in the face.
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: At some point, once Adora has a few solid, established friendships, she most certainly needs to have the late teen/early 20s experience she never got to have. Drinking, hangovers, doing stupid shit as a kid does. Until someone is finally willing to step in and help her balance her life. I'd also like her to screw up and unintentionally disappoint someone so that she can tell them it was nice being their friend while it lasted. Because she'll assume she's failed as a person and they'll be able to move on from her as a friend. She needs to know that's now how it has to work.

Claire
CHARACTER NAME: Claire Fraser
CANON: Outlander

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Claire is a former WW2 battlefield nurse who inadvertently time-traveled to Scotland, 1747, when she was on her honeymoon. She was orphaned when she was five or six and was raised by her archaeologist uncle. It was a very nomadic life for her, with private tutors and historical finds a large part of her growing up.
After time traveling to the past, she met, married, and then fell in love with Jamie Fraser. Times were not alright, and after three years, various torture, the loss of a child, and war, Claire went back to the 20th century while pregnant. Jamie went off to die in a war (specifically the Battle of Culloden), and Claire raised their daughter with her first husband, Frank. She went to Harvard med, became a world-class surgeon, and generally lived haunted by loss. But surprise, Jamie lived! So, after two decades she goes back to him and that's about when Claire arrived in Abraxas.
As of right now, she lives near the edge of the forest in the primary settlement in a house with a large garden and a small shed that was once for beekeeping but was turned into a very tiny tiny house. She keeps busy by continuing to help the family she lived with for months, tends animals, helps make communal meals, and visits the other settlements often. Her magic is based around plants, able to grow them at will, speed along crops, and is ever evolving as she learns from others. Her latest ability is healing magic as long as the person isn't too far gone.
She's in a relationship with Jon Snow, and it's still sort of shiny and new, so post-Nocwich she's extra uhhhh glowy for a little while. Also! She's wrapping up her dig mid-month, so things will be going back to normal in that regard.
CR YOU WANT: Claire's been around long enough now that when I say anything, I genuinely mean it. She's well established and I'd like to push her out of her comfort zone a little. Gardening buddies would be fun, and so would some sort of foraging group. No one likes it when she goes in the woods alone, so people who are willing to go out with her to be the muscle are always a plus.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Can't think of anything for Claire, all good here with anything as well.
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: At some point I'd like Claire to start working toward the goal of opening an healing herb/plant shop in Solvunn. If someone has persistent bad dreams for example, she'll whip up a drought to calm the mind using her plants and magic. I feel like this would take time, and she might need an initial guinea pig with an unusual symptom to push her in this direction.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Diana is an immortal Amazon from the hidden mythical island of Themyscira. After spending thousands of years preparing to defend mankind in an inevitable and cataclysmic war, a WWI spy crash-landed on the island, told the Amazons about the war, and when nobody else would go with him to fight, Diana ran away with him to go kill Ares, the God of War, who was responsible for starting and perpetuating WWI. After kicking some ass and being a good, soft girl, she learned that she's actually a daughter of Zeus, and has been grappling with her newly-discovered identity.
CR YOU WANT: I am here for any kind of CR! Definitely people who can kind of teach Diana more about people and other worlds in general, people she can spar with or teach combat to, mentorships, people who want to work with her to Do Good Deeds™, people she can hang out with in the Horizon, and anyone who needs a Mom Figure in their life (or just a Diana figure in general). She's currently running security for caravans going between Cadens and Aquila, doing odd jobs for the townsfolk in Cadens, visiting Nocwich on the open weekends, spending a lot of time in Libertas helping with rebuilding/relief efforts and other such efforts in her faction, and drops by the sparring rings fairly often (though not as often as she used to), so she's around a lot.

↠ Even though she's a soldier, she'd prefer to avoid any kind of war if possible. She's glad the factions are on better terms right now, but is wary of the governments of all the factions (except perhaps Solvunn, which she knows the least about).

↠ It is now common knowledge among the established Summoned that Diana is already a god!! After last month's AU event, it's safe to assume your character knows if they participated in the event. She was perhaps not as negatively affected as some Summoned might be, though she is sort of weirded out that she kept part of her god form, notably starlight in her hair and eyes when she becomes emotionally charged. But I'm down for anyone who wants to follow up with her on their feelings about potentially becoming a god in the future!!

Arriving having not only lost his mother but committed patricide and nearly been murdered during acts of intimacy, he was not at his best. Since then, he's gained a reputation as an architect and works with Jaskier to put on art events in the city. Following event 18 and some soul searching, he is taking a hiatus from his architectural firm to focus on other pursuits, primarily shoring up the faltering arts sector in the Free Cities thanks to Thorne’s attack. He also now has a sweet skeletal stained glass finger as a souvenir from event 18 that he's feeling very mixed about.

How the territories treat the Summoned following even 18. Al is still working through his feelings about it, and I’d like to continue to explore that thread.
People whose arts related careers Al can help support. As much as he’s worried about the sector right now, Alucard has learned he really enjoys building the right supports and taking care of the daily work so that others can focus on their craft.

I’m really interested in poking at some of Alucard’s less-than-surface issues, mostly what it means to be half-vampire and half-human. He’s at a point where he feels it starting to come up via interacting with both sides of Nocwich more, and I’d love to see where that goes. Al is upfront these days about being a dhampir and the overall situation of his parentage, so if deeper implications about humanity or lack thereof is your jam, we should talk.

Kyle's past is pretty heavy, it involves a lot of trauma dealing with his world's church, his upbringing in a monastery where he was trained to be a priest-assassin-spy. There's also some world-hopping and memory issues that persist since his arrival here. He's come to terms with his church as an institution being not so great, but he still holds an unbreakable devotion to his deity and has been learning to separate what the church taught him versus what he knows his god's all about for real.
He's been here for two years now, and just got out of a month long stint in Thorne jail!
CR YOU WANT: Friends, enemies, everything in between. Not super picky!
He's got a lot of contacts (friends) in other factions, once you gain his trust he's willing to trade information. He's also willing to help Thorne newbies get their footing with general world/lore info, I'm happy to either play this out or handwave.
Because 1) he thinks he was dying before he came here and 2) he believes this is where his god wants him to be, Kyle is starting to wonder about the long term in Abraxas on a personal level. He has a soft spot for other people who want to make a home here, and in general is very protective of the people he gets close to even if he doesn't always show it.

➔ Current state of events in Thorne and the world in general.... Kyle is technically pretty high influence in Thorne but he's sorting out what to do with the new regime in a post-coup world. He is pro-Thorne in the sense that he still believes Thorne needs to be stable to protect the Singularity from whatever the Free Cities eventually intend to do about it. Also, war sucks people dying en masse sucks.
➔ MEMORY/TIME TRAVEL/THE MULTIVERSE: Kyle will open up to other multiversal (time) travelers to get information on their experiences. He has some theories about the past Summoned and the newer gods, but nothing confirmed.
➔ RESEARCH....? he was heavily interested in the Ninth High Mage's Summoning attempt that went BAD, and seems to have gotten confirmation to his theory about where those New Gods came from. In general tho he's still interested in hearing everyone's wacky theories about the Singularity, creation, etc etc.
➔ Singularity buddies! Kyle made a connection to the Singularity and gets ghostly massages from it every so often when he's sad. CHARACTER INFORMATION: Nanaue is a seven ft-ish tall manshark. His needs and wants are very simple, mostly involving how hungry he is at any given time and whether or not you are friend. So far, everyone is friend!
He's been learning how to READ... his grammar and spelling have improved enough to have simple conversations on the network.
In Solvunn he is known for having a little red barn that he lives in (it's an official locale!!) and he likes to paint the outside walls. The children in the first settlement like to play with him, and he has eaten 0 (living) people so far. The goats are on his shit list, though.
CR YOU WANT: MORE FRIENDS ALWAYS. Everyone in Solvunn is automatically friend. I would love for him to expand to more friends in other factions, he has a few that have visited his domain. He loves when people leave him presents even if he can't really read most messages left with them. If you'd like him to wander into your character's domain sometime pls let me know.

He's in a band with Eddie Stranger Things and has been drawing their logo everywhere around the Primary Settlement.

Eddie is a doomed by the narrative, anxiety-ridden metalhead from 1980s Indiana—but like, a highly cursed town in Indiana that houses an alternate dimension with monsters and creepy shit. Long story short, he had one really bad week that started with him being wanted for a murder he didn’t commit (the satanic panic of it all) and ended with him getting munched on by some mutant monster-bats.
He repeated his senior year twice back home and in game time, he’s 22 years old. He doesn’t like conformity, but he does like D&D and rock music to an obsessive degree. He’s super dramatic and just a little bit nervous. He’s incredibly intense and might look like he’s gonna strangle you if you even try to insult his favorite bands, but he’s a kind-hearted dude who genuinely wants to help and do the right thing and has a serious soft spot for those who “don’t belong”.
He got some cast stuff going on right now. Dustin’s gone as of this month and he’s very upset about that. Henry is Vecna (NO THEY DIDN’T KNOW UNTIL RECENTLY LEAVE THEM ALONE) and he doesn’t quite know how to feel about that. He and Steve were a thing in the AU event and now they are pointedly Not Talking About It and that’s just…that one’s a lot.
CR YOU WANT: I’m here for all kinds of CR! Eddie is generally petty easy and chill to get along with. If you’re one of those aforementioned black sheep or freaks, he’s 100% going to get along with you. But he can be really frustrating and stubborn and intense I you’d like to create some negative CR as well!

🦇 Current Happenings. I’m sure this will expand a bit when the event info drops and Solvunn is really dragged into things, but right now we’ll sum it up with this: he has a lack of trust in the gods and the Singularity and…everyone who isn’t a fellow Summoned, tbh? He came out of the AU event feeling okay until he got an opportunity to really think about it. Now he feels kind of weird about all of it. He’s still visiting the Horizon for the sake of speaking to people in other factions and playing his guitar, but he feels weird about it!

🦇 Post-AU Stuff. Still open to plenty of this because it was such a huge thing! Feel free to make assumptions about him based on what your character learned or saw in that time. I will say that he’s been more upfront lately about the fact that he’s dead back home and the anxiety of not knowing if he’s running on borrowed time is kind of driving him crazy. It’s never been a secret, but he’s kind of held it close to his chest. It became petty common knowledge in the recent AU event, so feel free to assume your character knows if that’s ever something you’d like to have them discuss.

His brother is kidnapped. Chris dies and ends up here, hoping that he didn't completely fail and his family will rescue his brother before the trauma can completely warp his mind.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Will Solace is a 16 year old demigod, son of the Greek God Apollo and an alt-country singer named Naomi Solace. He's been a year round staple at Camp Half Blood, the only safe space for Greek demigods, since he was 10 years old and attacked by Stymphalian Birds. He specializes in healing/medicine, as the Camp's Head Medic. He's been through 3 wars, and seen more than his fair share of combat for someone so young. He took on the role of Head Counselor of the Apollo cabin ever since the first war broke out when he was 13, and all his older siblings were killed. Very little is going to phase him!
He is persistently cheerful and stubborn despite all the horrors he's seen, and he's seen plenty. He's still coming to terms with the idea that there's more than a little darkness in him.

- Apollo's canon point is post-The Sun and the Star, meaning he's already gone through all of the character development from The Trials of Apollo. TL;DR he was trapped as a mortal teenager for six months, re-connected with his own empathy & humility, and finally confronted the fact that he's got PTSD from the way Zeus* has treated him and the rest of the Olympians. He emerged from his trials with a newfound sense of purpose & determination to take responsibility for the safety and well-being of the mortals who depend on him.
CR YOU WANT:Apollo understands he was a terrible person in the past, and when he first arrived was trying to overcompensate in the other direction by taking responsibility for others well-being. During the 800 year timeskip, this had gotten bad, and he had literally started to crack under the pressure. He has decided not to unpack that right now.
His son Will is here, along with a smattering of other demigod relatives, so Apollo is trying to take responsibility and be a good parental figure to all of them.
He loves Will and all the not-Wills equally.He's very high on the idea of having a family with a healthy and functional dynamic, instead of (vague gestures toward Olympus) and thus has been adopting other Greek Pantheon-adjacent characters as siblings and cousins (except Achilles, sorry dude, he's already killed you once. It's awkward.)Apollo has mostly been coasting so far and I haven't dipped my toes too much into plot stuff but I am excited to try and get more into it!
*His canon's Zeus, I understand that this is not the way Zeus is in all adaptations, just how it works in the Riordanverse.
