ACTIVITY CHECK: AUGUST 2024
Activity Check: August 2024

◎ Overview
When submitting your Activity Check, please keep in mind the following:
To familiarize yourself with our full activity rules, be sure to review the Activity Requirements section on the FAQ. If you have extenuating circumstances that've limited your ability to thread, please contact us.
◎ A minimum of two threads with a brief summary for each thread is required.
◎ While there's no minimum comment count, Abraxas is a plot-centered game that requires a degree of thread progression. We expect threads to contain reasonable interactivity with other players. We may request supplementary proofs if interactivity is insufficient. For example, one reply to each proof posted late in the month, or early in the month then dropped, would not be enough. Previous activity patterns will be taken into account, as well.
◎ Backdated threads (from the previous month only) are acceptable, but the comments linked as proofs must take place during the current month. Although both proofs can be backdated, you're encouraged to submit at least one thread started in the current month whenever possible.
◎ TDM threads, network threads, and inbox threads are acceptable, but must not make up the total of both proofs (i.e. both proofs can't consist of only TDM threads). Additionally, at least one proof should be a log thread. Both proofs cannot be network-style comment spam.
◎ All players are expected to reply, including if you've submitted a hiatus. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from posting your AC, you may have another player comment with a proxy submission on your behalf.

◎ Forms
Fill out the appropriate form by the deadline to stay in the game! Failure to reply will count as idling out.
Remember that you do not need to submit a formal hiatus to use your Hiatus Pass. You can submit the Hiatus Pass form directly on this month's post if needed.

◎ Notes
- If you've signed up for July's Quests, please be sure to turn them in by the end of this Activity Check.
- You can request an Event Gain for Event #20 and will have to the end of September's Activity Check to do so.

Character Name: Viktor
Thread 1 Link + Summary: with Istredd; discussing the Heralds
Thread 2 Link + Summary: with Alucard; tasks at Portam Hall and lamenting the situation
Power or physical gain: Event - I'd like Viktor to start developing an augmentation ability similar to what he was able to do in the emergent reality. For an example of how this worked in practice, Jaskier in the AU is a good example--the idea is that this procedure is less focused on acute injury and more alleviating chronic conditions or weaknesses. I do not plan to have it reach the state it was in during the god AU, and here are some limitations to bring it suitably down to level one (I am open to other suggestions/restrictions if you still feel this is too much!).
I'm interested in developing this in relation to potential work on Heartwood syndrome, if that gives you an idea of the direction! He'll mostly just practice on himself to start.
Notable actions: Worked with Cid on his morbol trap, countered the Heralds, and assisted around Cadens.

Regarding Viktor's event gain, we ask you select and let us know one restoration or augmentation aspect he will be focusing on (joint and bones, organ function, etc) as opposed to all restorative functions possible. Once you move towards Heartwood syndrome, please use the Plot Engagement.
