New Mods and Updates
Hello Abraxans!
Firstly, we'd like to thank everyone who applied to come help us out on the mod team, and the game at large for your continued patience while we get ourselves set up behind the scenes. Please welcome mods Cygnus, Pavo and Pyxis, who will be helping us implement planned game features as well as updating and streamlining existing pages and mechanics!
Some of these features are already live and ready for you to use.
Setting Information
Our existing Navigation page has been updated, and now links to an updated set of Setting pages, with further, in-depth descriptions of various locations in Abraxas. Information on local NPCs, landmarks and locations of note will be added to the comment sections of these faction-specific pages as they are introduced. The Bestiary is also open for business, with a collection of creatures native to Abraxas listed by habitat! We hope these pages will help you describe the world around your character with confidence.
We have also launched a Horizon page, which describes the experience of accessing the Horizon in detail and provides a collected list of answers to frequently asked questions.
Engagement
Over on our new World Building page, we invite you to submit player-created elements that you would like to share with the game! These can be persistent NPCs, locations, landmarks and businesses, or creatures to populate the Bestiary.
We have also introduced a new form to our Plot Engagement page, which offers a guiding structure you can use for submitting your ideas for player-led plots.
Eagle-eyed observers may have already noticed recent updates to the Calendar! We will be populating this further with information on upcoming events including an inter-faction modplot once details are finalized, but for now please note:
- Nov 20th - TDM
- Nov 23rd - AC opens (Check-in only)
- Nov 25th - Reserves open
- Nov 30th - AC closes
- Dec 1st - Applications open
Please note that Activity Check for both this month (November) and December will be check-in only!
Additionally, while we have no dates fixed at this time, we plan to launch the Quests feature and look at raising the game's player cap once we've finished the rest of our updates to existing systems and have our feet more firmly under us.
