There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community and signal boosted on Plurk! CHARACTER INFORMATION: Wanda is the Scarlet Witch of lore. She is a person who has been shaped by tragedy and loss, thus why she's pretty reserved. She wields powerful magic, and tries hard to be one of the good guys—even though she consistently messes up and ends up doing more harm than good. She used to be part of the Avengers(?) and her canon point is post-WandaVision, having exiled herself to learn more about her magic. Here is an opt-out post for some of her magical skills!
CR YOU WANT: One of the big themes for Wanda is found family, but other than that I really like the idea of some conflicting CR because of different opinion and/or personality. Magic-inclined friends would be fantastic, as well as the brother-types, and any non-magical folk she could help out with magical endeavors.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Though she keeps to herself quite a lot, that does not reflect my interest in building CR; I'm down for pretty much anything except romance since that ended recently and tragically for her.

Gives off a vibe of being forever Tired, and is also often disinclined to bother with things like Actual Effort unless there is a good reason to (or he gets bullied into it). Will complain about absolutely everything, and means... at least half of it.
CR YOU WANT: Pretty much anything! People for Emet to talk tech at. People for him to talk magic at. Maybe people he can talk magitek at? But to be honest, he's got a whole lot of time and is pretty much always looking for people who could be either potential allies or people he could nudge into furthering his plans.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Anything romantic is going to be a very hard sell if not impossible, now that Hythlodaeus is here.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Jaskier is a lil man with a lil lute (A BRAND NEW ONE AND IT'S PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL) with a lil pet gryphon. You may have heard of him, because he's the only idiot who got to a six-star influence through the power of love, songs, and sex. He will definitely brag about it.

If you haven't seen the Witcher, more seriously: he's a medieval-era bard who is basically the Lady Gaga of his world. A true rock star. His best friend is Geralt of Rivia, whom he loves and adores and who he WILL use as a threat against you if you're mean to him. He got tortured a few months ago and he's still pretty bent out of shape about it, so he's going twice as hard on Work, which means... performing. He sings songs about people and adventures he's been on, but lately he has been working on ballads pertaining to the three factions.

He also has a small flower stand in the Cadens markets where he sells home-grown flowers. (From plant magic. He has plant magic.) He's currently dating a necromancer and a woman married to Satan and has other various lovers that he's very fond of. They are all very cool and incredibly powerful and could kill him one-handed, which is awesome. See joke image below.

CR YOU WANT: Most is great! Jaskier is (usually) very easy to get along with, and if you're hot and of-age he will definitely probably flirt with you. He does a little less of this as late as he has two very deep relationships in progress and Season 2 was, in general, a little hard on him. However, he's a great drinking buddy and generally very good at repping The Suns.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: The only kind I'm not interested in is negative CR for the sake of being negative. If it comes naturally that way (lookin @ u, gorp) then that's fine!

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'm up for anything at this point, really! Jaskier just performed a concert in Cadens at the end of March for the people of the Free Cities in order to raise money for the Old Public Hall, which is a large public speaking hall in Cadens. He is working alongside Alucard to restore this hall to its formal (magically runed) glory.

At the moment Jaskier is looking into creating an arts-based commission/council/etc. for the Free Cities in order to encourage interest in art and music (as the Free Cities have a military/science interest, mostly.) If anyone is into being involved in that, he would love to talk about it!

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Nero is the kind of man who thinks attaching an engine to a sword makes sense, and then made it work somehow. He is a Devil May Cry franchisee, the two-time winner of getting stuck Saving The World From His Own Family Or Family-Adjacents*, and he's just arrived in Abraxas after the second time (and learning his dad is lame.) He also happens to be one-quarter demon, is super strong and super fast and super naked, and occasionally he has four arms. He can turn into a scaley on command which is great for parties, but more importantly he can also make his right arm disappear which is even greater at parties because his dad ripped it off once and sometimes we have to laugh through the tears, right?**

Generally Nero is cool with things. He is very good at killing demons but probably not great at getting paid for it. Please hire him to kill monsters or something, a man cannot make a living picking up cow poop and milking goats.

* He is related to Dante but please don't remind him about this. Please, please, do not assume he is Dante's son. Please. One man can only take so much. He's Dante's nephew and learning that Dante is throwing pizza parties in hell in a Medieval Times is really already going to be too much for him.

**He has not attempted either trick at a party yet.

CR YOU WANT: Annnny. Nero is surprisingly chill for a demon hunter but he tends to be Very Hot Headed about things that he takes personally, which is usually his family, protecting people he loves and being called dead weight. Look, it's just. A thing. I am very interested in him getting involved in Solvunn and its culture, and possibly into any shenanigans that may erupt from putting his nose where it doesn't belong (looking at you, Old Gods.)

This may not come up, but his VA is Johnny Yong Bosch and he is EXTREMELY Johnny Yong Bosch about it so if your character knows anyone voiced by him it would be rly funny to me if they commented on it. We respect our favorite Power Ranger around here.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: None I can think of for right now! Romance is out -- Nero has a girlfriend and he is very devoted to her, thank u.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Nero is a gold-star orphan, which I don't know if that's a thing but for me it means he's been orphaned twice. He will get pretty easily invested in Solvunn as a place that's taking him in (even if they're the reason he's here in the first place). He might complain but saving the world is a Priority for him, because people are cool and also he lives like, in the world. I'm keeping my TDM threads canon, so he might sort of have gotten picked up like a stray dog and adopted by Wanda and Himeka, and now he has to learn how to milk goats.

Please respect his home and do not litter or be mean to goats. Also do not mention cults or old gods to him, he's very tired of both after being raised IN a cult that worshipped his grandfather (that he did not know at the time). It's a whole Thing. Devil May Cry, everyone.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Short lizard girl is excited to see you! Himeka is a Warrior of Light, which is kind of the malleable protagonist from the FFXIV storyline. She a laid back person who goes with the flow even in some of the most dire situations, rather than plan likes to jump into things head first and see what happens, and generally is keen to be helpful to anyone around her. She sees big cosmic moving quests as important as catching the lost chickens for a local farmer. She can be easily distracted by this things but eagerly wants to explore the world. I like to say she's chaotic good, heavy on the chaotic side and tends to be very blunt despite how overtly friendly she can be. She is a powerful mage in her homeworld who is skilled in both white and black magicks. Fishing and dragon enthusiast. "I'm a healer, but" meme.

CR YOU WANT: Any and all! She has a tendency to adopt/foster wayward teenagers and also promote/encourage both good and bad behaviors in both. I always love for her to get to talk to other magic users and compare notes or be something of a guinea pig for non-magic users. She's prone to wandering and random exploration so anyone else similarly inclined would be more than welcome.

Himeka is used to talking to just about anyone from any walk of life, so if you need someone to randomly chat up your character or listen to their life story? She's your girl. Positive? Negative? I am HERE for it, lovelies. She is generally too empathetic to the plights of the little guy to be corruptible, but she also lends an ear to everyone and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt, for good or for ill. She is drawn towards people with high levels of motivation and ideals. Also she loves learning about other people's worlds/lives so anyone willing to share those experiences with her.

Also if your character loves food she will feed them. Snacks are always on hand.

She is one of the original Summoned who escaped to Solvunn after jailbreak, so I am always happy for her to also be a resource to any newbies!

I'm open to shipping if anyone is feeling brave, though she's honestly even better with FWB and short-term flings. She's been feeling a little disconnected and lonely so you know, small comforts.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: N/A

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

➤ She is getting involved with the spirits/gods/magical parts of Solvunn, so anyone who wants to plot along a similar path would be great. Combine forces! She's definitely the magic user rather than a scholar. Raw power and knowledge through practice vs. study.
➤ She has an ability that let's her see into other people's pasts, so if you have a character with a backstory they're not likely to divulge she's a great mechanism for getting some things out in the open! I love using this to help foster CR.
➤ Himeka is teaching conjury magics to those interested! Right now it's regulated to just Solvunn. She's also practicing quite a bit away from the settlement proper for anyone else who wants to stretch their wings or...you know, watch things explode.
➤ She is also spending time learning High Magic while in Solvunn, so anyone who wants to expand their Abraxan-style magicks is welcome to join her.
➤ Her Domain is portable and mutable. It shows various scenes from her homeworld including being UNDER DA SEA and there are usually dragons.
➤ She can be gullible and too trusting, so anyone willing to take advantage of that is great too.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Dante is a half-demon (don't worry about it) half-human monster hunter who looks like he's just hit his mid-life crisis. He tries a little too hard at being cool which also makes him not cool, yet somehow he rounds that 360 back into being a little cool if you squint. He likes to wear red and may not have showered recently but that's probably because his hot water was turned off. He is never without a snarky quip that is mostly for his own amusement but is that trope of being kind of a softie on the inside. Kids love him and they shouldn't, but maybe they understand him because he also doesn't want a bed time and to survive on cake and pizza. Also you can stab him a lot and he won't die. Go ahead and try it!

CR YOU WANT: I'm very open! He's not super established at the moment and has been mostly being useless as intended. Please accost him in Thorne and in Horizon. I do like it when he incidentally ends up playing dad!uncle to younger peeps so I'm definitely down for that. Also people his own age to chill with and, of course, people to annoy. He's definitely going to upset someone. But I also really really like people he can just get soft on or help motivate him into action and to do better. HE IS. A good dude. On the inside. He just makes a show of being obnoxious.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: Can't think of anything at the moment.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

➤ Open Pizza Party in Thorne! Yeah you heard that right. You don't need to know him to join, he's gonna be trying to find some willing "customers" all month. Come on down!
➤ I put him in Thorne specifically because it's somewhere he won't want to be, so either people who want to encourage him to do the magical nerd thing or people who can lament with him that being a nerd is lame.
➤ Any other characters with extra special abilities. (He has demonic powers.)
➤ Other characters who hunter monsters and fight shit for a living! (Bonding?)
➤ Women to boss him around. This is just a recurring theme that I need to keep in his life.
➤ Ultimately Dante isn't really the sort of research and gather kind of guy, he's a "I've been called in because something that got nasty needs to be taken care of" person. So he needs to team up with people who have those missing skills!

CHARACTER NAME: Jon Snow
CANON: Game of Thrones
SIGN: The Emperor
FACTION: Thorne

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Medieval hero-king type, only with more psychology. Jon is a very kind, big-hearted, thoughtful, and well-intentioned man, albeit introverted and apparently moody, who is also a skilled and aggressive killer if you get on his bad side. He typically acts with a lot of integrity, and is uncomfortable when he can’t. He is 24 and has been through it.

He’s coming from S7, between episodes 2 and 3: he has recently been murdered, resurrected, won a major battle, was made King in the North, and is en route to Dragonstone to meet Daenerys to ask her for help fighting off about 100,000 ice zombies that are coming to kill the non-ice-zombie side of the human race. He misses his sword and his direwolf.

CR YOU WANT: Anything good! Friends, brothers/sisters/enbies in arms, potential romance, mentors, etc. Mild rivalry or some abrasiveness is also OK, but Jon is motivated to forgive minor slights and work with people as much as he can. I’m open to most things here. Previous CR is fine (but see below).

CR YOU DON'T WANT: Caustic murderous hatred (canon examples would be Ramsay and Ser Alliser), partly because Jon is from a pull point where he’s starting to move past that kind of thing, partly because the motivations for this kind of extreme negative CR don’t yet exist in this setting.

Also, Jon doesn’t really do casual romantic relationships if he can help it, but idk if this is totally off the table… it’s just that he’s slow and careful about getting involved, and tends to resist his own personal desires, so it’s hard to make this kind of thing happen in a way that’s IC for him.

I know there was previously a Jon in the game, but while I am friends with the player, I have no idea what was revealed, and I’d like to dial back any major reveals from after this canon point as much as possible. Jon does not know that he is the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne, that Dany is his aunt, that he will fall in love with her, or that he will wind up killing her. He also doesn’t know that his coalition will defeat the Night King and his army.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: All of it, which is not helpful to you!

He is in Thorne because I thought he would initially adapt best to that setting and structure, and it could be a good launching pad for later plot stuff. However, Jon is a skilled outdoorsman and fighter who really loves wandering around in nature, so he would definitely be interested in any missions that involve going out into the wilderness. While he is not in Solvunn, he’d be interested in the Old Gods and how they differ from his own, and he’d be interested in how Free Cities tech could better the lives of people back in Westeros.

About TDM threads: I will continue those if you like, but I bailed on Free Cities ones for reserved characters pretty early on when I decided on Thorne! Other than that I’m very happy to keep any for other accepted characters as game canon and keep rolling with them.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Wen Kexing was orphaned as a child and raised in the Ghost Valley, a place where the world's unwanted go to escape punishment or abandonment from society. He became the lord of the valley, overthrowing the other lord and ruling by being the most unpredictable and fearsome killer in the bunch. He still tends to throw up a very defensive, wary front with people, always ready for the worst to come for his throat. But he's also really honest. Wen Kexing is a meathead who was forced to learn cunning for survival. When he gets the chance, he tends to be honest to a fault, emotionally driven, and sympathetic to the weak. He swings between feral and mother hen depending on situation and can switch between these modes instantly. Part of him is still learning how to open up to people and part of him is almost naïve, experiencing the world for the first time since he finally left the valley.

CR YOU WANT: All of it! Friends, rivals, people to argue with him. People to teach him things. Sparring buddies. Food friends! Found family or frenemies. I'm open to trying anything.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Mostly just not interested in trying to reform him? He's a villain, but also the love interest. That said, shippy things will be limited with him. He is basically married to Zhou Zishu, but he is not above flirting with other guys. He just likes to appreciate people.

This means that while he's been spared 5 years in a world where half the population is dead, he also hasn't had the chance to settle down as a family with Pepper like he's always wanted, and the trauma/guilt of losing his comrades is fiercely fresh in his mind. As far as how I approach Tony's characterization in general, feel free to check out his app, since I already definitely wrote way too much about Mr. Anthony Edward Stark there. TL;DR he's a genius but he's also a moron, and he definitely thinks a banana costs ten dollars.

• Give me your animu, your vidja, your huddled ttrpg OC's – I love threading Tony with anyone and everyone. Full disclosure that he might be a little more withdrawn than usual given his canonpoint, but he's pretty apt to cover up horrible life-altering trauma with humor, and soon enough your character will get a nickname and you will regret it.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: Tony is 100% dedicated to one Pepper Potts, so while he'll still casually banter and flirt, intimacy is probably off the table unless the Abraxas wildflowers release some really questionable pollen as an event or something.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Tony's coming off some extremely traumatic events in his canon, so it'll be interesting to see if he dwells on that vs. throwing himself into the world in a bid to somehow get back home. Either way, seeing Tony have to deal with suddenly not being one of the most recognizable faces on the planet is a jamjar trope I love to play with – as well as him rubbing people the wrong way but ultimately proving he is, shockingly, that good at what he does.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Samus is a Bounty Hunter from space; a jaded, brooding, socially constipated lone wolf type. Cold and taciturn on the outside but secretly soft on the inside, especially for kids and animals. Huge justice boner. Can handle her space booze. Dry sense of humor. Her parents were murdered by a purple people eating space dragon, so she was orphaned and raised space birds and trained to be a great warrior. She joined the space military for a bit then decided rules are for losers. She's genetically enhanced/augmented like a super soldier, got paid to do literal alien genocide, has murdered several clones of herself, and has blown up entire planets/space stations by this point in her career. Has too many dads. She does not have her suit of Iron Man-esque armor here in Abraxas, but her other relevant skills include punching, kicking, being good with guns and picking things up like grapes. Is buff and very tall. Not so good with tact or smiling. Samus is, however, actually very nice. There's info in her journal if you'd Like To Know More.

CR YOU WANT: ALL KINDS! Positive, negative, platonic, familial, romantic, sexual; anything's great in my book! Generally does well with other bounty hunter/hunter/mercenary/military types, robots/ais, sometimes scientists, and non-human characters. Can grow to be very protective of anyone she cares about.
- Characters who force her to socialize, either intentionally or on accident. Where are you, you mischievous street urchins, flirts, and naughty scallywags?
- Sparring partners, workout pals, booze buddies, sassy banter friends, soft dichotomy friends?

Negative CR/antagonistic is great and I love and want it, though it may take extra effort to maintain with Samus because she's prone to ignore/not engage foolishness unless it's made personal.

Otherwise I'm content to handwave at this point because I suck (or if you don't mind embarassingly two week old slow tags) and wait and see what the eye of sauron the Singularity brings next event. - She's been working as a local monster hunter and dragging carcasses back into the city for fun and profit. Hunting friends?
