There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community and signal boosted on Plurk! Event #7's OOC plotting post is scheduled for the 13th of this month, while the IC event post itself is scheduled to go up on the 16th. Stay tuned! Characters might discover there's something to the Singularity's Eye after all...

ABOUT YOU: i work in publishing (we love entertainment industries and working all the time) and love fandoms and do a lot of rp/ttrpg/starting larp/cosplay/etc. i will talk about shipping and rping and being excited about cr at all times and i’m not sorry about it. please always come and yell at me if something is exciting or if there's anything we're rping you love.

biggest things you'll find me chatting about are gonna be witcher and mcu (i'm watching through netflix marvel atm), but I am also heavily into book fandoms and will plurk about anything I am consuming at the time (greatest recent hits are whatever book i'm reading, grishaverse, the expanse, etc.). my plurk (feel free to add me at any time) tends to be a lot of RP commentary, spaces where i talk about pretty much any form of consumable media, and anything else i feel like screaming about at the time. c:

CHARACTER INFORMATION: yen is a sorceress who has survived some shit to learn how to become powerful and channel the chaos/magic within her. she’s very headstrong and will do whatever it takes to get what she wants, which has included - in the past - playing the Court Life Game. she is very much the type to use people to get where she wants to go and sees it as a means to an end, and yet somewhere under it all is a moral compass that does have her draw the line at children and mothers and those who cannot protect themselves. she can be short on patience
CR YOU WANT: YENNEFER IS BACK AND READY TO BE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH IN THORNE. she had a short stint there where she was a bit distant/wasn't really out and about with the new arrivals in thorne, but it does seem she is back to her court life presence (including her association and loyalty to the queen), so she is here and ready.

cr i would be interested in kinda is all over the place: mentees of magic, flirtations, people who are scared of her/find her intimidating, negative cr in general, kinda friends (she is not quick to open up to anyone, and actually seems a bit more guarded/dodgy than before)

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

- she is going to take some extra interest in being more of a mentor to people coming in, especially those new to magic. she is very studied, has a lot to say about magic theories, and there are PLENTY of reumors about her being a powerful magician, but she will. very suspiciously. not be using magic. c: and will be very good at talking her way out of any conversations about it.

- she is going to be doing a lot of studying of the singularity and the different ways magic interacts with it

- tbh any and all exploration into new ways of magic that people might bring in but its fine it's chill. don't worry about it. c:

- OPEN TO A BUNCH OF NEW OPPORTUNITIES. she's going to be coming in around the event from a super secret and super important mission given by ambrose (she's been with stephen strange and thancred waters) but she'll be back after that point to get into some trouble.

I would LOVE shenanigans with these two. Both because I want Cass to learn magic (and she would be interested in all different kinds and styles once she's started learning even if it's not the style/type she's learning. Because omg MAGIC. LET HER LEARN ALL THE THINGS.) and because Yen needs a snarky de Rolo in her life. No idea how they'd get on but it'd be fun to find out.

It might be interesting to have Rey sort of end up being a mentee of Yen, she's going to be interested in the magic of this place and learning more about it and the history and all that nerdy stuff, but she can't go to the other person who is teaching people because it's Kylo and she'd rather peel off her fingernails.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: hello hi let’s talk about captain america. and about how this dude (who genuinely cares way too much and somehow managed to keep ahold of all those really niave beliefs and hopes for the future of everyone) who has spent his whole life trying to CHANGE THE WORLD, and found his way to do that by giving shit to the one guy who most people were too intimidated to give shit to (aka cap #1). anyway. that cap has retired and after some soul searching and a couple of missions and also adopting a certain cyborg staring machine, sam took up the shield and is now driven by what being cap means to him and how he can help as many people as possible. he is an eternal optimist, believes in the good in people, will give you a Captain America Speech, and won’t regret it. he’s doing his best here okay??? and will continue to do so.
CR YOU WANT: sam is on a mission to adopt/connect with/be friends with like probably the entire game (except goro). he already feels pretty responsible for everyone anyway (whether you want him to or not) so he's happy to help provide a safe place to go, someone to talk to, a dad (or cool uncle) if you just want a hug. in general, he is looking for allies or found family (because he misses his a lot), and is happy to make connections with ANYONE AND EVERYONE. generally, cr for sam rn has fallen into three categories: He Has Adopted, He Will Try And Help, or He Will Protect (sometimes a mixture). if you fall (or want to fall) into any of those, hello hi come talk to me. c: I am also not against negative cr for any reason so if you think your kid will butt heads??? let's go for it - it might take a sec because sam isn't looking to make enemies but we can always get there.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

- UNOFFICIAL CADENS WELCOME COMMITTEE: if you're in the cities, chances are sam is going to come find you out in the barracks or track you down in the streets. he has a whole system set up to help people come in from the bunker/get a place to stay/get a job (he can get you set up in mag's inn if you need a place to stay, but there are RULES). so any newcomers/newbies will probably at least get a HI WELCOME. LETS CHAT. COME ASK ME IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS IM HERE TO HELP. and he is willing to answer anything and everything as long as you're just generally curious.

- POLITICAL SPHERE: so right now sam is (unintentionally) kinda a big deal. he's level six, which means it's entirely possibly you'll hear his name mentioned out and about the general populace of cadens. but because of that he's also known to be the person that, if your character is asking around about the summoned/what all has been happening, there's a good chance they'll point you in his direction. BECAUSE OF THIS, TOO, if you're interested in getting your character involved in the politics of thorne, SAM IS HERE TO HELP AND WE CAN FIND A WAY TO GET YOUR CHARACTER involved. c:

- THE SUMMONED AT LARGE: right now sam's kinda also in the process of building up some close connections between thorne, free cities, and solvunn among the summoned themselves. he's in the space right now of "we summoned need to stick together and stay out of the rising tensions". fairly soon he's going to start reaching out to people to start setting up some meetings in the horizon, and trying to feel out who is in what faction and how helpful/involved they'll want to be.

BEYOND THAT:

- he is prepared to be anyone and everyone's uncle/dad figure/parental figure if you need one or even if you don't. he is HERE to build a found family, come join in the party he cooks great dinners. did you have a bad family history? he will be your new dad. just want some kinda support? hello he's here.

- friends!!! for real!!!! he is building his crew and his circle and he is always open to bring in some more people that he can rely on/trust. he's super friendly, too, but CLOSE close cr will take a little time.

anyway i've been meaning to mention that since ur gurl whanda is in solvunn, i'm more than happy to have her kind of be sam's eyes and ears there? since all the mcu populace is mostly in cadens HAHAHA she's going to be digging into some stuff herself, but anything sam would like to know, *finger guns*
