There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community and signal boosted on Plurk! Event #7's OOC plotting post is scheduled for the 13th of this month, while the IC event post itself is scheduled to go up on the 16th. Stay tuned! Characters might discover there's something to the Singularity's Eye after all...

ABOUT YOU: Hello, lovelies! My name is Kayla and my plurk is mostly a lot of babbling by me about work, general life stuff, fandom things, & RP. My big main fandoms at the moment are Grishaverse, The Umbrella Academy, Prodigal Son, but I have also had mad love for TVD/The Originals, The Flash/Legends, & Warehouse 13 in the past just to name a few! CHARACTER NAME: Inej Ghafa
CANON: Grishaverse (bookverse! from the end of Crooked Kingdom, specifically)
SIGN: The Hierophant
FACTION: Free Cities

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Inej is a spy and she's really, really good at what she does, which is basically collect information and steal secrets of people without them being aware of her doing it– I'd LOVE to get to play with some of that in game, so hmu if you'd be down for her to maybe overhear conversations or pick up certain things about your character just because she's sort of wandering the streets of Cadens both in daytime and nighttime to familiarize herself with the streets and rooftops of the city in a way that's familiar/comfortable to her. She could come across anything under the sun just by nature of people not noticing her being around, however we decide we wanna play it. She's not a gossip, so it's not like what she finds out will suddenly be known by the whole city, but it could be fun for her to just quietly collect information about people around.

THAT SAID, I'm also really trying to branch her out a lot right now and net some CR. She recently moved to the Free Cities from Solvunn, so she's in a big sort of "starting over" phase at the moment. She's been in Cadens for about a month, so we can work out some vague/light passing CR that could have accrued over that time and jump in without needing to focus on "Hi, I'm Inej, who are you?" introductory things. She stays at Mags' Inn, where she currently is trading work for a room. She can easily be connected to Jesper Fahey because of how frequently they could be seen together.

There's a lot of internal things building for Inej right now, where she feels very lost, out of place, like she has no purpose here and she doesn't know how to move forward from that. So she's definitely trying to find a niche in this world/in Cadens in general. She's seeking a proper job, too, so if you'd like to assume she's asked your character in passing if they know of anything, I'm cool with that too!

CR YOU WANT: People she might know in passing from her idle wandering in Cadens, people that frequent the Inn, or folks she might have come across during general errand trips to shops; fellow badass ladies to be badass ladies with; people that want to parent/mentor/etc her even though life has forced her to grow up much faster than she should have had to; I'm open to negative CR if it falls that way as long as there's at least some substance to it; and in general I'm pretty open to most things, let's just brainstorm some things~
CR YOU DON'T WANT: No shipping/smut. Sorry, her heart is taken by a feral cat in the shape of a boy back home my kingdom for a Kaz in game and sex is just not on the table for her (beyond the fact that she's a minor, there is a lot she has to unpack about the idea of it, in general).
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I always love found family stuff, so if our characters connect in a certain way that could certainly be a direction to go; I'm definitely interested in getting to play with her spy skills, so opportunities for that would be good; I am big-time feeling the need for something to sink my teeth into and create an arc for her here so hmu if you have ideas on that score.

Oh but on a slightly serious note: Alina being told about her book!fate (per Inej's current awareness), do you want that to be avoided cuz I can respect not wanting that thrown at her feet.

Oooh great question. I think I do want the reveal-but-not-really from Inej + Jesper's canon point but maybe in a month or so once I've got her settled into Abraxas again. Maybe they don't tell her yet because how do you just inform someone of their impending doom lol.

I would absolutely be here for a meeting of spy-types on a rooftop, Zhou Zishu tends to run around up there a bunch himself. It sounds like they have somewhat similar skillsets, so that could be real fun.

Oooh I kind of want to handwave and jump into new things? But also could be fun to continue. Still leaning towards new, though. Would Inej point Cass in the direction of Mags? Especially if Cass mentioned something about wanting to avoid the barracks?

Yeee. I just think there's such an awkwardness to first meetings and sometimes it's easier to assume a little and jump right on in~

Inej would definitely mention Mags and her Inn, so you could use that as kind of a jumping point to net other CR too tbh

Oh definitely. I figure they walked around, picked Cass up her art supplies, chatted. Maybe a little about their respective worlds, and about THIS world. (Cass probably asked about employment opportunities and other practical things, too. Like the rooming situation.)

I maybe kind of sort of have Wanda & Jesper's thread tracked to my inbox (I love them, your honor 😭 ) and I would ABSOLUTELY love to net CR with her and Inej! Maybe the event will kick off an opportunity for us, or if not, there's always the horizon~
