There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community and signal boosted on Plurk! Event #7's OOC plotting post is scheduled for the 13th of this month, while the IC event post itself is scheduled to go up on the 16th. Stay tuned! Characters might discover there's something to the Singularity's Eye after all...

Or: Tenma is a doctor and as close to a saint as a normal dude just trying to live his life can be. He learns how to use a gun and then spends several years never managing to shoot his target because of his soft center and complex about The Value Of Life. As a perfectly normal human with no special powers, magic and world hopping are big and startling and he just wants to, again, live his dang life. He can't resist putting his nose in people's business to make sure they're doing basic self-care and if he gets involved with someone once, he's involved with them Forever, so watch out: the fussy doctor is on the case!!

Other fun Tenma facts include: sometimes birds just land on him, he has cried over burgers, he can't do push ups, he's incredibly bad at saying no to sad kids and buys people presents purely because he was thinking about them, he was suspected of serial murder for a long time somehow despite all this. He's sweet and kind of sad all the time like a stray dog, and he's very hypocritical about the self-care thing because he often neglects to eat or sleep. It's cool.

CR YOU WANT: all things baby he's brand new. I'm willing to keep TDM canon also. ✌ Broadly, Tenma's favorite people are troubled birds who nonetheless persevere, so if that's your character... lmk. He's also a really good doctor if you need one of those, and he does not ask to be paid, lmao. Hit him UP!!

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Mostly, he's feeling things out atm and attempting to adjust to magic. He wants to learn about healing magic (shocker) and Do Medical Practice, so wherever that happens to take him will be where it takes him. As such, the local infrastructure and that mysterious disease in Fomalhaut are up his alley, but I cannot stress enough that If You Need A Doctor Just Call Tenma. He's ready and willing to run himself ragged getting in everyone's health business.

sad thing is if he thought it was viable he'd be like yes let's go let's do it when do we start and he puts the anesthesia mask on himself and gives a thumbs up

I actually googled it when we started playing so I read his wiki! It was quite a journey and I'm still not sure I 100% understand all of it but I'm glad I did it! lol

it's a ride... monster is about tenma roaming around europe making wholesome friends and suffering deep psychological trauma at the same time, and also the rest of the bonkers things!! i understand.

I am canon blind but I really enjoyed their TDM thread so I'm up for continuing this CR. Troubled bird who perseveres is pretty much Geralt and he takes well to people who give off vibes of being very sincere

I'm definitely down for a little coercion for Medical Attention at some point or they can talk fantasy magic-science, like injecting children with weird blood to make them superhuman (it's very safe)

It's fine after the massacre they stopped the practice because no one was left alive to do it anymore so there's a silver lining to every murder

Monster is one of my favorite series and I’m happy to see a Tenma around! But also… how about some of that neurosurgeon CR! If nothing else they can be a perpetual loop of fussy doctoring each other someday.
