There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community and signal boosted on Plurk! Event #7's OOC plotting post is scheduled for the 13th of this month, while the IC event post itself is scheduled to go up on the 16th. Stay tuned! Characters might discover there's something to the Singularity's Eye after all...

CHARACTER NAME: Zhou Zishu
CANON: Word of Honor

FACTION: Free Cities

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Former assassin and spymaster who left most of his fucks behind with his old job. Determined to live the dissolute life of drinking and being lazy, but a lifetime of spy training and a certain amount inherent nosiness tends to get him involved in things despite his best attempts. Can come across as stoic and reserved at first and has a preference for fading into the background, but he can also be an absolute troll, especially when he likes people, and has a primary love language of Being Annoying.

He's also got a number of health and physical issues because his retirement plan came with a three-years-to-live clause. I have an opt-out if you'd like me to avoid mentioning any of it or anything else.

CR YOU WANT: Drinking buddies, sparring buddies, assassin/spy types who want to talk shop. He does better with human contact despite how reticent he can be, so I'm really up for anything that forces him to be social.

Also folks who can help him get over his old-man-yells-at-cloud suspicion of all this newfangled technology nonsense. He does have interest/experience with some clockpunk-esque tech back home, I'd love to get him more into Free Cities' shiny machinery.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: Probably no shipping, no one deserves to have to deal with both him and his idiot boyfriend.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

- He's currently riding the line between wanting to Know What's Going On and being determined not to get involved, it'd be great to find a reason to really push him in either direction. Currently he's been doing a lot of public eavesdropping and convincing himself it's just because he's bored.

- Please fight him, it's weird that he's gone so long without throwing hands. Might start taking trips out into the wilderness a bit because he's getting restless and also...

- Starting to get back into the herbalism/apothecary business. His specialties are antitoxins and poison antidotes, and maybe if you ask him the right way, the occasional recreational relaxant or hallucinogen.

- I'm really into doing Horizon stuff because I find it a fascinating concept. I'm going to try to get his info page for it up soon but please feel free to talk to me about weird dreamscape stuff.

He doesn't hate technology so much as he's real suspicious of everything and is being contrary about it. Having someone actually explain a lot of it would probably help a bunch.
