There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community and signal boosted on Plurk! Event #7's OOC plotting post is scheduled for the 13th of this month, while the IC event post itself is scheduled to go up on the 16th. Stay tuned! Characters might discover there's something to the Singularity's Eye after all...

I am!! So excited!! We were hoping for more Scions and you almost never see Y'shtola but she is so near and dear to my heart, I absolutely lost my shit when you posted. You're doing so well with her!

Like I mentioned in the TDM, Y'shtola is Himeka's intro Scion so she's very important to Himeka as well. (Emet brining her back from the dead was actually the turning point where she was like "oh okay you're part of the team" towards him until...well, everything else that happened.) I'm always happy to plot out specifics because I know things may change from WOL to WOL, but by in large she would take direction from Y'shtola pretty well and value her input on everything. (You can also assume that whatever the strangest dialogue option is the one that Himeka would have said because that's fairly accurate.)

Since they're in different factions I hope they'll get to meet up in Horizon soon! Himeka will definitely keep both Y'shtola and Thancred appraised of ongoings in the Commune. She has some ideas about rejoinings and the Singularity and all that BS that she does not feel qualified to pontificate on but Y'shtola is definitely someone who she would believe could figure out for them.

ahhhhHHHH I am glad, I have never played her before. But I am super glad to have been able to get in, you guys were so welcoming on the tdm and I am very appreciative of you threading with me. I'd love to know all the things about Himeka so I can get a better idea of her and Y'shtola but I think it's lovely that she was Himeka's starter Scion and I'd love for that to be part of their dynamic.

I also hope they can meet soon! I made the decision for Thorne solely on magic/politics because I'm a sucker for that shit but dearly am hoping for a thread with you and to get them interacting soon. I'd love to get the both of them churning out thoughts on the Singularity and all the info with that.

Honestly I'm surprised by that because I think you have a great handle on her voice! I'm really glad we were able to enable you. (Just as planned.)

Thorne is a perfect choice for her, she's going to get her nose into all the good magic lore there. I do have Dante from DMC to toss her way in person if that's of interest as well! Though I figure she will find his shenanigans less than amusing most of the time. At least he can offer pizza?

What is important to note about how Himeka sees Y'shtola is like, she's someone who changed her life? If Y'sthola hadn't decided to bring her in on things Himeka probably would have struggled in Limsa and not gone on her adventurer journey (in her own eyes). Since she's a Ruby Sea lizard she came from Kugane to Limsa and I imagine she was there for a few months, being pretty gullible and easily swindled. But still good-spirited about it. (TL;DR the reason she went to Limsa was actually because she heard of the Bismarck sandwich and then wanted to join the CUL guild...but you can't join a crafting guild without a battle guild. So she did ARC which she was not good at.)

They also have a pretty similar class path given that Himeka is a WHM/BLM main (and some RDM, but to a much lesser degree). I say that her magicks are powerful but kind of unrefined since Himeka leans more on just natural talent than proper study, so that maybe something Y'shtola is aware of being constantly an issue with her. Like she COULD be so much better (GOOD PARSING? LMAO) if she tried.
