This post is for coordination while the event is ongoing, to prevent the IC Event Log from being overrun by OOC mod and player communications. The comments section will contain applicable comments and forms for you to reply to as needed.

Mod Communications / Randomization

If you have something you want to do related to the event plot, you can communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting large resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission to proceed. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

You can also use this section to request a randomized mod roll.

Interactions

Several interactions are available. For Part 2, there are fewer mysteries to uncover, but plenty to interact with to see what happens. You can interact with something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Note that interactions might carry IC consequences, though we'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something. To interact, fill out the form, then comment under the corresponding item.

IC Exchanges

Use this option if you have an interaction you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For example, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.

Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon, and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.

Request: this is double request/question but both involve ikorr!

first, and this one is another 'basically want to get on the books' comment, but would like to say that yennefer most likely would have contacted ikorr not only for the sap in the first part of the event as mentioned here, but she would have reached out to celeste when nocwich was opened for additional supplies/aid. In the log is already specifies that representatives from Ikorr arrive, so I don't know if that would be the response to her reaching out or something else, but wanted to have it stated all the same! she is looking to help increase the potency/etc of the healing potions that are being prepared and would state as much if asked.

second, she would most likely be very direct in asking the ikorr healers to teach her everything/all they know about the use of the sap in regards to healing so that she can better make use of it. would there be anything additional she would learn? her intention would be to figure out The Cure (which also is already discussed in the log), but also anything else she might pick up!

Celeste would write to Yennefer agreeing to supply some of the sap. She adds that a fellow Summoned reached out to her colleague, Osanna, for a similar request and notes that Ikorr is willing to work with both of them to do this.

Ikorr still holds its secrets, so they would not quite agree to teach her everything. However, they would tell her that - as Nocwich has offered to all those part of the Home Team who are seeking a cure for the ritual - she can enter the Nightbloom to retrieve some of their sacred flower, as well as go to Lunar Pond for the werewolves' moon-blessed water. They suggest she can attempt to experiment with all three ingredients. As a result of their contentious relationship with the Lunae, such a thing has never been tried before. They trust that, should she be successful, she will not make more of this substance without permission from both Luna and Ikorr, due to sensitive diplomatic relations.
