EVENT #14: CREATURE THREAT SUBMISSIONS

Canon Creatures #2
Despite the influx of creatures from other worlds into Abraxas, there is still room for a few more. This time, instead of benign or low-threat creatures, we'd like you to submit potentially dangerous, infamous, or volatile creature that exists in your character's canon world! Depending on the number of submissions, we may use all of them or we may narrow down the pool.

To submit a creature, fill out the form here. The deadline is August 13th at 11:59 ET.

To discuss what creatures you'd like to submit with your franchise-mates, you can comment here.

Review the stipulations below before submitting your creature:
One creature per canon/franchise. If there are multiple canons in a franchise, please discuss options with your franchise-mates and submit one together. All characters from ordinary worlds with no monsters or creatures will be considered one "canon/franchise."

◎ The creature in question could be a moderate to major threat. The creature does not need to be outright aggressive, but would typically be something that someone with common sense would avoid.

◎ The creature should be something that populates your world. It can be moderately intelligent, but not human or explicitly limited to human communication. The xenomorph from the Alien series would be an acceptable example of intelligence.

◎ Creatures can be large, but should not be larger than a three-story building.

◎ If your canon has no other option, then creatures of a robotic nature are acceptable. For canons that have no unusual creatures or no creatures that fit the requirements, you can select a common cryptid, mythical entity, or even a prehistoric animal (that's right, dinosaurs).
Questions and Answers

If after reading these you're still unsure about anything, or your question wasn't covered, please feel free to hit up our Questions thread below!

If a creature I submitted before has a more dangerous version, can I submit that?
Yes, you may submit a version of the same creature that poses a greater threat.
What about androids or robots?
We ask that you avoid anything that contains high technological advancement, except if mechanical creatures are treated as standard critters or monsters in your character's canon and no other options exist. In this case, please try to choose something with limited technological capabilities.
Did you say dinosaurs were possible for regular-earth canons?
We sure did.
What are the power limits on the creatures?
We'll leave it up to your discretion! In general, they shouldn't be world-breakingly powerful but should be a significant threat.
Can we submit creatures that aren't dangerous?
For this round, we're requesting creatures that would pose a danger, even if that danger is unintentional. For example, a benign creature whose sheer size causes destruction would be acceptable.
Mods...what are these going to be used for?
Don't worry about it.

Player Name: Mica
Creature Name: Thresher Maw
Canon/Franchise: Mass Effect

Description: (wiki link)Thresher maws are wormlike, subterranean carnivores that spend their entire lives eating or searching for something to eat. They are enormous, violent creatures that burst up from the ground without warning when disturbed. They can grow in excess of 90 meters in length, though the full body of a Thresher almost never exits the ground and their primary method of locomotion is rapid subterranean burrowing.

In absence of prey, a Thresher Maw can survive by absorbing significant quantities of solar radiation via an unusual mineral-based form of photosynthesis, rather than starve. Their primary weapons include powerful whip-like sensory tentacles, razor-sharp mandible appendages— and a powerful acidic spray that they can spit hundreds of meters with remarkable accuracy, and which can eat through almost anything in minutes.

In general, a Thresher Maw is a massive, highly-resilient, fast-moving, acid-spitting, aggressive, territorial, pain in the ass. The generally accepted responses to Thresher Maws are heavy artillery, or simply moving to somewhere else. Fighting them on foot is not advised.
