Welcome to our OOC intro and CR meme. We encourage you all to get out there, plot, and introduce yourself!

There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game. Players are free to introduce their characters however they like.

◎ Nocwich is OPEN every first weekend of each month. Characters can get some cross-faction CR here! Beyond those 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and outside of game events, characters from opposing nations will only be able to see each other in the Horizon.

◎ A Conclave vote is being held in relation to Event #15, prior to the OOC Plotting Post. Please submit your vote by October 11th. New arrivals may participate!

◎ The OOC Plotting is scheduled for the 13th of this month, while the IC Event Log is scheduled for the 15th. This month's event will require the Summoned to make an important choice to help save a vital ecosystem.

CANON: Final Fantasy XIV

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Short lizard girl is excited to see you! Himeka is a Warrior of Light, which is kind of the malleable protagonist from the FFXIV storyline. She a laid back person who goes with the flow even in some of the most dire situations, rather than plan likes to jump into things head first and see what happens, and generally is keen to be helpful to anyone around her. She sees big cosmic moving quests as important as catching the lost chickens for a local farmer. She can be easily distracted by this things but eagerly wants to explore the world. I like to say she's chaotic good, heavy on the chaotic side and tends to be very blunt despite how overtly friendly she can be. She is a powerful mage in her homeworld who is skilled in both white and black magicks. Fishing and dragon enthusiast. "I'm a healer, but" meme.

CR YOU WANT: Any and all! Himeka is the sort of person who will talk to literally anyone. And everyone tends to start with a +5 friendship bonus with her as well. She's very trusting. But as for specifics...

➤ She has a tendency to adopt/foster wayward teenagers and also promote/encourage both good and bad behaviors in both.
➤ Other magic users or non-humans! Sometimes those go hand-in-hand. But in a world surrounded by Hyurs (default Human from her verse), it is nice to mix it up.
➤ She tends to see monster hunters and adventurers as kindred spirits upon meeting.
➤ Partners in crime who will go along with her sometimes off-the-wall ideas and get into trouble. She has very little sense of self-preservation and a #YOLO attitude. It's fun!
➤ Himeka is used to talking to just about anyone from any walk of life, so if you need someone to randomly chat up your character or listen to their life story? She's your girl. Positive? Negative? I am HERE for it, lovelies. She is generally too empathetic to the plights of the little guy to be corruptible, but she also lends an ear to everyone and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt, for good or for ill.
➤ She is drawn towards people with high levels of motivation and ideals.
➤ She loves learning about other people's worlds/lives so anyone willing to share those experiences with her.
➤ Also fellow foodies is a big plus.
➤ I am open to shipping or casual hook-ups, fwb too. Himeka likes all shapes of people!

She is one of the original Summoned who escaped to Solvunn after jailbreak, so I am always happy for her to also be a resource to any newbies!

CR YOU DON'T WANT: I don't have anything in specific!

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

➤ Her ongoing project has been to learn more/get closer to the old gods of Solvunn. She has made contact with at least 2 to varying degrees and will continue to push that forward. Likewise she is practicing High Magicks so anyone who is interested in those things, I would love to rope them into ongoing and future plots!
➤ Related to the above, she got a request from one of the old gods to help tend to the land after a recent event. Along those veins it could help with other people who want to start stretching their High Magick prowess!
➤ She has an ability that let's her see into other people's pasts, so if you have a character with a backstory they're not likely to divulge she's a great mechanism for getting some things out in the open! I love using this to help foster CR.
➤ Himeka is teaching conjury magics to those interested! You do not need a background in magical casting to take part, she's happy to help tutor anyone willing.
➤ Her Domain is portable and mutable. But if you want to meet baby dragons and play under the sea, you're welcome to visit at anytime.
➤ Solvunn has become her home so she's big on creating a sense of community for Summoned in the Commune. As such she, Wanda, Nero and now ROCKET are the official/unofficial Welcoming Committee. We will have a Solvunn meet & greet/mingle up this weekend for old and new characters!
➤ Especially important for new characters, as many of the original Summoned have left, she finds it important to share the early-game history of the Summoned. So if you want some early game lore from her POV, she does think it's important for people to know what they're walking into.
➤ Anything sea or fish related. She's on board. She's READY.
➤ Himeka can become a tree. Yes. And though it's just been thematic with her nature alignment it's also funny to spook people. So if anyone wants to incidentally run into her tree self, I'd love it.
➤ She can be gullible and too trusting, so anyone willing to take advantage of that is great too. She's gotten more discerning since her canon update but it's still A Thing.
➤ DRAGON SHIT IS NIGH. Himeka loves dragons. Let her talk to you about dragons. She'll have a Dragons 101 in the Solvunn mingle!

Yes!! Himeka's main god may not be her jam but she definitely prays to all of them. She can def help Haelva find her footing in regards to the gods and high magick. her little baby bird...undead baby bird.

dragon adjacent bUT Claude and Hilda adopted a baby wyvern during the first half of the rift event and might need to pick her brain cause uh...once this thing gets big it could be a Problem

I def want them to meet and talk about magic, Julia's a fanatic about it tbh, and also she may ask her about the gods as she is timidly interested in exploring them more given she's a god herself (but not of here, obviously). Also just two awesome tiny girls unite (Julia is 5'1)

Yess!! You got to me before I could get to you, but I read Julia's bio and I want this CR so bad. Himeka would also be very curious about her godhood and how that relates to Solvunn gods or others... (esp. considering her canonpoint now contains a bit of the Myths of the Realm questline.)

Himeka does magic fairly casually and around anyone, so it could easily come up at the mingle if Julia catches her doing it? But TBH we know Himeka will also just walk up to Julia as a new Summoned like HELLO you're one of us now please take this sandwich and tell me your story.

Also Himeka is very tall, what are you talking about.

Yeah Julia's been using magic freely too, it's been exciting for her to be able to do that here, like HUZZAH MAGIC EVERYWHERE. They definitely will have an easy reason to meet up. She's not going around telling everyone her god status because it's awkward but her aether is probably insanely potent.

HELL YEA she should be PROUD Of it. I love that they overlap with elemental and healing magicks too... like. BONDING time is gonna be great. Himeka will definitely have to introduce Julia to her fungus god friend. I feel like he would jive with her a lot!

Yes!! Himeka really likes Aerith so she will definitely do whatever she can to be for her while she's in Solvunn, gods and everything else. She definitely was #concerned when she disappeared before and feels like Vimorskas would like to see her again as well.

And she will absolutely rescue Dante. Will it be for the right reasons? Of course!!! Healers only use rescue to help, certainly not to yank people off the edge of the platform.

I already adore our threads with Himeka and Claire, and boy do I have a magical teenager who needs guidance! She's super different from Claire in that she already has magic and can use it pretty well, but it's a big adjustment from using her magic from Etheria to relying on the Singularity.

From what I know of Adora, I think she would remind Himeka of one of her favorite people from back home...another headstrong and brave and stubborn teenage girl. So yes, I'm positive Himeka would adore her! (Pun intended). And as with anything she's definitely love to learn about the world that Adora comes from
