Welcome to our OOC intro and CR meme. We encourage you all to get out there, plot, and introduce yourself!

There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game. Players are free to introduce their characters however they like.

◎ Nocwich is OPEN every first weekend of each month. Characters can get some cross-faction CR here! Beyond those 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and outside of game events, characters from opposing nations will only be able to see each other in the Horizon.

◎ A Conclave vote is being held in relation to Event #15, prior to the OOC Plotting Post. Please submit your vote by October 11th. New arrivals may participate!

◎ The OOC Plotting is scheduled for the 13th of this month, while the IC Event Log is scheduled for the 15th. This month's event will require the Summoned to make an important choice to help save a vital ecosystem.

Geralt has sort of set some wheels in motion (against his better judgment?? despite his better judgment?? who knows, but he did it) re: politics with the free cities and thorne, and i think given recent events in the mines, he's beginning to trust claude more (currently, the people involved are jaskier, sam, istredd, and thancred. there is no murder happening YET but. who can say).

if you wanted to be folded into all that lmk! he'd be willing to talk to claude more than others for sure, esp since claude has been repping for a few months alongside sam and geralt trusts sam's judge of character, too.

I ABSOLUTELY WOULD, YES 👀 Also murder happening now or in the future is something Claude wouldn't bat at eye at, sometimes it just Has To Happen

I'd be completely up for this and this sounds like a great group! It actually occurred to me while reading this that Geralt is one of the few Summoned Claude told a fair amount to about Fodlan's war from his time when it comes to the actual details. I do think that, assuming it has a way to come up which it likely would, it'd be a natural extension for him to also bring up that beyond just winning the war he didn't start, another goal he'd had all along was to greatly change Fodlan before he went home to do the same thing there... so he might just have a little experience with that...

Yes! Claude is also someone Geralt hinted at about the political situation at home, so there's something there for sure.

Geralt's main goal is just preserving some balance in the world so they don't end up with one empire crushing the continent because a couple of people got a little too hasty with a coup and left a power vacuum in their wake. He doesn't care abt the kingdoms so much as what the outcome means for Ciri.

Since Claude is likely entering the negotiations with the dragons, that could kickstart some kind of political topic? Geralt would ask about that meeting since he'd want to know how it went.

Yes! That'd be the perfect in for that conversation since it's been a minute since they discussed the bigger workings of Abraxas.

I think at this point Claude's concerns are mostly focused on the further potential for war and what it'd mean for the Summoned plus the Free Cities citizens, mostly due to the aftermath of that war in Fodlan and how three nations being at odds with each other feels far too familiar to him. A shift in power would interest him for the possibilities there, but so would securing something better (or relatively so, for whatever that means for everyone involved) all around when it comes to the current state of things. He could definitely give some input there for the stabilization part in terms of putting someone in power to keep it stable whenever they get to discussing that as well.

There's definitely a lot of good potential here, and I'm excited!!

Yesss perfect, this all sounds like great potential. Geralt is not in any way politically inclined but he's realized he can't stay out of it if he wants to protect his family, so he's turning to people he can trust to do what needs to be done while he takes care of the stuff he is good at (killing things).

I will see what I can pop up for them during the event when the plotting post drops!! It might not all come out right away but we can definitely lay the groundwork.

It really does! Claude doesn't mind stepping into that political role, even if this time it comes with the complications (to him) of not having a nation's resources to back it up with like before, but that just adds to the intrigue of it all for him. Nothing like having a bunch of moving pieces in everything just to make it all the more interesting.

And I'm here for the groundwork!! It makes total sense that it wouldn't be something all in one convo since considering The Topic(s) there and what they involve, but I think we should be able to get things off to a good start for sure!
