Welcome to our OOC intro and CR meme. We encourage you all to get out there, plot, and introduce yourself!

There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game. Players are free to introduce their characters however they like.

Since the upcoming event is fairly large, we've provided an EVENT BRAINSTORM section for new arrivals to receive offers from existing players, who can invite them into their AU histories and help establish potential connections.

Only new characters may fill out the form for this section, but anyone can reply with suggestions. We encourage current players to reply with ways new characters can be incorporated into the event!

Important Notices

This month contains some important in-game occurrences. Be sure to review the details below!

IC Items

◎ Beginning APRIL 6, shortly after the new arrivals, the storm worsens. Lightning now strikes the ground, and heavy rains have led to flooding - including in the normally dry and arid Free Cities. Conditions have grown from troublesome to outright dangerous. While the major cities are better protected, the effects can still be felt. There will be a mounting death toll (moderate), and water damage to homes and businesses.

◎ Portals between cities are CLOSED in every territory. Because of the instabilities, portal travel has been shut down. Characters can still travel via horse or wagon, but authorities suggest limiting any long journeys due to dangerous weather conditions.

◎ Nocwich is CLOSED this month. Characters from opposing territories will only be able to see each other in the Horizon, which continue to undergo some disturbances.

OOC Items

◎ The upcoming event requires players to sign up for an assignment. Please read this post for more details. New players are encouraged to participate! Signing up only requires putting down your character's name.

◎ We recognize the next event has a lot of elements to consider, especially for new players. We encourage you to contact us if you're feeling a little lost! The goal for our events is to let players be as creative as possible. If you have an idea but are unsure of how to implement it or what the limits are, we're happy to guide you.

A Look Ahead

The OOC Plotting is scheduled for the 12th of this month, while the IC Event Log is scheduled for the 17th. The event will involve a glimpse into the future and will go until May 10.

We have some climatic plots planned into summer due to the domino effect that began with Event #17. However, to make sure characters (and players) have some room to breathe, May will be a quiet month with pieces moving in the background before things pick up once more in June.

THEY SHOULD... would Aloy want to help organize the memorial ceremony? Once we have full deets on how it goes down, Wanda and Rocket will also be setting one up. We were thinking of doing one in Solvunn and in the Horizon for his cross-canon CR.

YAASS! I took a peek at her blessing and affliction. What are you thinking of for her abilities and whatnot? Maybe we can find some overlapping!

Even with that, Himeka is a god who likes to travel and wander so I imagine she and Aloy could have crossed paths often enough or even adventured?

SHE WOULD HELP!! she wishes she didn't have to! but it will not be the first time she buried a friend 8,)

Definitely leaning into nature-type stuff for her, with an emphasis on keeping everything in Balance. Probably she's going to get really mad at ppl who blow holes in the earth bc then she has to come by and put everything back the way it's supposed to be.

I really like the idea of them adventuring together! Aloy will pretend like it's all business but perhaps she enjoys. the company.

RIP...shakes Aloy's hand. Himeka would like to unlock more of Aloy's backstory. I think Himeka can relate a lot to it but she isn't the type to pry. (Protagonist privileges of everyone just telling you shit, amirite?)

She's so valid!! Himeka would be happy to help her repair the land as I think even though that's not her direct blessing, it's still something that's important to her. (Also maybe if Himeka's affliction accidentally fucks something up, Aloy may have to fix it after the fact?)

The power of friendship supersedes everything. Himeka would 100% just see Aloy and insert herself like "Hey friend where you going!"
