◎ Overview

When submitting your Activity Check, please keep in mind the following:

◎ A minimum of two threads with a brief summary for each thread is required.

◎ While there's no minimum comment count, Abraxas is a plot-centered game that requires a degree of thread progression. We expect threads to contain reasonable interactivity with other players. We may request supplementary proofs if interactivity is insufficient. For example, one reply to each proof posted late in the month, or early in the month then dropped, would not be enough. Previous activity patterns will be taken into account, as well.

◎ Backdated threads (from the previous month only) are acceptable, but the comments linked as proofs must take place during the current month. Although both proofs can be backdated, you're encouraged to submit at least one thread started in the current month whenever possible.

◎ TDM threads, network threads, and inbox threads are acceptable, but must not make up the total of both proofs (i.e. both proofs can't consist of only TDM threads). Additionally, at least one proof should be a log thread. Both proofs cannot be network-style comment spam.

◎ All players are expected to reply, including if you've submitted a hiatus. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from posting your AC, you may have another player comment with a proxy submission on your behalf.

Please note the criteria when submitting event threads for Activity Check.
You can request an Event Gain for this event and will have to the end of June's Activity Check to do so. Event Gains will work slightly differently this time, so please review the information. Additionally, you must have at least one thread taking place in the 3-month timespan of the event to qualify.
Regarding the physical and power aspects of the Event Gain above, you may request both at the same time since they are packaged together as part of Event #18.
If your character is new, you may only request an Event Gain or a Horizon Gain per Activity Check round, but it's your choice which one you take first.

Physical Gain from Event: I would like Istredd to keep his starry skin look that he had during the event but only in his veins, and while it is most of the time not visible, when he feels strong emotions/the blood is pumping from activity in his veins, it glows and becomes more visible.

Power gain: I am waiting on this one!

Notable actions: Before the crater, Istredd threw their usual Thorne welcome mingled encouraged everyone to help out at Nott. Istredd was in Nott when the storm became worse and he was forced into a portal to go back safely to the castle. He did not fight back when they were brought to the crater although he did beg the guards to let the teenagers stay behind, and he walked with Lucifer who did have to be tied up.

In the event, Istredd made a gigantic endless library with knowledge from literally everywhere in the world, flew with dragons, tried his best to be a god but was kind of distracted a lot, and resisted waking up.

Power gain: I would like Jesper to have the ability to shapeshift into his crow form from the event.

Physical gain: After spending most of the plot in the Feywilds, I would like Jesper to have Fey ears now to reflect that, please.

Notable actions: Jesper fought back when being dragged to the crater and had to be restrained! In the event he mostly vibed, enjoyed being a God of Love (Cherished), and hung out with his friends.

Power Gain: I would like to ask for Shapeshifting as that was a major part of Julia's power in the future, and it also is derived from Reynard's god seed that is in her. Julia can shapeshift into people and maintain their form for 15 minutes to start and then eventually up to three hours with mastery. She cannot make an entire new form; it has to be someone she's seen and copies. She has none of their memories but does sound like them. This will be primarily only NPCs although if there is ever a point in time she might do it with another PC, I will get full permission from them first.

Physical gain: I would like Julia to have permanently red eyes please.

Notable actions: Before the crater, Julia was trying very hard to stop the winds from wrecking Endrborrin's shrine and spent a lot of time there holding onto her flowers and fighting off the storm. Unfortunately, she was not strong enough to do anything when it got significantly worse and she willingly went to the crater.

In the event, she was either in the Feywilds hanging with their people, or wandering human streets shapeshifting and pretending to be someone else. She became a rather harsh goddess known more for trickery. She did awaken and tried to awaken others.

Power or physical gain: Horizon - Illusory Script. The spell will enable Heather to "encrypt" her written messages which would appear to others who read them to be in an unknown/magical language. At first, she would only be able to keep the messages private to herself but as she practices and learns the spell better (or the "encryption") she'd be able to choose specific people who could automatically read her message. The messages could also be "decrypted" by de-spelling her magic (which at first would be weak but would grow in strength with practice and use).

Physical: Scars on his back gained during the AU when he subdued Nightmare Jack and his moths. It will look like a trail of moths burned across his shoulder - their patterns will mysteriously have shifted each time he looks at it.

Power: A lesser version of his AU Blessing, Devotion that he can use to enhance someone else's power (say like bumping them up 1 spell level or extending the duration, dependent on the ability). This will only work on people he has strong CR with/ties to. It will also temporarily let the person he's using it on become flooded with his own feelings of faith, either in them or his god.

Notable actions: Bikes went missing. Bikes were ridden. After the portals had to be closed, Kyle took on whatever emergency deliveries he could to the best of his ability, using his own transport powers.

Power: Lesser version of his AU Blessing Immunity. He can offer 1 person a day enhanced resistance to a physical ailment/infection to the effect of lowering a dangerous fever, giving them more energy or the ability to keep food/drink down. It will be a temporary reprieve of the symptoms for 24 hours. The ability will not work a second time in a row on that person for that particular illness after the first 24 hours are over, but can be used again in the future if they find themselves ill again.

Druid Grove
An early stage of the Druid spell (w/o the long list of additional effects it's probably closer to a lvl 3 spell than lvl 6?):
10 minute casting/24 hour duration
You invoke the spirits of nature to protect an area outdoors or underground. The area can be as small as a 30-foot cube or as large as a 90-foot cube. Buildings and other structures are excluded from the affected area. If you cast this spell in the same area every day for a year, the spell lasts until dispelled.

When you cast this spell, you can specify creatures as friends who are immune to the effects. You can also specify a password that, when spoken aloud, makes the speaker immune to these effects. The entire warded area radiates magic. A dispel magic cast on the area, if successful, removes only one of the following effects, not the entire area. That spell’s caster chooses which effect to end. Only when all its effects are gone is this spell dispelled.

Currently there is only the effect, so it's easy to dispel:
Grasping Undergrowth. You can fill any number of 5-foot squares with grasping weeds and vines, as if they were affected by an entangle spell. To a creature immune to this effect, the weeds and vines feel soft and reshape themselves to serve as temporary seats or beds.

With the idea that over a lot of time and genuine work with the spell, he can add to the effects.

Physical (Event) - N/A

Notable actions: Resisted the initial Singularity Roundup to get his own locked carriage. He broke the arm of one guard and roughed him up some, but was familiar with the other guard, and being reminded by Istredd that they were unprepared to flee Thorne this soon, he chose not to commit Murder. After being restrained he slid into despondency, even on his walk to the crater. He will not cause a problem post-event.

Thread 1 Link + Summary: Out of habit, regardless of it being a mentalplane, Travis rolls up to the Horizon gas station and reunites with the regulars and meets some weird guy.

Helping Hands
3/day two arms of black goo covering bone pull from Travis's back. He has no actual control as to when this can happen, more of a subconscious thought like "I need to grab this thing" "oh god someone is attacking me."

Each time tires him out more, the third time exhausting him completely.

Notable actions: Helped batten down the hatches during the Solvunn mingle and goat wrangled with Michael. Gave a kid (goat) just a little mead. It's probably fine ~~according to the Internet.~~

Regarding the size of the spell, Lucifer can cast it up to 20 cubic feet to begin with with a gradual increase to 40 cubic feet with the caveat that the larger it is, the weaker the spell will be. The spell will have a duration of 12 hours at the start and may increase to 24 over time.

Additional effects may require a new event gain, or he may learn and practice a specific spell to add to the area of effect.
