There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community, signal boosted on Plurk and listed on the Calendar! Please be aware that Event #6, scheduled for the 18th of this month, will offer opportunities for characters from different factions to meet up in a (mostly, and temporarily) friendly environment...

ABOUT YOU: I'm Dee, I'm a huge book, comics, movies, tv, pretty much all pop culture nerd. You may know my capseroo capping journal where I post a lot of screencaps for people to make icons from. I have four cats who are beautiful and awful and I work at a college. I also play FFXIV a lot over on Zalera Crystal.

CHARACTER NAME: Jesper Fahey
CANON: Grishaverse- specifically from Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom books.
SIGN: The Wheel of Fortune
FACTION: Free Cities

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Jesper is a sharpshooting criminal teenager from the gang-filled streets of Ketterdam. He's friendly, extroverted, seemingly unflappable and endlessly confident, which means of course he's a giant mess underneath the swagger. I have an Abraxas post for him so you can see the app and info page. Jesper is also a Grisha, description can be seen more on there but the easy summary is he is a literal perfect shot because he uses his abilities to telekinetically move bullets where he wants them to go. He doesn't tell people about this though. Due to not using his powers actively or training in them, Jesper is an adrenaline junkie and gambling addict and he can't sit still. He recently decided to give up gambling and try to work on his issues and his powers, but he is very vulnerable to not learning his lesson as soon as there's a set back. Despite his bright smile and warm nature, do not be fooled, he is very much a maker of trouble and mischief. I can't even say 'but he's a good kid!' because he has a good heart but you know. Criminal conman.
CR YOU WANT: I WANT IT ALL. Seriously. Jesper is super outgoing and he will try to make friends with pretty much anyone he comes across. He comes across as older because of his background but he really is a youngster and could use some moral-type people to stop him from going down the darkest of his possible paths. Or who knows, people who encourage that instead. Eventually I would love him connecting with people who have powers they use actively, whether in their canon or since coming here, because that's an area he's purposely ignored and he really needs to stop that in order to grow. But really. Come at him. Be aware that he flirts with EVERYONE no matter the age, gender, or species, and he doesn't currently mean it because he's in love with a boy with a stupid face who is not here.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: I honestly cannot think of any right now!
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Jesper is currently a gang member without a gang. He is typically the right hand man of the man in charge, his BFF Kaz, but he recently decided to go clean (ish, sometimes he still does shady shit) as the live-in boyfriend of a rich boy. Jesper is usually a follower and he will be looking for people to hang onto pretty quickly in this unfamiliar and confusing situation. He will probably start asking around about guns ASAP and then willing to mercenary himself to causes. He likes action-involved jobs and will probably volunteer for things that seem risky.

ANYTHING ELSE?: My fanvid about him. This is technically from Shadow and Bone which is not canon to the books, but I still think you get the general idea of his character and energy in it. :D

A quick note: I have the worst timing ever and will be out of town for the 18th-26th, but I will be bringing my computer with me so jumping into things as soon as I can when the event goes up!

Hi Dee! I’m pretty canonblind, but Jesper seems like a lot of fun. I have this guy here who is basically the exact opposite in personality, but I’ll be looking to throw him towards new Free Cities CR. Sephiroth will also be looking to put himself to use, which usually includes more action-y endeavors, so they could find some common ground in that, too.

Hi! I know Sephiroth well I'm a big FF7 fan, they are very opposite but Jesper has never let that stop him. His best friend/boss is the most serious and grumpy person in their world (and dangerous and violent) lol. So he reacts to that type of person warmly and will probably try to make friends anyway.

Oh that’s perfect then lmao. I’ll look for an opportunity to tag you! Sephiroth can still get along with those who are overly friendly (looks at Zack), it might just take a hot minute for him to warm up to ppl, but I think it’d be fun!

I would love that! I haven't started the Dreamer Trilogy yet (I have read the Raven Cycle) but I hear Hennessy's an amazing character. Jesper's going to be eager to make friends, he doesn't do great being solo lol. And no worries it's my pleasure to help get more icons out there for people.

I can see Samus being begrudgingly enamored with Jesper and try to stop him from going down the wrong path but she is also a very, "do as I say, not as I do" kind of person. It might be fun to see where they go?

I think they can at the very least bond over guns and weaponry and she'd find his abilities fascinating.
