There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community, signal boosted on Plurk and listed on the Calendar! Please be aware that Event #6, scheduled for the 18th of this month, will offer opportunities for characters from different factions to meet up in a (mostly, and temporarily) friendly environment...

Well then HELLO VIKTOR, Sypha is the least cagey mage you'll likely ever meet - she doesn't believe in secreting knowledge away, and her whole culture is built around Open Source Everything for the betterment of humanity. They're periodically accused of witchcraft for it, but their hearts are in the right place.

However she's from a world with limited tech (1400s earth), so many 'basic' scientific concepts are new to her!

they can have a nice cultural exchange...she teaches him about magic, he teaches her about electricity being a thing and also metaphysics??

Pure nerds who have recently been forced to reckon with the sometimes-not-very-altruistic-application of their knowledge by others. Poor kids.

I mean, she recently had her socks blown off by the concept of EVOLUTION. And when were Newtonian physics codified? The 1600s? Oh dear.
