There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community, signal boosted on Plurk and listed on the Calendar! Please be aware that Event #6, scheduled for the 18th of this month, will offer opportunities for characters from different factions to meet up in a (mostly, and temporarily) friendly environment...

I'm down to wait until it's a better time for new CR starting up to get a thread with you, but I'd love for them to meet eventually! It might be fun if Thancred hears rumors and then meets Yennefer sometime after the fact and is like ???, depending on what those rumors are, etc. But yeah, just penciling you in for this at some point!

I ABSOLUTELY want to find a good time for them to meet. I know literally. absolutely nothing about this man or the canon but yes.

It's absolutely possible that he's going to hear rumors about her around the castle! rumors include but are not limited to: she was originally jailed and then when she protected ambrose from an attack (with some of the others), she was given an apology and welcomed into the castle/court. since then she's made herself well known as an extremely powerful sorceress with an incredible amount of power. she has a title (!!!) and also might have some special connection to the queen (ohhhh secretive).

it'll be a little strange because those rumors atm don't super match up to the way she seems to almost be avoiding crowds and new people right now BUT she can be found. if anything he'll probably see her around the castle for a bit before they meet, but I definitely want to see what they end up doing. c: this could be very fun.

OH MAN let me try to give you a very basic rundown but he's from a fantasy canon (though it does have some level of technology) and is part of a group that is... sorta like the Avengers in that they are dedicated to PROTECTING THE REALM but they're not really superheroes so much as a group of like-minded individuals that want to protect the world from a whole variety of different threats. He is the charming pretty boy of the team but also works himself really hard and has gotten himself into trouble in the past because of that, he's both a rogue type and a tank type because of reasons annnd he recently became an adoptive dad so ....... OK that wasn't very brief but there you go!

All of these rumors are very helpful and gathering intel is sort of Thancred's thing, so I'm going to assume he heard some, if not all of this before they meet. He will definitely find it odd that she's being so avoidant based on all that and that might make him curious enough to approach her at some point. 8) Or just try to casually end up where she is, he didn't plan this at all what are you talking about

OHHHHHHHHHHH i like the sound of this one yes. he's part of the same little group as estinein, yeah? cause if yennefer finds out about. that. LOL. it'll be a fun convo that's for sure. but tbh depending on how their first conversation goes I do think thancred and yennefer could get along so???? don't pick a fight bro and we should be good.

OH YEAH THAT'S TOTALLY SUBTLE AND NOT AT ALL PLANNED but also might be the best case scenario to finally get them together so that might just need to be what happens

he and estinien are part of the same group, yes! although estinien is a much more recent addition to the group whereas thancred has been with them for a long while. i did hear there was some drama with estinien and yennefer but i haven't gotten all the deets yet, though i get the feeling it'll come up at some point even if he's gone now... : )

YEAH WE CAN PLAN ON THAT for whenever it makes sense, i just want to thread with you 😭
