There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community, signal boosted on Plurk and listed on the Calendar! Please be aware that Event #6, scheduled for the 18th of this month, will offer opportunities for characters from different factions to meet up in a (mostly, and temporarily) friendly environment...

CHARACTER NAME: Dr. Leonard McCoy
CANON: Star Trek (AOS)
SIGN: The Lovers
FACTION: Solvunn

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Prickly Southern Space Doctor & Chief Medical Officer of the USS Enterprise. Gruff, kinda pessimistic curmudgeon with a fear of space and a heart of gold. Generally pacifist, loves small animals, doesn't give a shit about pesky things like faction borders if it interferes with his work.

Is it dangerous? He's out. Is it dangerous AND people need medical care? He's there, preferably yesterday, what's wrong with you???

CR YOU WANT: All of it. Fellow medical pros, magical peeps, brash loud shounen/shoujo idiots to chase after, drinking buddies, people to mentor, people to look after and mend, anyone who might be up for debates with a guy from a post-scarcity utopian Earth and thinks these conflicts are pointless, idek sky's the limit here. Have you seen his crew? He'll take all-comers.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: I'm open to negative cr because, well, he's him, but I don't want it to dominate his cr 👍

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Leonard is antsy to see the world beyond the Settlement, and he's doubly interested in adding more to his medical skill by studying healing magic. Eventually I'd love to engineer a way to eventually get him into either Thorne or the Free Cities.

In the meantime, I'd just really like to deepen his cr in and outside of Solvunn. Presently he's doctoring all over the primary settlement, and upping his compounding abilities by working with an apothecary, so if any character needs some looking after, he's there! He'll also be doing some Horizon visits (and I'll finally get his page up this month as well), so if your character isn't in Solvunn and you'd like him to stop by/navigate your desolate lava fields/bring a peach cobbler(??) just let me know.

Lastly, just since this has come up & I've been reworking his info pages, I'm totally cool with his being fourth-walled, if your character is Trek-familiar.

Emet-Selch is largely capable of seeing to his own needs should he get injured, but if Bones wants to meet someone who's familiar with both magic and technology I'd be down to make that happen!

Awesome! If Bones turns up anywhere on the Solvunn mingle I can toss Emet that way! Otherwise I'll keep an eye out for places where they might be able to cross paths.

I would love to grab McCoy at some point, if he wanders through the Horizon with a peach cobbler. Geralt is interested in what a Solvunn may be up to so he'd tap into anyone who seems like they lean towards not, you know, starting any wars.

Heck yeah, I'm down. He was at the Dimming as a field medic, so he's especially not interested in fighting for anyone tyvm, but he does want to know what's going on elsewhere. Do you have anything I can toss him at for Horizon shenanigans?

I do have his inbox, but! If you wanted a specific starter I can also put one up after this week. Otherwise feel free to jump in there with anything.

If you want something to kickstart them off rather than from scratch, sam could've briefly mentioned meeting another medic at the dimming to geralt or along those lines.

heyyyy! I love Wanda, sure. He has a grand total of one magic power to his name, thanks to the Horizon, and it's just the ability to sanitize stuff. And people. So he'll appreciate the help.

hi there!! honestly, i would love for a chance to toss peter parker bones' way! he's a curious kid who would love to talk space, science and medicine might be a skill he'd love to learn more of! i'm starting him off in cadens, but perhaps if there is a horizon opportunity or otherwise, i'd love to snag it :D

oh gosh, Peter would remind him of Chekov so much, yes, absolutely. If he wants to brush up on his first aid skills, Bones would be happy to teach him, too.

I think the upcoming event will have a chance for folks to mingle, so they could definitely meet there! Otherwise I might set up a network post for him, just doing some info-seeking, so Peter would be welcome to hit him up through that, too!

Edelgard would be interested in meeting a doctor like Bones, and finding out more about what he knows about Abraxian medicine and magic. He might be able to help her with a blood condition of hers, but the initial meet-ups would have to be via Horizon.
