There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community, signal boosted on Plurk and listed on the Calendar! Please be aware that Event #6, scheduled for the 18th of this month, will offer opportunities for characters from different factions to meet up in a (mostly, and temporarily) friendly environment...

Oh yes, Zhou Zishu grew up in a martial arts sect with 80-some siblings, so that is a very familiar feeling. Clearly they need to get drinks and bitch some time or something.
