There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community, signal boosted on Plurk and listed on the Calendar! Please be aware that Event #6, scheduled for the 18th of this month, will offer opportunities for characters from different factions to meet up in a (mostly, and temporarily) friendly environment...

It's the same in reverse, where Thancred works with a lot of magic-users and is used to that dynamic, so I'd love to send them on a mission together! Assuming that he can get access to a gunblade and cartridges, he also usually has those magically imbued by magic-using friends of his, so it'd be cute if Stephen could learn how to do that for him, if he'd be so inclined.
