Mod Communications
If you have an idea related to the event plot, communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request
Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

IC Exchanges
Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.
Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.
Start an IC exchange
Using the provided form is optional. Begin a thread freeform if you prefer.

Investigations
Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.
Interact with an Investigation

Character Name: Lenore
Request: Lenore's extremely interested in the arrival of Anastasia Rhett and whatever is happening in that office. She'll be carrying supplies and books to help the mages, but once Anastasia arrives she'll be more often taking a route that goes past that office, slowing down or stopping entirely to try and overhear conversations. If she manages to cross paths with one or other of the siblings in this process, she absolutely intends to offer help and charm and a carefully measured amount of flattery, wanting to ingratiate herself with one or both--though she's much more interested in Anastasia than her brother.
Thread: This is included in Lenore's top level in hopes of teaming up on the investigation.
What might she (and/or a potential thread partner) overhear?
Could I do ... either a dice roll or an NPC thread or something with Anastasia? I don't know what is sensible to ask.
This event is so cool and I am awed by all the work and engagement you've put into it, thank you for all your efforts!

Because Lenore has yet to make any formal connections around the Castle, neither Ambrose or Anastasia will recognize her or know her well enough to grant a real meeting. However, it would be possible to see them in the halls.
If Lenore tries to speak to Ambrose Rhett, he's unlikely to stop to speak to her though he may briskly give her an impersonal thank you as he's walking past. Ambrose's disposition is generally curt and dismissive, so this is nothing unusual.
Anastasia is somewhat warmer, but she is also quite busy. She will at least stop to learn Lenore's name, and will tell Lenore that although she doesn't have time to talk, she hopes all of the Summoned will return safely. She will direct Lenore to one of the apprentice mages who is most in need of the supplies Lenore is carrying, and wish her luck before moving on.

Player Name: Marlowe
Character Name: Lenore
Request: Lenore has a theory
it could be bunniesafter chatting with Lucifer in this thread where he shows her the sketch of the star and keyhole symbol. Since it looks like an arcana but isn't, she suggested to him that it might be the Ace of Coins (pentacles). After this conversation, she'd like to head to the library to research anything she can find about the Minor Arcana in Abraxas. Priority being 1) does Abraxas have some version of the minor arcana, 2) what do the sigils look like for the different suits, 3) general lore overview on the minor arcana, 4) if she's right and the symbol matches up to any of the suits, deep dive on that particular suit and/or that particular card as relevant.Thank you!

2. The sigils are designed similar to the Major Arcana, using elements related to the specific arcanum.
3. The Minor Arcana, unlike the Major Arcana, contains no reference to personality traits. It is simply used as part of a deck to enhance spells when performing Academic Magic.
4. It bears some resemblance to the Page of Pentacles, but there are some different elements. The design of the Page of Pentacles across all sources is consistent, so this is not a case of various artistic interpretations. She will not be able to find the symbol that's being seen used in any written sources or lore.
