Mod Communications
If you have an idea related to the event plot, communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request
Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

IC Exchanges
Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.
Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.

Investigations
Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.

Character Name: Nero
Other characters involved: Aloy, Steve
Action: Post-ritual (as all three of them are going through it), and having heard the familiar references to the gods (especially on Nero's end), the three of them are going to try to approach the mysterious acolyte. Nero will, upfront, ask her if she's Josselyn, or if they know where she is. They are not there to fight (yet) and don't approach with any weapons.
Thread: + The three of them were on Josselyn's trail when they were abducted (ongoing).
+ Nero undergoing the ritual with Castiel.
+ Aloy undergoing the ritual with Shepard.
+ Steve undergoing the ritual (OTA).
Notes: He will offer the charm he found when they were investigating the forests (that was not taken when he was abducted, mentioned in the mod plot post). He doesn't know if it's hers or not, but he knows it belonged to someone who was taken.

Regarding Josselyn, she does not tell him where she is but nor does she pretend she doesn't know the name. The Mysterious Acolyte will introduce herself as Hydnellia.
She appears to recognize the charm, then returns it to Nero. He may notice that it looks as though it belongs to the set of charms she carries with her. She tells him that the shrines in this room, like all shrines, need an offering more than she does.

Nero's is, "So, when did you do it, Hydnellia? Go through the ritual?" based on the similarities between her and the others succumbing.
Steve's is, "What do we have to do to make you stop taking more people?"
Aloy is just going to be a menacing, quiet third party.

Afterwards, the three of them may consider examining the charm and the shrine to see what she means about the offering.

The base of the shrine unlocks to reveal a clouded crystal. Look closely, and they can see that the cloud within is moving and shifting, as if it contains a very dense mist that can be released if the crystal is broken - possibly a similar mist to what the Acolytes use to shroud themselves.
Examining the other shrines indicate that they've also started bleeding.
