This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request

Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

Submit notable actions that are likely to gain attention from other players, such as fights or disturbances.

IC Exchanges

Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.

Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.

Investigations

Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.

Henry will be able to pick up a small hint of the hivemind consciousness in the fungi that grows. Following the ritual, if he tries again he'll sense it the strongest. The feeling will almost seem insistent on overtaking his consciousness, sucking him in to be at one with them. He might have to struggle to break his mind free.

Would Henry be able to sense if there is a "control center" somewhere within this hivemind, or will he be too busy trying to not become a pod person? 8')

While he won't sense that there is a control center, he can sense that this strange vegetation runs across the floor itself, beneath it, and up the high walls, suggesting that there are areas of the cave not being accessed or that currently can't be seen.

When he frees his mind, he may be drawn towards the large boulder that appears in the room following the ritual.

WELL of course he will check out the large boulder then! Anything of note? Henry would try to inspect it visually first, but then reach out with his mind to see exactly what is drawing him in, if anything.

If Henry approaches the boulder, he'll notice that he's being drawn to what lies beyond the boulder rather than the rock itself. It will continue to shimmer a bit, similar to the wall that appears to them following the ritual.

To learn more, he might need to shift or move it, but this will require the efforts of more than one person, and possibly more than one investigative effort depending on what characters attempt and how many people are working together.

You can begin an investigation here alone or with other characters.

i'd be down to join if it's not too much. he can add his remaining vampire strength to the mix, or his ability to see well in the dark (although it may be spotty bc effects). either way, i'd love for him to join!

Love it!! Additionally, Castiel’s player offered to let Louis borrow Cas’ anti-monster shroud, of which he got from a shrine here. It disguises scent and presence from monsters in the cave. He will have it for this.
