Mod Communications
If you have an idea related to the event plot, communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request
Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

Notable Actions
Submit notable actions that are likely to gain attention from other players, such as fights or disturbances.

IC Exchanges
Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.
Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.
Start an IC exchange
Using the provided form is optional. Begin a thread freeform if you prefer.

Investigations
Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.

Character Name: Himeka Sui
Request: A couple NPC interactions (where available with mod time) and a little side quest, perhaps?
1.) She would first reach out to The Council regarding the missing Summoned. It's here she would mention that she's aware that people have gone missing here and there (mostly from the Tertiary Settlement), but this is the first time she's aware of Summoned going missing en masse. Out of the Council Rowan would probably be the easiest if she can only meet one-on-one.
She's looking to gather resources on the Solvunn side of things for the Spared Summoned in assistance with finding their Lost friends. (Easier and SAFER ways to travel to patrol between and within various settlements, assistance from mages if possible, etc.) She'd also like to ask if they feel that Josselyn has any differing opinions on the Summoned. (The fact that this is happening around the same time as Josselyn's pulling back from the council when it's her settlement that has had the long-term issues is suspicious.)
2.) She'd also like to reach out to Osana in Ikorr whom she met as a delegate. Himeka rather liked her! She knows that Nocwich in general prefers to stay neutral in conflicts between the factions and would like to thank her (and others) for playing mediator. In this she'd stress this is a Summoned issue rather than a faction issue and ask if the sap they provided to Solvunn could also be available to other factions as a means to assist in first-aid in both scouting but also WHEN (she believes when...probably) they can find the Lost and treat them.
She'd definitely like to have this meeting without the Council present if possible to try and gauge how Ikorr may view the situation. If Osana had any insight on why she thinks Summoned would suddenly disappear or if she's aware of any powers that could do it so easily too.
3.) Lastly, she'd like to try and make an appeal again to one of the Old Gods. In particular I was hoping she could go visit the shrine that she and Aerith had offered the caskets to the previous year. When she prayed to it, Himeka did hear whispers in acknowledgment and learned the name Vimorskas. When she asked Winifred about it, it sounded like Vimorskas was a god that wasn't much worshipped these days (unsurprising given the state of the shrine), but Himeka still thought it was telling that this was a shrine that they chose regardless. She's curious if this god can be asked to help in some way.
Ideally I'd like for her to go with at least one (undetermined) companion from Solvunn to the shrine for more plot engagement! She doesn't have caskets this time, so instead she'd offer up her own aether (aka. life force & magic stores) as an offering before trying to pray for guidance or assistance. Unsure this would lead to anything but she'd give it a shot! She'd likely do this with or without council approval, but she would bring it up to them for transparency's sake. (It's also a bit of a trek on foot so if they had mounts available if this is cool that'd be awesome... I remember giant wooly goats whom I adored last time.)

2. While Ikorr is not yet as involved on the world stage as Luna and continue to prefer to keep to themselves, Osanna will grant Himeka a meeting since they have spoken before. She considers them on good terms. Himeka will receive an invitation to Ikorr, where they will meet privately and less formally at one of Ikorr's famous blood wine bars. You can begin a meeting under the IC Exchange at any time and reply to us with a link!
3. Himeka can return to the shrine. Vimorskas will be happy to see her, and he will reveal his full form to her in a vision flash. Her companion can also see the old god's form if they bring an offering to the shrine. His aura continues to be warm and giving.
Himeka will continue to see more visions, one that portrays an area of decay and corruption in the swamps. The wildlife is also disrupted. This image will come with a feeling of great sorrow and distress, as if Vimorskas is extremely upset at the state of the land. He will show her an image of the swamp before the corruption took hold, suggesting he would like her to help restore it.
Finally, she will see some dying mushrooms trapped inside a clay pot. Though they appear to be no different than common fungi, the vision conveys that they are in a lot of pain.
As for Himeka's companion, a shrieking weed will pop up from the earth by the shrine. However, it will not begin to scream. They can bring the weed with them and, should they encounter something worth examining, the weed will give a great scream to alert them. This scream will occur in two places: when they near the corrupted area of the swamp Vimorskas showed Himeka, and when they near Josselyn's house.
You can submit an investigation for each path as you see fit.

Here is the thread for Osanna!
Also really quick in regards to the Council, does Rowan feel that Josselyn ever saw the Summoned differently than the other Councilmembers?

If possible Himeka would like to touch-base with the Council a little later during this first part of the event. She'd like to let them know that they're making progress in tracking down leads and that the Summoned in other factions are assisting as well. With this she'd like to request that they open their borders to other Summoned for a time to assist. She thinks it's be important and beneficial for the Summoned to see things for themselves.
If this seems a little outlandish she may suggest a buddy system as well.

If Thorne and the Free Cities receive a request from their Summoned to visit Solvunn to help investigate, they'll allow it if the person making the request is a trusted Summoned or is accompanying someone who is a trusted Summoned. While we won't require a specific rank for this, essentially, at least one of the Summoned in the group should have a history of contributing to their faction in some manner that proves them as reliable. Officials will also send an escort to make sure everything is above order.
A portal will be available to drop characters off at the edge of Solvunn's borders. Characters can cross over with their escort and continue from there.
The Council will take good care of their guests. The Solvunnites will be somewhat curious since visitors from other nations are unusual, but they'll retain their usual friendliness.

Added: also Viktor made an old-fashioned blender and sunglasses, if he can bring those too just as little gifts.

Jaskier is going specifically to get a tracking signal for Viktor for the most part, but he would also be interested in introducing himself to the Council.

Rowan March and Isar Hart will remember Jaskier. The former will recall Jaskier due to his song about Lyfbringr while Isar will recall their conversation in Nocwich. They'll be quite cordial with him with the typical Solvunn warmth.

What sort of signal would he get from Solvunn, standing near the borders?
