IC Exchanges

Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.

Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.

Investigations

Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.

Request: Concerning the chosen one aspect after the ritual and linking it slightly with his telepathic senses. Would it be possible if he hears voices after the ritual? Be it the ones of those ascending coming in bursts or just something pushing him to convert? And if so, would he get an inkling to where they might be coming from? Would it lead him somewhere? He'd do anything to make the grief go away if he's offered it could. I want to push him and only ever see him trying to convert others if he thinks there's something at stake. For example, maybe the voices tell him he can amend his loss or Claudia (the person he most would give to see again) is on the other side if he succumbs? Just checking in to see if he can go a bit array! I'd understand if it's not possible! He's such a newbie.

Yes, he may hear voices. Some can be of his own making while others could come from the thoughts or internal suffering of the other Summoned who have been taken to the altar to undergo the ritual or who are currently rejecting the process. You can coordinate this with other players if you want!

He may also confuse the voices with the whispers that are coming from the Eerie Shrines. One of the shrines is currently unlocked, a second has been cracked open, and they have all started to bleed. They may undergo further changes which you can track here.

He can interpret this to mean anything you wish that will push him in the direction you're seeking. While technically the voice wouldn't be anyone he recognizes, due to his state it would be completely possible for him to mistakenly believe that he's hearing someone meaningful to him and that they're telling him to do something important. You can choose what that is according to what best suits your plans.

You can additionally submit an investigation if you feel he would try to open the shrine, to obtain one of the charms if he has learned about them, or to otherwise force characters to convert or help him investigate the shrines further.

The mistaken identity bit is so good! I am def interested in aiming for that charm if I can get someone to come along. He'd want to go back to them after looking at them briefly in week one for week two. Thank you!!
