Mod Communications
If you have an idea related to the event plot, communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request
Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

IC Exchanges
Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.
Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.

Using the provided form is optional. Begin a thread freeform if you prefer.

Investigations
Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.

However, they can best make use of the body by observing the time between it dissolving and another creature appearing. They'll notice that for the period in which the body remains, roughly 2-3 hours or so, the creature will be absent. Once the body liquifies and sinks into the ground, another will begin to prowl the ceiling again within less than an hour. This may confirm that the rumors are correct regarding the creature's inability to die using conventional means.
If they want, they can use this information at any point in the future to consider methods to remove the creature for good, such as trapping it in a more permanent manner or killing it using a method that prevents the creature from easily reforming. This will be more difficult, but involving additional characters could improve their chances.
Successfully trapping the creature could allow the Lost to use it to their advantage later, if they want to take that risk.

Thank you for all the details! We're passing it along ICly and seeing if any other characters want to work on trying to perma-trap this thing.

They may also confirm the effect of the claws if they happen to speak to Sylvain or Steve Harrington, who was struck by the creature during a previous attempt to subdue it.
Please disregard the incorrect notation on the original reply that named Claude instead of Steve Harrington.

They're gonna try to shove it in the tunnel that Aloy and Steve found here.
Their main goal is to cave in the tunnel in a way that'll trap the monster in there without killing it, either for good or for at least a few days!! Mostly, we just want to know if this will work and if they'll be able to pull it off with their ragtag band. This is all taking place early in week one, so most of them aren't in awful shape yet.

2. They can find some corpses to use as bait. There are a few captives who are in poor shape or have recently passed. They may need to be discreet or make sure they aren't taking away someone's newly passed friend to be eaten, or a small amount of trouble might arise. The corpses will smell strongly of rotting vegetation, though this might be difficult to discern from the cave's air itself.
Trapping the monster will be possible. They'll need to be sure to block off the other end first before proceeding to lure the creature inside and sealing up the entrance. You can choose to seal the entrance using any reasonable method, but heavy rocks would be best. They can also use thorny vines to create an effect similar to barbed wire to secure the creature further.
Whether the creature stays trapped or if it has any offspring wandering elsewhere remains to be seen. However, for at least the next several days the creature will be absent. They can hear it hissing and growling from inside the tunnel.
Of course, with less competition over its hunting grounds the Bone Serpent may make more frequent appearances. Luckily, his tendrils are easier to contend with than this winged creature so they may consider circumstances marginally improved.
