Mod Communications
If you have an idea related to the event plot, communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request
Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

Notable Actions

IC Exchanges
Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.
Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.
Start an IC exchange
Using the provided form is optional. Begin a thread freeform if you prefer.

Investigations
Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.

2. Pushing the boulder will cause it to slowly budge a few inches. The boulder is not shaped to roll, so it'll need to be pushed or pulled along the ground. As it moves, they'll notice some debris beginning to rain down from above. Looking up, they can see that the boulder is preventing a rockfall, so they'll need to find a way to move it without rocks collapsing on top of them or covering the opening they're trying to clear.
3. Henry can continue to sense that there's something pulsing behind the boulder. If the group would like to encounter the Bone Serpent, he can also sense the creature lurking above. A vine-like tendril will extend downward. The group can choose to deal with it how they wish and force it to retreat or remove one of its many legs.
4. The hivemind won't provide too many clues, but it does feel mindlessly hungry. It isn't malicious or an excessive hunger, just the sensation of a something seeking to nourish itself like any plant or fungus.

Regarding the boulder itself, the group is not against using brute strength to push it along the ground if they need to. Another option is bring back the vines that Henry and Sylvain noticed in a tunnel during one of their investigations to pull it out and away, if that’s easier. We were wondering if they’d also be able to use these vines to rig a sort of makeshift “netting” above the boulder to keep the rocks above from falling?
We would also like for them to encounter the Bone Serpent because we’re mean. :’) Henry and Louis would act as support; Henry would try to disorient it the creature mentally while Louis could use his strength/speed as a distraction if needed, with the help of Castiel’s monster shroud. The rest of the group would fight it head-on. Steve would rely on brute strength to rip a leg or two off (he is temporarily no longer suffering from paranoia, if this helps), Sylvain would use fire-based magic, and Claude’s would use wind magic to “cut” through it.
Also, how many legs would they need to remove in order to disable it or make it retreat?

2. They only need to remove one or two legs. It's sensitive to fire. Its legs are spiky, but underneath its protective hide the bones are weak and snap easily. You may decide between each other what injuries you would like to inflict on your characters as a result of this encounter!
