Mod Communications
If you have an idea related to the event plot, communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request
Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

Notable Actions
Submit notable actions that are likely to gain attention from other players, such as fights or disturbances.

IC Exchanges
Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.
Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.
Start an IC exchange
Using the provided form is optional. Begin a thread freeform if you prefer.

Investigations
Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.

Since G'raha's magic relies on his own life force, he will experience the strongest effect when a spell is cast upon the mushrooms - they absorb the magic and grow more plump. Himeka's magic, which draws from nature, will not be able to draw from the mushrooms themselves, only the other natural elements around her.
Thancred will find no signs of the substance provided to the Lost. However, he may notice that there are very subtle remnants of tracks around the mushroom rings that resemble the smooth tracks he found in Thorne with Stephen Strange.
The mushrooms look quite tasty. If she procures one to consume, they have a fresh and sweet flavor. They won't have any adverse effects on her, but another mushroom will quickly spring up in its place in the circle as though the circle is capable of sustaining itself.

If nothing new happens, they would try to take some time to examine the mushrooms more closely. Will these look at all like the mushrooms that Himeka saw in the bowl in her vision? Or are these an unrelated, different type of mushroom? Is the ring in any particular pattern that looks off or would be recognizable?
Thancred would definitely find it very strange that these tracks were showing up again in an entirely different faction. He would search beyond the immediate area around the mushroom rings to see if he could find any other signs of them, and whether or not he found more, he would try to see if he could take a plaster mold of the tracks (assuming there are materials back in town that he could acquire to facilitate that).
After that, he would likely ask around in the settlement to see if anyone was familiar with a creature, a vehicle, or even one of the gods that might leave such tracks. He would bring Himeka with him for this so that they weren't being met by an unknown face alone.

The mushrooms will look like the ones in her vision. The ring is simply a circular ring. The only unusual aspect is that it's formed a circle.
Thancred can take a mold of the tracks. He'll notice that they're not unusual in terms of shape and size, and could be considered human tracks. The most unusual aspect is the lack of treads on them. The natives wouldn't know of anyone who would have tracks like that. They suggest it's likely the person is wearing a type of shoe that has no treads at all, either made that way or deliberately removed.

Thancred and Himeka would dig down into the circle just to see if there's anything of note down there.
Himeka would like to pick a few of the mushrooms and take them back to the farm with her. She'd then like to do a little experimenting in the kitchen and combine it with the wood Alucard brought, if she sneaks a small sample of it, amongst other regular kitchen things. (Different spices and maybe other herbs/flora/animal parts that she's already aware of used in Solvunn rituals during her studies of High Magic and helping the mages.)
With the casing of the footprints, Thancred would like to look around and maybe interview any shoemakers or cobblers in the Commune. Would any of them be familiar with the type of shoe or be able to admit to making some like it?
no subject
Combining it with the wood Alucard brought will cause the rot to begin to dissolve. It does not appear to restore the wood to its former condition, however. Combining it with already healthy herbs will cause those herbs to wilt.
Cobblers in the commune tell Thancred that other than slippers worn at home, it's strange to find footprints in the woods with no treads since this is highly impractical. He suggests this means they must not journey on foot as most do. Possibly, they rely heavily on an alternate method of travel.
