Mod Communications
If you have an idea related to the event plot, communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request
Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

IC Exchanges
Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.
Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.
Start an IC exchange
Using the provided form is optional. Begin a thread freeform if you prefer.

Investigations
Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.
Interact with an Investigation

Character Name: Kyle, Wanda, Yennefer
Request: With permission, Kyle will travel down to Solvunn toward the last day-ish of investigating and meet up with Wanda to ask around the primary settlement about the history of the old gods. Specifically: is there a particular creation myth for the world of Abraxas, have they heard of a god called 'Nikodaemus', is there a difference between older old gods and newer ones?
They will speak to NPCs around the commune who seem knowledgeable, but if available they would see if Winifred Bordeaux would speak to them/answer those questions. They would also ask about the High Mage from Thorne that founded Solvunn (ICly Kyle would ask even though I know we talked about this previously and the info isn't available yet, so not expecting anything!) I know this is a late request so if we can't do an NPC thread and it's easier to summarize, I understand!
If asked about his curiosity Kyle will explain the connections to what they recently found in Thorne re: the illusion spell, and share that he holds his own god close. He can tell them about his own god's creation myth (how he used nearly all of his own body to create the world, how all life in that way is considered sacred and divine).

Winifred Bordeaux would speak to them about additional creation myths, and she'd be interested to hear Kyle's in return. She explains that in Solvunn, they believe that the Old Gods were borne of the Singularity, which then birthed the world of Abraxas for itself to dwell upon. The Old Gods are responsible for creating the various elements of the world, such as fire, water, light, and so forth. This was then dispersed throughout the universe to create all other worlds. After many years, some of the Old Gods reemerged and brought the "newer" Old Gods.
Solvunn believes the Old Gods as a whole continue to exist in Abraxas, and are responsible for ensuring life and creation continue. Winifred tells them that this isn't the case in Thorne or the Free Cities, who have their own traditions that have drifted from worship of the gods.
Upon hearing about the illusion spell, she says that any use of High Magic or a similar type of magic would call upon one of the gods responsible for the "creation" of that element. In this case, the user is calling upon a god known for creating illusions upon the world to aid them in forming the enchantment.

1. are the old gods content existing with one another, or has there been reason to believe in conflict between them? or do such concepts not exist for them?
2. if she knows the name of the god responsible for the 'creation' of illusions, or if she could guide them to where they could find information pertaining the pantheon of gods, so to speak.

2. There are many gods responsible for the creation of illusions, but she believes the one Wanda describes is Nikodaemus. One of the Elders will guide Wanda to resources she can read. Unlike Thorne's literature, Solvunn's records contain only one variation of his name (the correct one) and a detailed illustration of the god in question. Additional notes state that his illusions are used to restore balance which may explain why he's been invoked in enchantments used to make the island and the peninsula appear untouched.
