Mod Communications
If you have an idea related to the event plot, communicate and coordinate with us here. This includes NPC meetings, requesting resources, destroying the environment, or anything else that may require mod permission. If we can't accommodate a request for any reason, we'll do our best to offer an alternative!

Randomization Request
Request a mod dice roll at any time for outcomes and consequences. Some actions require a dice roll to proceed, such as attacking an acolyte NPC or attempting to break anything major in the environment (chains, doors, walls). If you aren't sure, you can check with us.

IC Exchanges
Use this option for interactions you'd like to play out, but setting up a standard IC thread would be impracticable. For instance, if your character wants to speak to several people about an event they witnessed together, you might want to do an IC exchange.
Treat this like an informal IC network thread done in person, where character reactions, snippets of dialogue, and other details can be quickly played out and concluded in-game without committing to a full log thread. Exchanges are game canon and can count towards Activity Check under the category of a Network thread.
Start an IC exchange
Using the provided form is optional. Begin a thread freeform if you prefer.

Investigations
Several investigation paths are available for characters to interact with. Each assignment group will have their own set of investigation paths. You can investigate something as many times as you want, as long as there's a reasonable explanation for your character making their second attempt. Interacting with investigations might carry IC consequences. We'll try to telegraph when characters are at high risk of triggering something major. To investigate, fill out the form, then comment under the item you're investigating.

Have you already met the goats? You should know then... [ In person, Kahlil looks a bit different than how he's been appearing in Horizon. The weariness is more readily apparent from the hint of dark circles beneath his eyes. He gives her a smile, though. He nods toward the floating bags with a wry look. ]
Are you moving in?
no subject
Hm, these? It's just an extra change of clothes, and some gifts. Oh! Speaking of... [ She roots around in one of the nearest bags extracting a nicely wrapped cloth bag. ] Tea! I packed extra just in case I ran into someone else I knew.
[ And Eddie doesn't exactly seem like the tea drinking sort. ]
no subject
Thank you. [ He seems genuinely touched - as much as he had been when Jack gave him the bundle of 'christmas' presents, and wishes he had the forethought to have brought something to gift in return.
He smiles at the cloth bag for a second before slipping it into a pocket and glancing up at her in question. ]
Are you hungry?
[ There's actually one thing he can offer her. ]
no subject
You'll have to let me know what kind of tea you prefer next time. There's an assortment in there but I'd rather give you teas that you like.
[ She immediately perks up at the mention of food. ]
Starving actually! [ All of this investigating worked up more an appetite than she thought it would. But if she were being honest with herself, it was more along the lines of her forgetting to eat that had become the problem. ] Are there cute restaurants here?

Rather than answering her next question, he flicks his wrist, and within his palm are some crystalline berries. He motions for her to open her palms so he can hand them over. ]
Be careful, they're very sweet!
[ And they'll disappear in an hour. But if she eats them she'll find that her hunger is gone, and feel a pleasant warmth. ]
no subject
You say that like it's a bad thing. I have a notorious sweet tooth.
[ 'Just ask Claude' is on the tip of her tongue but she stifles it by popping one of the berries into her mouth. The sweet juice of the berries pops in her mouth and she can't help but look absolutely delighted as she savours the taste of it. ]
These are so good, thank you Kyle! What kind of berries are they?
no subject
They're a gift from the Singularity. I find them in my domain -
[ 'Heyo! This way!' someone calls, and Kahlil turns to see the gaggle of children (along with their goat) have wandered off - the person calling over is an older man that seems to be motioning toward him to follow.
He turns to Hilda again: ]
It seems they're ready for me...
no subject
That is almost immediately combatted by a feeling of worry when Kyle says he has to go. The feeling is a familiar one, one that she's become accustomed to in times of war. It's a fear that it'll be the last time she sees someone — but she's learned to gracefully fold it under cheerfulness and a sheer stubbornness that thoughts like that had no place in her mind. But the fear still moves her and she reaches for him pulling him into a quick hug. ]
Keep safe, okay? And stay far away from any bad eggs you see.
no subject
He returns the quick embrace, gently patting her shoulder as they part and giving a surprised laugh. ]
I'll save them for our enemies.
