Welcome to our OOC intro and CR meme. We encourage you all to get out there, plot, and introduce yourself!

There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game. Players are free to introduce their characters however they like.

◎ Nocwich is OPEN every first weekend of each month. Characters can get some cross-faction CR here! Beyond those 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and outside of game events, characters from opposing nations will only be able to see each other in the Horizon.

◎ The OOC Plotting is scheduled for the 17th of this month, while the IC Event Log is scheduled for the 19th. This month's event will see characters facing some deadly enemies, both oddly familiar and not.

He is a brilliant scientist who loves the thrill of research. He just happens to get his kicks by experimenting on people without their consent.

CR YOU WANT:

Crane will talk with anyone in order to learn what makes them tick. Engage him in discussions about literature. Discuss philosophy and learn how he views the world. Debate the merits of classical music and science. Or make the fantastic decision to seek therapy. Crane loves probing minds and his psychological expertise enables him to provide insight and perspective. Seek his guidance on loneliness or the varied challenges of living away from home. Open to most things! Crane is a villain so I want to be careful about outing him. He is focused on building a positive reputation to mask his immoral behavior.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Istredd is a professional nerd (researcher, scholar archeologist) and powerful mage from the Witcher world. He is very smart and academic and loves libraries and books. Always the books. He used to be isolated and distant from people but he's become more social here. New people can come to him at the mingle to learn about magic and go into the Horizon. If you want to handwave your character going into the Horizon for the first time with him, please go ahead and do so! Just lmk.

Istredd believes strongly in telling people about the true situation in Thorne and cautioning them not to trust the place. He has a very cool Horizon library. He and his partner Lucifer are in each other's back pocket most of the time. He is going to be canon updated to Witcher s3 next month so for now he is spoiler free!

CR YOU WANT: nerd friends activate! If you'd like to learn magic or anything, he's a great teacher and happy to help. He's terrible at small talk but pretty good at being informative, so having that sort of back and forth is great. He's passionate about magic and the Singularity so if you have questions about that, come at him. He's an awkward nerd but a pretty nice one.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Abby's a fairly straightforward teenager. Hard partying with body image issues and self-esteem issues due to her friends and family they don't notice (and not noticing makes it worse). She loves drinking, and drugs, and clothes. Mostly she likes fun and hates responsibility or putting herself out there.

She's cagey and guarded and needs friends to be nice to her, it will make her uneasy she can't deal with positive attention.
CR YOU WANT: Positive attention, it'll make her all weird and she needs to get over herself. But also negative attention, and please get annoyed with her, she is very annoying.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Like- I'm fine with anything? I don't need her too traumatized yet but it'll come. Don't worry.

- Abby’s going to be a bit more comfortable in herself lately, she’ll still avoid hot springs and public baths but she’ll wear showy clothing in public. And- like approach people more.

- She will still be looking for help dealing with all the internal squishy trauma things she’s not quite worked through.

- Abby is looking to learn how to stab things in self defense. Stabbing is optional but it seems fun.

- She’ll be trying to turn her magic from ‘thing she can do’ into ‘useful thing she can do.’

- Abby will be loitering around Nocwich when not helping Nadine on her deliveries.

CHARACTER INFORMATION:
Viktor is a scientist-slash-genius engineer-slash-BIG NERD. He's spent the last 6-7 years developing magitech with his research partner, which has not necessarily played out as he would have hoped, with much of his work being co-opted by rich people who are only interested in doing rich people things. He comes off as a fussy academic but is actually an agent of chaos who loves to break rules and do weird science and ponder orbs. Despite his general penchant for putting himself in danger by screwing around with unknown forces he does not fully understand and can't control, he is an idealistic, highly principled individual who believes that the purpose of scientific advancement is to improve lives. He’s soft-spoken but quietly ambitious, intellectually curious, and kind of an obsessive workaholic who is preoccupied with legacy.

I have an info and permissions post here and his app is here for further reading. Also a general heads up that Viktor is terminally ill—I content warn accordingly when relevant, but he basically has Fantasy Consumption and the desire to Not Die is a large part of his character motivation at his current canon point. VIKTOR IS NO LONGER TERMINALLY ILL. I still have an opt out just in case. Comments are screened!

CR YOU WANT:

✷ Science types, baybe. He works/studies at the Grand Academy of General Science and likes to be in tune with the general scientific goings-on of the city. If you’re an engineer or a mechanic or another scientifically-inclined individual he would like to connect and swap notes! Also, you know, people to do weird magitech experiments with?? Technologically-inclined people to mentor??? He has, like, an undisclosed number of degrees and likes to talk about math and physics and stuff.
✷ BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS. He wants to connect with people who can do things that he cannot, like go out on dangerous adventures and acquire exciting resources and bring him cool things. IN RETURN: He can fix your shit. He can make you stuff, provided it's not guns! I really want to lean into this now that he has more time/energy for it.
✷ idk. friends. People to get him out of his comfort zone, which is working until 4am and then falling asleep at his desk. He’s also currently having a really bad time because Jayce is gone, which means he’s slipping back into bad habits (not eating or sleeping, working all of the time, etc.) so he needs someone who will tell him to go to bed and/or to stop tampering with the Horrors.

✷ Generally, his work involves faking magic via technological methods so he’s very jazzed about the real thing. His fancy Horizon power is identify, which means he can determine the magical properties of something by touching it. He can do this. For you!!! Beyond that he is usually testing projects in the Horizon. if you want to stop by and say hi and ask him what the hell he’s doing.
✷ Once upon a time Viktor did some illegal human experimentation on himself to cure his terminal illness. It worked! But it was definitely shady and in the aftermath the government raided his lab and stole all of the stuff he didn’t manage to burn and/or smash. You are welcome to have heard about this if your character pays attention to such things. He’s also level 7 now so feel free to have heard of his additional exploits with regards to various inventions, planting trackers on people to find out where Josselyn’s cult was kidnapping to, etc. As an added bonus he can enhance his own magic with BLOOD, so, if those things sound like a weird hooks I can offer that.
✷ Viktor has a venture for all your "making things" needs. Bring him your terrible napkin scribbles and he will make your dreams a reality. Would love to have him get working on some new projects now that he isn’t worried about, you know, dying. Pitch him any and all of your ideas, no matter how stupid.
✷ HELP WANTED!! Viktor cannot manage said business on his own, especially now that it’s expanded to Aquila and probably Libertas soon also. He has his their eye on Nocwich too. Do you have a character who needs a JOB? A scientifically-inclined guy who might want to be a workshop assistant? Someone who can take the occasional trip to Aquila to manage operations? There may be an OPPORTUNITY for YOU.
✷ Viktor is kind of quietly losing it and has some secret designs to puzzle out the Summoning ritual so that he can create the universe that he wants (this is bad of him). I would like him to talk to other people who plan to stay in Abraxas, or desperately want to leave Abraxas, and also maybe anyone who has knowledge of the multiverse. Just think it might be interesting!!!

CHARACTER INFORMATION: yen is a sorceress who has survived some (not great) shit to learn how to become powerful and channel the chaos/magic within her, sometimes successfully and sometimes not (we support women's wrongs). she’s very headstrong, can be extremely sarcastic, and will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. this has included - in the past - playing the Court Life Game. due to her upbringing and teaching she has learned that the most efficient way to get where she wants to go is to use people, to see them as a means to an end, but she's started questioning that a bit more lately. somewhere under it all is growing a moral compass that is generally drawn for those who cannot protect themselves. she can be short on patience, but also does have a dark sense of humor and can also be gentle, every once in a while, if she really wants to be. all in all she is powerful, kind of terrifying, and altogether kind of a huge mess - but you wouldn't be able to tell that when seeing her around the castle.

since arriving in thorne she's been Playing That Court Game, which has landed her a fairly close position with the queen. she's also been in thorne the longest out of any of the other summoned, which of course means there are plenty (PLENTY) or rumors about her around.
CR YOU WANT: I am open to pretty much ANYTHING at this point, but particularly where it comes to building and managing the amount of people who she's kinda accidentally allowed into her life. she's lived most of her years for herself and by herself, and recent events have caused her to turn around and realize she may or may not have a Group Of People that are hers. part of her still views those connections as Weakness, but she's also a bit too selfish to Let Them Go. on top of that, as mentioned, she is officially the longest summoned who has been in thorne, and her connection to the queen has put her into a very powerful but also very dangerous and complicated position, and her opening up/depending on others has been a slow process that she's still working on. i would LOVE to keep growing her list of students who she tutors and/or bullies where it comes to abraxan magic as well as their own canon magic. she's focusing on that a lot more lately, with a new kind of rigor, so there will be plenty of opportunities to touch base there. also anyone who wants to be frenemies, to bicker and bond and be those people, she is here. she desperately needs so many lady friends y'all help her there are so many MEN in thorne.

- MAGIC STUDYING: especially anyone who is or wants to be students of magic! yennefer has, for the last few months, been giving lectures to local mages and summoned alike on herbology and alchemy; but where it concerns summoned, she is known to be open to private lessons about how to use your own magic, how to understand abraxas magic, and everything in between. she's not a N I C E teacher, exactly, but she's a good one. anyone who is looking for a mentor to help them with magic they're not used to having or don't know how to control, she's actually pretty decent, if an unforgiving, teacher of sorts.

- RUMORS RE: HER MAGIC: there are quite a few rumors around the castle about how she is known to be one of the more powerfull mages of the summoned who stayed in thorne, but no one has seen her really DO magic for some time, hmmmm, mysterious. the biggest thing to note here, though, is that i do plan on canon updating yennefer at the end of this month - which means she's gonna be back and as chaos-fueled as ever, so if there are any conversations you want to have about this we'll want to do them in august!

- COURTLY POLITICS: she is known for being quite close to Queen Ellya and her court, though if you get her one on one she may let it slip that it's a bit more complicated than that. she is well known around the castle with this association and would be someone playing the Political Game in ways she doesn't really want to, but has gotten caught up in thanks to her own decisions. she has a LOT to say about the higher-ups in the castle and has been around long enough to have Opinions, but anyone who wants to talk politics/to hear from her about some more inner circle stuff, she is YOUR GIRL.

- she's real hot and also would not be against sleeping around/stepping on some people. c: SAY THE WORD. though she will leave in the morning and she's not here for the distinctly romantic side of things. there are also most likely a few rumors going around that she's already got a Few Consorts in the castle, and is close to (if not already consorting with) a few others, and she's not ever going to deny that.

- she is always in need of some more lady friends, there are so many men here good GODS. HELP. but especially lady friends who want to talk about being powerful and kind of scary and who may or may not want some sisterhood stuff going on.

- truthfully she has settled into thorne pretty well, despite how much she might claim to hate it, and i have some plans to get her delving into some more intense magical sides of things - especially regarding the singularity. but we shall see where the event takes us, too. c:

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Diana is an immortal Amazon from the hidden mythical island of Themyscira. After spending thousands of years preparing to defend mankind in an inevitable and cataclysmic war, a WWI spy crash-landed on the island, told the Amazons about the war, and when nobody else would go with him to fight, Diana ran away with him to go kill Ares, the God of War, who was responsible for starting and perpetuating WWI. After kicking some ass and being a good, soft girl, she learned that she's actually a daughter of Zeus, and has been grappling with her newly-discovered identity.
CR YOU WANT: I am here for any kind of CR! Definitely people who can kind of teach Diana more about people and other worlds in general, people she can spar with or teach combat to, mentorships, people who want to work with her to Do Good Deeds™, people she can hang out with in the Horizon, and anyone who needs a Mom Figure in their life (or just a Diana figure in general). She's currently running security for caravans going between Cadens and Aquila, doing odd jobs for the townsfolk in Cadens, visiting Nocwich on the open weekends, spending a lot of time in Libertas helping with rebuilding/relief efforts, and drops by the sparring rings fairly often (though not as often as she used to), so she's around a lot.

↠ Exploring ways for the Summoned to kind of create their own faction so they don't have to rely on the Free Cities, Thorne, or Sulvunn. Inej pitched this idea to her, and she's 100% on board, and will direct any like-minded Summoned to Inej.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Nathan Drake is a treasure hunter, thief (sometimes those are the same thing), self-taught historian, vaguely Indiana Jones expy and an emotional trashbag of a man. His hobbies include climbing, drawing, hyper-fixating on history's mysteries, and finding the lost cities. Sometimes he destroys them, sometimes not.

He most recently hails from successfully saving his brother's life and his own marriage in the fabled pirate colony Libertalia and walking away with absolutely zero treasure. He's mostly gonna be put out that his loved ones are suddenly nowhere around :/ He can roll with it, though, Abraxas isn't so bad as long as he doesn't have to share a jail cell and a bucket with other Summoned.

CR YOU WANT:
-People who like mysteries/puzzles/generally getting their noses into things. He gets bored when left to his own devices and if he's not presented with rabbit holes to go down, he will find his own

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Adora's 20 and she just finished saving her world. Again! She was raised in the military and it wasn't until she was 17 that accidentally discovered her fate as She-Ra: Princess of Power. Right now she's trying to come to terms with the idea that she's saved the world, gotten the girl, and now has no fucking clue what to do with her life.
CR YOU WANT: GIMMIE IT ALL. I generally would love positive parental figures for her because the one she had died too soon. She was raised by an emotionally manipulative and physically abusive woman, so to actually have any adult actually care about her, maybe guide her a little, would be amazing for her. Magic users as well! She still has magic thanks to the Singularity, but no sword (so uh, if your character saw it, pretend they didn't!), and she can take this opportunity to really flex her magic and not need to learn under the direst of circumstances from a reprogrammed evil hologram.

And other young adults, she's loving this whole friendship thing.
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Right now I wanna tip toe in, so at this point, maybe no negative CR. But that doesn't mean no forever, just not right now!
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: I'd love for her to make friends so that she can have someone to talk about in regards to all sorts of things. Like what it means to have a girlfriend who maybe tried to kill you once (multiple times) but also loves you. But also as previously stated, Adora exploring magic is a serious one I'd love to explore for her.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Full list of content warnings here. Kyle's past is pretty heavy, it involves a lot of trauma dealing with his world's church, his upbringing in a monastery where he was trained to be a priest-assassin-spy. There's also some world-hopping and memory issues that persist since his arrival here. He's come to terms with his church as an institution being not so great, but he still holds an unbreakable devotion to his deity and has been learning to separate what the church taught him versus what he knows his god's all about for real.

He's been in Abraxas since last August, regained a decent chunk of his memory and continues to fill in blanks, though a lot of memories seem to contradict each other - like how sometimes he remembers saving his sister's living bones from the temple she was held at, but in the present that temple was destroyed decades ago so (???) he does his best not to think about it too hard unless he has to.

CR YOU WANT: Friends, enemies, everything in between. Not super picky! He's previously been in a kind of survival undercover-mode and hiding everything from his powers to his past, borderline lying about it sometimes - but since Event #12 he's been more open about things.

He's got a lot of contacts (friends) in other factions, once you gain his trust he's willing to trade information. He's also willing to help newbies get their footing with general world/lore info, I'm happy to either play this out or handwave.

Because 1) he thinks he was dying before he came here and 2) he believes this is where his god wants him to be, Kyle is starting to wonder about the long term in Abraxas on a personal level. He has a soft spot for other people who want to make a home here, and in general is very protective of the people he gets close to even if he doesn't always show it.

➔ FACTION/WAR STUFF: Because of his own interpretation of their situation + religious beliefs Kyle is dedicated to protecting the Singularity, which at the moment has him invested in Thorne's stability as a faction, since it's them and Solvunn standing in the way of the Free Cities intention to destroy it. As things stand, that means his support is toward protecting the status quo, despite his dislike of the queen and the idea of the Thorne monarchy gaining control of the Singularity. The king seems more reasonable and uses a lot of buzz words that Kyle likes, but he's still a mortal man without divine right behind him and Kyle is pretty lukewarm on nobility (to be fair he's pretty ehhhh on democracy too). Also? the current issue of succession right now seems super questionable to him............

He's been seen 'teleporting' but the full extent of his abilities aren't widely known - depending on wards he's able to spy on people from the Gray Space. He's also pretty morally grey, and will compartmentalize to do a murder or other shady things if absolutely necessary. Happy to plot with people, either as a support for any plans or a hinderance!

In the past he's been openly wary about the crown, but more recently he carries an official brooch from the crown as one of their couriers and it's known that he had an audience with the king a few months ago, so if anyone wants to question his motives/loyalties I'm also down for that.

➔ RESEARCH: Kyle has been trying to research the unknown parts of Abraxas' history, including what happened to the Summoned from the Ninth High Mage's time and why Thorne became so distant from High Magic and the gods. Connected to that, he's also been asking his CR in the other two factions to look into their old history too, specifically Solvunn's founding and more information on the Free Cities' split from Thorne + anything deeper about why they believe the Singularity needs to be destroyed.

➔ MEMORY/TIME TRAVEL/THE MULTIVERSE: This is another long term thing BUT Kyle's memory is partially merged with a version of himself from another timeline. As mentioned above he tries not to think about it too hard, but he has noticed that other people seem to be having timeline confusion with their canonmates, so if that's something you wanna eventually commiserate over...

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Cid is a sarcastic, somewhat sassy, handsome older man who isn't allowed to rest. Ever. Without spoilers, he's the leader of the Hideaway, a place that's a refuge for those who otherwise would be treated as possessions. They're taken in, fed, clothed, and helped to regain their sense of selves over time. Cid also believes that the mother crystals, that people use in order to cast magic, is what's killing the world and naturally wants to destroy them. The big, giant, larger than cities magical crystals...

He's also the dominant of Ramuh meaning he has spells that are electric or lightning in nature. He can semi-prime which makes them stronger, and priming means he becomes Ramuh, an elder primal of the levin that casts judgement bolt. Using that will harm him so Cid isn't going to really mention it unless he feels like it.

Cid's an engineer as well so he'll be likely up in everyone's business, ruffling feathers and looking to establish himself.

CR YOU WANT: All of it. Friends, team mates, enemies. Cid would be a good addition to fighting for the Summoned, so if anyone is willing to talk him into it that would be A+. He also wouldn't mind catching his breath, it was busy back home, so a few drinks would also be great.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Cid getting used to being in the new place is a great enough start and he'll also be fascinated by the tech, any engineering, and anyone who uses magic. The latter is especially specific to his interests. I'd also like Cid to start making connections so should anything go down he knows who to call on or talk to and to see who knows what intel.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Catra is a girl that is so deeply insecure and has such attachment problems that she became a wholeass villain just because her crush left the fascist military they were raised in to because one of the good guys. SPoP is four seasons of Catra being an increasingly unhinged villain because she misses her crush and horrible mother figure, until the final season, at which point she goes too far and realizes what a terrible series of decisions she's been making and switches sides. She is a short heterochromia-having cat-hybrid who will be aggressive and sarcastic to just about everybody, unless she actually starts to like them, at which point she may soften up a tiny bit.
CR YOU WANT: Everything! First and foremost, Catra needs friends. Like, desperately. She's not easy to get on with, and will be best suited for confident characters who can take a bit of a sharp tongue. I'd love for her to get to know people that she actually feels comfortable around and can opening up about herself and learning to become a better person. On the other hand, Catra will likely very easily make enemies because she often gives into her worst impulses, so negative CR is also a possibility!

⸻ Catra haaaates magic. Really, really hates it. She was brought up to believe that it's evil, and though she's recently acknowledged otherwise, she's still scared of it. So, threads with mages would definitely be fun! Initially Catra will be wanting to learn purely academic knowledge so that she can know what to look out for. Slowly, however, I intend to have her display Wild Magic, so having magic-inclined characters in her CR would definitely be interesting!

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Jill is a sharp, reserved woman who has spent most of her life living under the weight of her own guilt and trauma. Because the nature of this trauma can be triggering, I've included a spoiler-free overview of it here with the option to opt out of any part of it. She's a princess turned outlaw with a deep desire to keep the helpless from suffering at the hands of others, joining with Cid and his Hideaway in order to create a future where people can live on their own terms, without having their lives dictated by others. A big fan of free will and the concept of personal agency, if you will. She's sill in the process of learning how to show emotions and how to be a person rather than considering herself a 'monster' for the things she's done, but she's getting there!

She's also the Dominant of Shiva, which means she has ice powers and can turn into a giant woman and gain several power levels. Not only does using them cause her physical pain and will eventually kill her, but she has a significant amount of trauma related to these powers and will likely refrain from mentioning she can do any of the above at all.

Eddie is a doomed by the narrative, anxiety-ridden metalhead from 1980s Indiana—but like, a highly cursed town in Indiana that houses an alternate dimension with monsters and creepy shit. Long story short, he had one really bad week that started with him being wanted for a murder he didn’t commit (the satanic panic of it all) and ended with him getting munched on by some mutant monster-bats.

He epeated his senior year twice back home and in game time, he’s 21 years old. He doesn’t like conformity, but he does like D&D and rock music to an obsessive degree. He’s super dramatic and super nervous. He’s incredibly intense and might look like he’s gonna strangle you if you even try to insult his favorite bands, but he’s a kind-hearted dude who genuinely wants to help and do the right thing and has a serious soft spot for those who “don’t belong”.

He's good at killing monsters, handy with a blade, and prefers his solitude but likes company that he's comfortable with. Can be solicited with free drinks or food. Extremely protective of the people he loves and will not hesitate to murder. Heavy association with wolves. Also has a daughter he would do anything for.

Was kidnapped and semi-?? experimented on, cult-style a few months ago, and then more recently tried to kill his friend-turned-demon but it's fine, everyone's good. It all worked out. He'll be undergoing a canon update at the end of the month. More info.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: Anything that develops naturally is A-OK with me. Purely negative CR for the sake of it might not go very far since Geralt rarely engages there, but that's just an FYI. On an OOC level, I'm open to anything.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

+ Hunting/exploring. Geralt rides out for 2-3 weeks at a time into the desert to kill things. He's not one to take partners but it can happen if they're both coincidentally out there or if you want to just disrupt his day, go for it. He can also be found just wandering the desert since he doesn't really like being in the big city constantly and prefers to go rock climbing and watch the sunset in silence.

+ Horizon fun times. His Horizon is a big old decrepit fortress/castle, with skeletons and bones buried under the snow. Underneath that is a more pleasant temple. Geralt might not say a lot, but his domain speaks a good bit for him and about his history, so if you want an easy in to get to know him, swing by.

+ Horse girls and/or swords. Geralt is a horse girl through and through. He loves his horse, he talks to his horse, his horse is his best friend Jaskier shouting in the distance. If you, too, love horses or just want someone to show you how to ride/tack up he's willing. He's less open to training people out the door, but he can be convinced, or if you just want to spar!!

+ Extremely grey morals! Geralt is a monster hunter who's also kind of perceived as a monster himself in a war-torn world where usually the humans are the worst monsters. He has his own philosophy on how to navigate all the chaos, and sometimes what he believes, what he says, what he wants, and what he does can all be contradictory. I'd love for things of this nature to come up.

+ Bonding, especially some brotherly bonds. Geralt's chosen to stay in Abraxas, so he values people important to him a lot. If he sees common ground in someone (i.e. similar traumas), he'll take an interest. Without his Witcher brothers here, he's started to collect other hunter-types in Abraxas into a little family of sorts. The only qualifications are being a dumbass and killing things.

Due to time and route differences, he may say something different about Fodlan and what happened there compared to info from his other castmates. While he's very outwardly friendly or overly casual or irreverent, he keeps most everyone at arm's length and uses that occasionally insincere friendliness as a shield since trust is a major stumbling block for him. He's sharp, observant, and not afraid of taking on any challenges or doing what he believes to be the right thing. On the flip side, he can be manipulative, evasive, stubborn, and generally annoying or difficult to deal with when he feels like it. Claude can be won over with puzzles, a board game, or a good meal, and though he keeps his own interests in mind, he's loyal to and protective over those important to him.

CR YOU WANT:

● Keeping TDM threads as canon is great, let me know if you'd like to if I don't reach out to you first!
● Friends, new and old! He's intentionally difficult to get to know at first, but he'd sure like to learn everything about you you're willing to share. He could also be a mentor, depending, and gravitates towards people who also have outsider vibes.
● People to chat philosophy or worldviews with. Claude's morals are less flexible than they appear, in some ways, and given that he went through a war at home and is staring one down here then getting into that with others who'd be willing to share is something he'd like a lot. Disagreements in this with conflicting views work too!
● Research partners! His current interests are botany, healing, and learning ice magic but if you need an extra set of hands for something, count him in. Claude also currently has some small scale farming things going on up on the roof/terrace of the Femblems' loft for other fellow botany enthusiasts.
● I'm open to just about anything and also good with using anything as a starting point for something else. I'm happy to build on any ideas in here or to plot or hand-wave to get basic intro stuff in place and start further in. Consider me ready at any time to deepen existing CR too if we want to plot a way for that to happen.

● Would you like to trade canon magic? He knows a couple healing magic spells that he can't use on himself (and therefore the learner can't use on themselves either) as well as wind spells meant for attack. They're ones that he would be happy to trade knowledge of for your character's knowledge or simply teach. Also, he's interested in finding a magic tutor to finally start learning what he can while here. He's made some attempts at learning smaller spells but would love to work with someone who knows what they're doing.
● Does your character have multiple timelines, universes, etc. and would they like to chat about it? I'm up for including this as a topic inside a thread where something else is going on if it's easier to make it not the main focus.
● Potentially getting involved in politics. He tried to avoid that for a while in favor of observing closely and, well. That didn't entirely work and recent events have solidified a need for this to happen in his mind. Claude is currently one of the Free Cities representatives for the Summoned Conclave until the next round comes up and was mostly open about his past experience. However, he's started to think it would be best if the Free Cities had some changes and would like to (quietly) look into that.
● Adjacent to that - research on the Singularity and factions! Through chatting with CR he's finally started looking into the Free Cities' side to find out some of the thoughts on the Singularity and how they differ from Thorne. His own feelings on the Singularity are mostly ambivalent but asking's (and other conversations) made him curious about how it affects them being here and what a change, destruction of it, whatever else mean for the Summoned.
● Claude is also looking to get involved with supporting charities or some type of charitable work. He's been volunteering with orphanages, assisted in infirmaries immediately after the attack on Libertas, and would like to continue with causes meant to help Free Cities citizens. He's got a vague idea of linking his botany interests to some kind of farming if anyone would be interested in potentially teaming up as a likely very long-term plan since it's in initial theoretical stages. Thanks to Viktor, he'll have a small hydroponic setup to experiment with soon!
● Are you also staying in Abraxas? It's recently occurring to Claude more and more that being here is some kind of permanent now that he's been here a long time. He has some mixed feelings about this given he has Things To Do at home and with the complications of that timeline nonsense with his friends... maybe staying wouldn't be terrible. A goal I have for him is to finally start opening up to people, probably at a painfully glacial pace, but this would be good for deepening CR, chats with newly arrived, etc.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: An orphan for as long as she can remember, Nadine had a crummy childhood involving various foster homes, Catholic run children's homes, and also being claimed by Stephen King's version of Satan's Right Hand Man (Randall Flagg) as his future bride. Which happened when she was 12 and sort of ruled her life until she was in her late 30s and a super plague wiped out most of humanity. She lived a very solitary life without friends or much else aside from her career - elementary school teacher. Then things got even worse and she did some regrettable stuff in the service of Randall Flagg including gather a body count, actually married him, and then ended up here.

Where she is now free of Flagg's influence, and has been for a while now. She's trying hard to find herself and forge a life she can be happy with and proud of. It's still difficult for her, but she's making an effort.

In Abraxas she's studied Academic Magic, though it's more a hobby than a serious pursuit. She's a medical student going into her third year at the Academy of Medicine and a practicing apothecary - she has a commercial medical research and retail license - with a clinic in Cadens. She lives with Julie Lawry and the pair of them have just recently founded Vegas Botanicals, a cannabis line available in the clinic and Nocwich on Nocwich weekends. But she has sales reps in Solvunn also! She's going into general practice, but she has surgical training and experience and is here to handle all the medical needs of the Free Cities Summoned.

She's involved in a committed but open relationship with Jaskier, and has been starting to branch out in her experiences - she also has a physical relationship with Julie, and has dabbled in some casual encounters. With her childhood and pre-Abraxas life how it was, she missed out on a lot of common experiences and milestones.

She's friendly and amicable on the surface, but very slow to trust and bond deeply with others. Loves kids and automatically Moms at younger characters. Lots of dark and disturbing themes in her past. But she's mostly trying hard to be a better person here.

CR YOU WANT: Love Nadine meeting other people who have been touched by darkness or made regrettable decisions in their past. Even now she has a lot of stuff to work out and that she struggles with. Always love throwing her at youths, she gets along very well with teens and young people. Particularly of the damaged variety, as she was a damaged kid herself and spent most of her adult life working with children.

Absolutely interested in other healers/medical type characters, she's really thrown herself into medicine. Her medical career means a lot to her and she is trying to learn all that she can. And as I mentioned she is expanding her experiences, I am very open to CR that includes a casual physical relationship where Nadine can continue to explore and figure out her own sexuality.

And also her finally accepting how crappy most of her life was and dealing with a lot of unresolved issues regarding things she's done and things that have happened to her re: the apocalypse and dark magical forces. She has recently started thinking about ways to combine both her magical abilities and her traditional medical practice. And for any non-human characters, one of her private side projects is working on medicine and medical techniques designed specifally for non-humans.

In all seriousness, Hilda is the youngest daughter of the Goneril house and more or less believes that she'll only disappoint others if she tries to do anything but play the part of a nobleman's daughter. She might act like an air head, but she's more perceptive than she makes herself out to be and is fiercely loyal to those she cares about.

She's a DIY queen, adores makeup, beauty products, selfcare and loves making her own jewelry and accessories. She's deadly with an axe in her hands, a Big Flirt, super friendly, a fantastic shopping buddy/hypewoman but will also keep you humble in the exact same breath. I'm playing her from mid-Verdant Wind.

CR YOU WANT:

Any and all! If your character runs into Sylvain or Claude, feel free to assume that that's an easy in with Hilda. They used to live above the Sarstina until quite recently having moved into their own loft above a warehouse.

She still picks up shifts at the Sarstina bar to make some cash, but it's largely social time. She's friendly and easy to get along with, but here's a couple of bullet points:

- Deepening current CR because I love and adore all of the directions they're going.

- Establishing new CR because she's a little sister but she'd be overjoyed to be a big sister, or for someone to sweep her under their wing as an honorary sibling. - Come and join the Unofficial Cadens Welcome Committee! It's run by Sam and Hilda is just along for the ride, making cute posters and exasperating Sam. You'll probably catch her as a part of the city tours and being a friendly face that'll chat your ear off unless you tell her to stop.

- Do you like fashion? The aesthetics? The ARTS? Hilda joined the team managing the Old Public Hall. For someone who hates working she's sure doing a lot of it. Designing and making her own jewelry has gone full steam ahead. Hilda has taken up an unofficial apprenticeship with a local NPC, Cyprian, who is a metalworker and blacksmith. She'll be flitting in and around Aquila pitching various designs to the fashion houses there but if you want something made for you hit her up. She's happy to take commissions for the low price of favours she can cash in in the future. Or money if the other one sounds too ominous to you. ...Or hell, nothing at all really if you're a friend. Let her shower you with pretty things!

- Building on the above, Hilda is also going to venture into learning how to enchant objects, specifically the things she makes! I've got a couple of ideas re: cool functional jewelry, but she'll be working together with Viktor to make this pipe dream of hers come to fruition. I'd love to send her down an artificer (but of accessories) track at some point and this will be the baby steps towards that. She can currently make accessories that can cast/shed light and bracers that will cast a shield that can free up people's hands. Come at her with your ideas!

- She has, regrettably, started training again due to a series of unfortunate events (boo Natasha/Stevemerica and Sam by association). She'd still like to brush up on her magic which will include some healing/aid skills while trying to keep up with her training out of sight of those closest to her. CHARACTER INFORMATION: Wrench is a former hitman and only surviving member of the Fargo crime syndicate. He'll be entering Deerington post-episode S03E10: Somebody to Love, which means that he's roughly ten years post-encounter that left his former partner dead, and the Fargo mafia as an organization all but totally obliterated. He's also five years out from a two-million-dollar windfall, though for all intents and purposes it doesn't appear that he's done anything with the money he acquired.

Important point of information: Wrench is Deaf and nonspeaking. I've created a communication FAQ page to address some curiosities and concerns I'm anticipating, but please feel free to ask for any clarification you might need.

CR YOU WANT: Taking all comers, honestly. Wrench is coming from a point in his canon where he's very alone. Literally everyone he's ever known or cared about is dead, and he's pretty much twisting in the wind. It's going to be a shock to his system to find himself somewhere that he has to keep encountering the same faces day after day; it's unusual for him to encounter the same person more than once. But at his core, he's fascinated by people and has a longing desire to get to know them, so at this point no CR is bad CR as far as I'm concerned.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: At this point there's nothing.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: For the immediate future I'm probably going to be primarily focused on figuring out how to get him settled in and established. He's got a lot of questions as a newcomer, of course, but mostly he just needs to find his way around.

One of the things that's really key to Wrench as a character is the fact that he's never really been able to live life on his own terms. He was taken into the Fargo syndicate when he was still a young child and raised up to be a hitman. He did that job for the better part of his whole life, and it's left him without an identity or any sense of stability. None of that was chosen by him, so figuring out who he can become when he has the latitude to make his life his own is going to be really fascinating.
