Motions from August's meeting have been passed for each faction. Thorne and Solvunn have both agreed to try and negotiate for the Summoned to return and investigate the sunken island used by the Acolytes. They've asked for a set of goals that the Summoned hope to achieve to be submitted by the end of October.

Anomalies | LinkThe Anomalous Beasts that rampaged through the open rifts caused unmatched destruction in many areas throughout Abraxas. Fortunately, major cities and towns were spared, but notable areas hosting important resources or workers were impacted - including mines, lumber mills, farmlands, and more.
In the aftermath, it was discovered that a Summoned from Solvunn may have been responsible.
Curios | LinkCurious entertainers arrived to assist with restoration efforts and spread some good cheer. Many Summoned proceeded to help clean up the damaged areas while others decided to deliver trinkets to children and the wounded.

For now, the morbol is under protection from Portam Hall's Wildlife & Research Department.

Reasoning: He's represented the group before on the Conclave, so he has some experience here with diplomatic-ish duties here. He doesn't have a strong opinion either way which way the group votes - if asked he'll say that he doesn't think Thorne or the Free Cities should get a leg up on each other with whatever secrets may be obtained from the Nether and possibly weaponized, but he'll go along with whatever the group thinks best in this case.
(*Some people also may know or suspect he worked as a spy in a previous life - he won't say this part aloud, but in case it influences whether or not your character thinks he may be suited for obtaining information)

Reasoning: She has represented Thorne as a delegate to Ikorr in the past (which, granted, did not go well for her) but it was a successful diplomatic mission. She believes it's important to go whichever way the vote in Thorne goes, but if asked she will mention that the extinction of an entire species is not something to be taken lightly, especially if they are a faction that has the resources to save them. She doesn't believe that Thorne should have any access to information or resources that the other factions don't have, but she also doesn't think the other factions should have access to that same information/resources if Thorne doesn't either. Also, she believes that if it came down to a delicate political conversation, she could work through it to make sure it doesn't go completely tits up. While she hasn't been on the Conclave, she has a fairly decent reputation for helping the Summoned with their magic both through private lessons and otherwise. She's definitely here to make sure that if the vote does decide for them to negotiate, she believes that her being at the table will be better than not, but also even if they decide not to negotiate on behalf of Thorne, having the chance to speak to the NPCs to help in any other way they can will be worth it.

Reasoning: Rhy has been a member of the Summoned Conclave as a representative for Thorne since its inception, and will attest he's done his best to bring to the table everyone's voices. Thorne Summoned will know that he is an active participant in their community, including putting together a welcoming and supportive environment for new Summoned. With this in mind, he'll promise to voice and uphold the group's wishes when it comes to relaying their decision to both the Nether and the Thornean crown, however that vote ends up going.
He's spoken before (during his bid for Conclave representative) about his upbringing as a prince in his homeland, and how that means he's trusted with the wellbeing of his people and necessitates he put them before himself. While this isn't his country, he does consider the Summoned of Thorne his friends and even family, and he takes the duty of representative with seriousness.
...he'll probably also crack a joke or two at some point about how charming he is, and who can say no to a smile this dazzling?? (whether this is a point in his favor or against is up to you)
If asked how he thinks they should proceed, he will say that he doesn't wish for the extinction of a whole species, one so vital to the magic and people of its region, and he is in support of helping regardless. When it comes to involving Thorne and what they may learn, he understands they'll need to tread carefully and try to keep a balance of information between parties -- factions, and Nether included.

Reasoning: As a healer, this particular situation appeals to her deeply. And she feels her particular experience with non-human medicine and research put her in a very good position to step up in this capacity. She also has experience meeting with diplomats and politicians through accompanying Jaskier to meet with Sten and Quilleth in previous events, with presenting arguments to professors and department heads at the Academy of Medicine, as well as negotiating with the same through her position as a medical researcher. In short, she feels capable and prepared to step into a delegate position for this particular event.

Reasoning: As a former leader of a nation, negotiation on potentially difficult topics is something familiar to Claude. Several years of experience with this and with different parties involved - including many a tense discussion or ones which could've went that way in an instant - means he feels comfortable stepping up as a potential delegate. He has some experience working with Portam Hall through the Conclave he's willing to offer if that route is chosen, and regardless of his own feelings on the situation he'll present what the Summoned choose to do to anyone they meet with to work towards the best solution possible as he's interested in providing aid with or without the Free Cities' help.

Reasoning: Dragons are extremely important to her. If you haven't been to her Horizon, you will see there are baby dragons all over the place. She has a long-standing history with them on her home world so no matter their condition, she would care MUCHLY about them. This in particular makes her really want to get involved since she always cares about their well-being. As a Conjurer/White Mage as well, she's made an oath to be of service to nature and healing it.
But most importantly, she has horns. And a tail. And scales. She's dragon-adjacent* which may be helpful to the dragons themselves or the daemons. #shesgotthelook
She's also been a delegate for Solvunn before when meeting with Ikorr and is a fairly stable figure around Solvunn for years as well. But mostly the dragon things.
*Has been confused as such by many NPCs in FFXIV and Jaskier and Jesper in Abraxas.

Reasoning: wanda has been in solvunn for almost two years now and has become a pretty solid member of the community. not only does she have vested interest in the summoned, but she's also grown really fond of solvunn and its interests (despite some negativity from others). she's gotten comfortable enough with handling situations with authority figures (rowan, winifred, isar) and trying to see both sides of any argument. her magic will also come in handy to help out with the dragons...
