Summoned Conclave
Representatives | LINK
New representatives must be chosen this meeting. Any Summoned who want to hold their current positions need to resubmit their bid.
Motions Sanctioned | LINK
Motions from April's meeting have been passed for each faction. Thorne now has a permanent portal open to Borrel, at no cost or fee. The Free Cities has agreed to try and negotiate for the Summoned to return and investigate the sunken island used by the Acolytes.
World Events
All Factions
Feywilds | LinkThe Summoned were exclusively invited to visit the Feywilds, without the presence of any faction officials. There, they were able to explore the unknown land, speak to the Fey, and attend a grand Masquerade at the end of the week.
Rifts | LinkStrange rifts have opened up around Abraxas, both in and out of towns. Unusual creatures have come through these rifts, including those that the Summoned might recognize from their home worlds. To date, the rifts are still opening.

Henry Creel | Link???A mysterious monster is now prowling the Settlements with a distinct vendetta against goats. No one knows where this monster came from, though whispers say it emerged from the woods through the will of the gods.

An altercation breaks out during the Masquerade involving Nero, Lucifer, and Rocket, much to the Fey's delight. The three are eventually separated.

A shark-like figure may have been noticed interjecting in order to guess all attendees' costumes.
The Free Cities

May have been overheard asking questions about the Singularity and the Free Cities. They were additionally involved in the pardon of Marc Creed.

Character Name Istredd
Links & Reasoning Istredd seems reluctant but he wants to be helpful and Kyle might not want to do it every time. He mentions that he is the mingle host who helps people get into the Horizon and network for the first time, he teaches beginner's magic to the Summoned, he has a public library domain, and is generally a Nice Person. He's a little awkward about saying nice things about himself so he doesn't go on long, just says he'll be glad to help out the Summoned, and leaves it at that.

Links & Reasoning "Um, I've been here for over a year, so I have a pretty good idea of how things work around here. You're probably expecting me to say something like 'I know everyone too', but I don't. Anyway, do you really think Istredd needs more stress in his life? Someone has to help him."
He goes on to point out that he's worked hard at learning how to control magic, and he's also been training in self-defense with Kyle every morning for several months now. Evidence of some discipline and responsibility, if you're concerned about electing a teenager.
He also alludes to having some experience in negotiating with people in power, though he doesn't elaborate. :|

Links & Reasoning Rhy was already a sitting member on the conclave previous, so if no other new members wish to step forward, he's happy to participate again. He will mention again that he's a prince in his home world and the responsibilities of learning to rule that he's grown up with. He will also reiterate that he, alongside Istredd, organizes the welcome banquet for the new Summoned and that his goals remain promoting a sense of community and trust between the Summoned in Thorne as a whole.

Links & Reasoning Thankfully for everyone, Sam is going to read the room and see if he really needs to rehash his last list of activities. If there are enough people who weren't here last go around, he'll hit on the main few, give a quick sparknotes that really does downplay just how long he's been around and what he's worked on.
He'll then rehash, quickly, what he and Jayce and Claude had done last go around - particularly the permanent portal to Aquila, and then how they're still working on getting access to the island that the Summoned were held at. He'll make mention that the work isn't done yet, and he'd like to keep it up, if he can.
And finally, just like last time, he'll end his speech with a "Honestly, anyone who wants to take on the responsibility will be good for the job, and I'll support whoever we want up here. But I don't mind sticking around and keeping up with the work Jayce, Claude and I started on. But it's worth repeating that working together is what's going to keep us safe, and we all know we need to do better. Thanks for listening."

Character Name Claude von Riegan
Links & Reasoning This time comes with a shorter recap of his reasons for nominating himself from his last bid, including the mention of his prior history in leading the Alliance from home as reasoning for being familiar with working with governments.
Here's no exception, as with a nod towards Sam mentioning their accomplishments and what's still pending that review by Portam Hall, Claude agrees also that it's for the best they continue to work together. That includes the Summoned most of all, of course, and seeing what can be done to improve their lives while here if not also assisting those around Cadens who need it. Claude mentions that's part of what he's been doing lately and whether he stays on or not for this time around, his hope would be that whoever is part of the Conclave also continues that work and he's happy to support anyone who steps forward.

Links & Reasoning firstly, she's doing this because rocket agreed to volunteer if she also takes the plunge. secondly, wanda's been around abraxas for almost two years and has a pretty good idea of how things work. not only that, but her skill in magic, her interactions with the faction officials at different points in time, and her more recent pact with an old god have put her in a bit of a favorable light as far as the commune is concerned. she gets along with other summoned from solvunn + other factions, and has been part of the unofficial welcome committee.
she's also mom to many. ✌️

Links & Reasoning
"Yeah, all right." Rocket clears his throat and gets to his feet, nose twitching. "So a couple of roommates of mine put me up to this —" YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE (Himeka + Wanda!!!) "— but while I'm here, I might as well say somethin'."
He'll explain that back home he's captain of a ship (only a mild twist on the truth because technically that is, indeed, true), and regularly protects the planets and the plants and the animals (and people, he'll add people) on those planets. He was also genetically enhanced to be something of a genius and engineer, and as such he'd be able to oversee a lot of helpful improvements for the commune to make their lives easier and more comfortable. (He wisely does not add, 'for a price.')
"And if anything, I'll make sure all the damned goats here stand a fighting chance against weird creepy limbed monsters. 'Cause apparently that happens too."
And that's ... that's his spiel. (Sorry. He's terrible at this.)
