Welcome to our OOC intro and CR meme. We encourage you all to get out there, plot, and introduce yourself!

There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game. Players are free to introduce their characters however they like.

◎ Nocwich is OPEN every first weekend of each month. Characters can get some cross-faction CR here! Beyond those 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and outside of game events, characters from opposing nations will only be able to see each other in the Horizon.

◎ You can review the newsletter here, which includes a Conclave meeting for all Summoned. New arrivals may participate!

◎ The OOC Plotting is scheduled for the 15th of this month, while the IC Event Log is scheduled for the 17th. This month's event will include a separate investigation related to Event #12 and a winter celebration across all major nations.

ABOUT YOU: I work with numbers all day and work from home a couple days a week, so sometimes I'm around but not really though I try to keep a steady tagging pace. I enjoy video games (Honkai: Star Rail, Baldur's Gate 3, and FF16 are my current main ones, other interests include FE3H, Zelda, Pokemon), cross stitch, cooking and baking, and reading just about anything. My plurk's mostly RP and I usually plot there so anyone's welcome to add me! I mostly lurk on Discord but pinging me in the game server or shooting me a DM on there or Plurk always works too at any time.

IC INFORMATION

CHARACTER NAME: Claude von Riegan
CANON: Fire Emblem: Three Houses
SIGN: The Wheel of Fortune
FACTION: Free Cities

CHARACTER INFORMATION:
Claude is a former ruling duke and military commander who comes from the end of the Verdant Wind route of FE3H where the nation he led won the war. Due to time and route differences, he may say something different about Fodlan and what happened there from FE3H castmates. While he's very outwardly friendly or overly casual or irreverent, he keeps most everyone at arm's length and uses that occasionally insincere friendliness as a shield since trust is a major stumbling block for him. He's sharp, observant, and not afraid of taking on any challenges or doing what he believes to be the right thing. On the flip side, he can be manipulative, evasive, stubborn, and generally annoying or difficult to deal with when he feels like it. Claude can be won over with puzzles, a board game, and/or a good meal, and though he keeps his own interests in mind, he's loyal to and protective over those important to him.

CR YOU WANT:

● Friends, new and old! He's intentionally difficult to get to know at first, but he'd sure like to learn everything about you you're willing to share. He could also be a mentor, depending, and gravitates towards people who also have outsider vibes.
● People to chat philosophy or worldviews with. Claude's morals are less flexible than they appear, and given that he went through a war at home and is staring one down here then getting into that with others who'd be willing to share is something he'd like a lot. Disagreements in this with conflicting views work too!
● Research partners! His current interests are are mainly botany based, including gardening helpful and potentially dangerous plants. A main goal of his is to support the Free Cities citizens through this somehow. Thanks to Viktor, Claude also currently has some small scale farming things going on up on the roof/terrace of the Femblems' loft for other fellow botany enthusiasts.
● Coworkers! Whether that's those who work with Viktor where Claude manages the Aquila operations currently or at one of his many merchant jobs that I'll someday submit NPC info for, I'm up for anything.
● I'm open to just about anything and also good with using anything as a starting point for something else, including handwaving basic intro stuff to start further in or deepening existing CR.
● Possible plans for the event coming up are always welcome!

CR YOU DON'T WANT:
Nothing comes to mind! Actual romance could be a bit challenging (think a decent slow burn) but definitely isn't out of the question as I enjoy ships and I'm up for it OOC if things lead that way. One time or ongoing hookups, friends with benefits, etc is also all good. Negative stuff is totally cool with me since Claude has his faults, but I'd prefer chatting about it first and checking in to make sure we're on the same page.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

● Would you like to trade canon magic? Wind magic is more Claude's specialty but he also knows a couple healing magic spells all of which are Fodlan's magic. They're ones that he would be happy to trade knowledge of for your character's knowledge or simply teach. Also, he's interested in finding a magic tutor to finally start learning what Abraxan magic he can while here. He's learned some smaller spells on his own but would love to work with someone who knows what they're doing with a particular interest in conjuring things and transformation.
● Does your character have multiple timelines, universes, etc. and would they like to chat about it? I'm up for including this as a topic inside a thread where something else is going on if it's easier to make it not the main focus.
● Politics! He tried to avoid that for a while in favor of observing closely and recent events have solidified a need for getting involved in his mind. Claude is currently one of the Free Cities representatives for the Summoned Conclave through the next vote and was mostly open about his past experience from home. However, he's started to think it would be best if the Free Cities had some changes and would like to (quietly) look into that more than he's been casually doing.
● Adjacent to that - research on the Singularity and factions! Through chatting with CR he's finally started looking into the Free Cities' side to find out some of the thoughts on the Singularity and how they differ from Thorne. His own feelings on the Singularity are mostly ambivalent but asking's (and other conversations) made him curious about how it affects them being here and what a change, destruction of it, whatever else mean for the Summoned.
● Claude is also looking to get involved with supporting charities or some type of charitable work. He's been volunteering with orphanages ever since the attack on Libertas and assisted in infirmaries immediately after it, and would like to continue with causes meant to help Free Cities citizens. He's got a vague idea of linking his botany interests to some kind of farming if anyone would be interested in potentially teaming up as a likely very long-term plan since it's in initial theoretical stages.
● Are you also staying in Abraxas? Having been here for a year and a half Claude's recognized that being here is some kind of permanent. He has some mixed feelings about this given he has Things To Do at home but with the complications of that timeline nonsense with his friends both here and who've left... maybe staying isn't so terrible.

ANYTHING ELSE?:

I ALWAYS WANT MORE THINGS WITH CLAUDE

while steve isn't quite as familiar with multiple timelines, he does kind of wonder if he's a different version of another steve, mainly because he's heard of his future and can't imagine doing those things ~~yes this is because i hate the endgame ending~~ in other words i think it'd be interesting for them to discuss this a bit!

ANYWAY, that combined with the possibility for staying in abraxas has given him a lot to think about. while it's not like they have any sort of control over whether they stay or go at the moment, i think it would also be an interesting conversations for them to have

if they do both end up as conclave reps at the same time, you better believe they'll be chatting about motions to put forward, etc, so that'll be fun!

GOOD BECAUSE I ALWAYS WANT MORE STEVE!!

And oooh, this would definitely be an interesting thing for them to talk about 👀👀 I'm still 8 million years behind on the MCU but I wanna know more about Steve! Them getting into some more backstory things would be Very Good, or somewhat backstory things since it'd be both things neither one of them lived but know about.

Semi-related, the year and a half he's been here is set to really hit Claude (mostly because I say it's going to) here soon and since they've been here the same amount of time, I think that'd be a good way to get into some of this! I can add a starter for them to my January log plans if that'd work, since Steve also has to finish exploding Claude's mind over not only giant cities but everything he's fought. Give him the stories!

(Also I'm so excited for Conclave Steve, if I end up tossing Claude in they'll be such a good team!)

YEAH i think they're getting to a point where steve would be willing to talk about this stuff, it's just a matter of it coming up if that makes sense, but we can see if we can find a reason at some point. and you're totally right re: them knowing things about their future but not having lived it yet and feeling some kind of way about it (assuming claude does too, that is)

AH, reflecting on how long they've been here sounds perfect, yeah. let's definitely plan on this for january then! and steve can answer claude's bazillion questions, LOL... it might be curious if he came over to the femblem house bc while he's picked hilda up from there for training idk if he's spent much time inside

OOH YES I like the idea of Steve coming to the Femblem house for sure!! Especially since if Claude knew Steve may or may not have been inside all that much, what better reason for a tour! Plus they do have that nice terrace that's handy for hanging out on and having all kinds of conversations, so time to get comfortable and chat.

January sounds great though, I've got this on my list and I'm looking forward to them discussing different backstory things for sure. Claude's current FE3H timeline situation is more that his past/present is still Hilda's future, and then with Sylvain's also being a complicating factor in there I think there'll be a lot he's willing to share on that. Especially knowing that Steve is kinda sorta in the same situation, or at least will be shortly... sorry friend...

It has been TOO LONG since we've done much (mostly my fault b/c of training sucking my time management skills away) and I am pining for Claude and Altaïr. Nothing super specific in mind (which makes this a super unhelpful comment go me) though I do think it could be funny for them to discuss politics sometime b/c their respective approaches to it would be VASTLY different (see icon).

eta ALSO he is not super familiar with alternate timelines but he had a big emotional talk about Hilda dealing with exactly that so that could be an interesting topic to tackle with him giving the outsider POV

I'm there with you since this fall has put me so far behind BUT that just means we're gonna have a great catch up thread with them!! And I'd love for them to talk about both if they can, mostly because I think them going from serious but Funny to just Serious all in the course of one conversation would be good. Stabbings as a solution are just a bonus since he's not (entirely) opposed to those!

Needless to say I'm all for this, I'm still crawling my way through catching up this month but I'm gonna put stuff up for Claude come January if that timing works for you too? If so I'll add a starter for them to my list!
