ABOUT YOU: Hello, lovelies! My name is Kayla and my plurk is mostly a lot of babbling by me about work, general life stuff, fandom things, & RP. My big main fandoms at the moment are Grishaverse & The Umbrella Academy, but I have also had mad love for TVD/The Originals, The Flash/Legends, & Warehouse 13 in the past just to name a few! I'm so hype to be here and dig into this game. Plz come play with me and my girl (she's such an outlier, I usually play males).

CHARACTER NAME: Inej Ghafa
CANON: Grishaverse (bookverse! from the end of Crooked Kingdom, specifically)
SIGN: The Hierophant
FACTION: Solvunn

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Inej is a spy and she's really, really good at what she does, which is basically collect information and steal secrets of people without them being aware of her doing it– I'd LOVE to get to play with some of that in game, at a later point once she is more established.

In the meantime, though, she'll be mostly focused on learning everything she can about the world she's been pulled into and the goings-on of the various nations/settlements, and about their individual plights and advantages. She'll be cautiously reserved, but friendly enough to build a small network of acquaintances for the time being.

Also: Anyone I had Solvunn TDM threads with that wanted to keep them, I'm down for that!

CR YOU WANT: Folks to help her settle in. Friends! People to sneak up on and accidentally scare b/c she's basically a ninja. People to sideeye suspiciously. People to spy on. People to spar with. Other religious people to talk to. Very much into just flinging her at people and seeing what sticks. I'm also fine with negative CR if things bend that way, so don't feel the need to shy away from it just because I'm new or anything~
CR YOU DON'T WANT: Right now, I'm open to aaaalmost anything. Except shipping/smut. Shipping will be a hard-won thing that takes a lot of time b/c her heart belongs to a boy back home, and she is nnnnot interested in casual hookups. At. All.
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Spy time, as mentioned above. I super want to have Inej go collecting intel on other factions at some point tbh.

But also more broad strokes: I dig angst, h/c, sink-your-teeth-in heavy/deep feelings (of all flavors and varieties), psychological stuff is a hella jam for me too. But don't worry, I'm also utterly here for silly/lighter threads too! I'm way more character/emotionally driven as a writer, but I love digging into metaplots so I'm here for tagging along on mission things or whathaveyou too.

ANYTHING ELSE?: Inej might have mentions of past instances of prostitution, slavery, sexual assault in her narration at times when things hit certain buttons for her. Her permissions are here, I can definitely avoid any topics listed that people don't want to touch.

HEY Estinien is a Solvunn guy and he's reasonably invested in helping out new arrivals, so even though he's not a social person he'll probably check in on her once he notices she's around and share whatever pertinent info he can. He's very direct

He's also totally down to spar and like... sort of religious? He's at least accustomed to religion and doesn't balk at it being a major part of people's lives. His own faith is a little more uncertain. He also wouldn't shy away from the darker content you're mentioning here!

Oooh good good. She’ll definitely have that fresh arrival deer in headlights look about her for at least the first day 😆 she can appreciate very direct.

She’s skilled with all varieties of knives but I think she could use lessons with longer blades so that could be a good in for CR :3 and don’t worry, Inej is used to being the most religious person in the room back home lolol

This absolute garbage fire of a girl is in Thorne at the moment, but she's got a lovely house full of bitey plants in the Horizon, and oh my god she plays her hand close to the vest bc people try to murder her for her magic back home and she doesn't trust anyone, so spying on her is an A++ way to get A. complex CR and B. her to involve herself at all in the drama.

Welcome to the game! We haven't gotten too far but I'd be happy to keep their run-in canon! Giving Inej one more person she's met in the Communes, at least.

I'm totally canonblind but very curious about her character.

Yes I would be! I also have put up a Solvunn mingle that Inej is absolutely invited to. Just a way for characters to get to know each other a little before the first in-game event.

Also if you're looking for fun trauma, Himeka has a convenient ability that allows her to witness events in someone's past. (Not willfully on her part or the other person's, it just triggers.) So that is always an avenue to explore with characters that may not share things otherwise.

welcome to Solvunn!! Link is fairly religious, as one tends to be when they used to talk to god directly... if you would like your girl to be misled into believing the Singularity is way more spiritual in origin than it actually probably is, here's your elf!

Emet-Selch here is also in Solvunn, and would absolutely be down to like. network/share information/make some kind of alliance with someone (else) who is working on a more info-gathering angle. She'd have to be willing to put up with the fact that he's more than a little dramatic by nature, though.

Sypha isn't located in Solvunn, but once she gets hooked up on the horizon, perhaps she can offer Inej a nice homey caravan setting now and again? A touch of the nomadic roots they've both been distanced from in recent years (hello, fantasy reskinnings of Roma peoples, we see you)?
