um yes, obviously!!

he'll be wary of falling into the same trap again but...rubs hands together.

hoho fortunately Maxwell is a Worst Mentor in a completely new and different way: kind of well-meaning but awful!

he also checks the: military background (kind of), criminal, former child soldier boxes, and he's more than familiar with the kind of damage a good brainwashing will do to a kid. he will be Concerned and meddlesome, if he recognizes those signs.
