There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community, signal boosted on Plurk and listed on the Calendar! Please be aware that Event #6, scheduled for the 18th of this month, will offer opportunities for characters from different factions to meet up in a (mostly, and temporarily) friendly environment...

ABOUT YOU: oh boy hello!! i'm super stoked to be back! i generally love chatting about rp (with current fandoms being mcu and arcane!), video games and ttrpgs (dm-ing a d&d campaign right now!). outside of dw, i'm EST timezone, i'm in the architecture industry and otherwise spend a lot of time at a barn. oh and i tend to be on discord more than plurk, but please feel free to add in either or both :)

CHARACTER INFORMATION: peter parker (aka spiderman, don't tell the news) is a teenager, fresh out of high school and fresh full of trauma. he's a brilliant kid with impressive understanding of most thing science and gadgets - and if he doesn't understand something, he's very eager and determined to learn. reckless, impulsive and always willing to help, he's not immune to bad ideas, and will absolutely jump into one head first if he thinks others could benefit from it. sometimes, wanting to do good doesn't always mean he won't mess up or make things worse so lets make some well-meaning trouble! also he's got enhanced physiology and spidey-senses, which is pretty much useful anxiety (tm).
CR YOU WANT: all of it honestly!:
- science bros! any inventor or inquisitive type to learn from or learn with!
- magic mentors - peter will absolutely be jumping on the first opportunity to learn how to use magic here, and would benefit from someone who can talk to him about magic in theory and practice!
- exploration buddies! gotta know the lay of the land and such, and he's a walking danger sensor so something like this absolutely could happen!
- friendly neighborhoood spiderman...stuff: idk he can help with carrying the groceries
CR YOU DON'T WANT: none i'm very open!!
PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: honestly anything from: learning magic, trying to invent some gadgets, combining magic and tech, horizon and singularity research, and any sort of trouble he can be dragged along into will be fantastic.
oh! and i'm keeping the cadens TDM threads, but for the others - i'm more than happy to handwave and retroactively add them into future threads, whatever works there!

Jesper and Peter are both youngsters in Cadens and Jesper's very friendly and eager to make pals with people since he's used to having a gang. He would be a very good exploration buddy because he gets bored extremely quickly and loves to wander.

hello young, impressionable, and technologically minded teenager :) Maxwell has been in Cadens for a few months now and has something of a rudimentary workshop going in the basement of a factory where he works, which truthfully I have been vague about thus far because he was kind of alone in his engineer world until now

anyway I propose that the brilliant(?) minds of Cadens get together sometime and have a powwow about the potential of such a space... :)

Seriously though Samus might not be here in the Power Suit but I think she'd be very enamored with his nerd curiosity and enthusiasm and they could be cute?

I would like to volunteer for exploration buddies! And although this guy is from fictional ancient China and doesn't understand modern technology, he is a master of qi channeling so that could potentially be useful?

Also he's actually more of a villain-protagonist so they could potentially banter about heroes and being good versus cynicism, etc.

oooh yes! i think it could be really neat to toss two very different understandings together! peter would be very interested in hearing more about the qi channeling!

and their banter on heroes could be very interesting, i agree!!

Teach him hero stuff and he'll teach peter... well, bad influence shit mostly. But also potentially manipulating qi!

When you say "science bros" how do you feel about a spaceship mechanic/rocket scientist from the 2350s from a sci-fi canon that mostly treats science realistically, because Amos is wide open for that, (also teenagers are very fun cr for him, he'd probably default to a big brother/mentor kind of role but who knows!)

Even though he's out in Solvunn a Horizon meeting might be feasible because Amos' domain is just straight up space + his spaceship from canon, so that could be a beacon for the whole science thing?

and a horizon meeting would be neat as heck, and would definitely open up some space and science discussion!!

i imagine their getting to talk about magic and how it relates to science (that's your department, peter) would be fun to explore! getting to help him with the theory of it might also force wanda to understand her own better. it's win-win for both. :)

i've landed her in solvunn with peter's not-dad, actually! but yes, considering that at least two people wanda cares a lot for are in cadens, it'll only be a matter of time before she finds out (thx sam) about peter being there -- and we can horizon it up.
