OOC Intro and CR Meme

Welcome to our OOC intro and CR meme. We encourage you all to get out there, plot, and introduce yourself!

There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game. Players are free to introduce their characters however they like.

◎ Nocwich is OPEN every first weekend of each month. Characters can get some cross-faction CR here! Beyond those 3 days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and outside of game events, characters from opposing nations will only be able to see each other in the Horizon.

◎ You can review the newsletter here, which includes a Conclave meeting for all Summoned. New arrivals may participate!

◎ The OOC Plotting is scheduled for the 15th of this month, while the IC Event Log is scheduled for the 17th. This month's event will include a separate investigation related to Event #12 and a winter celebration across all major nations.

Hi Caitlin, welcome to the game!! I have to immediately tell on myself and say that I don't know much about Star Wars as it's been on my list to finally sit down and catch up on someday for entirely too long BUT Jyn sounds great! I have Claude here and they have some overlap in being very Not Trusting, having to learn to rely on others (though this is more in his past at this point), wanting to uncover the truth about everything, and also trauma for good measure because why not. With a bit of paraphrasing here he was an outsider himself for a while and tends to identify with others who do that and/or the keeping others at a good length away thing too, and he wouldn't be dissuaded by any of that to continue annoying her into some version of friendship, possibly? If it'd work!!

He's over in the Free Cities so if there's not something in the event coming up that'd work for cross faction stuff, I do plan on putting up a log for him in January with opens for either the Horizon or Nocwich or I can tag into yours if you put one up before then, whichever happens first!

i know claude through rp osmosis, and i am so intrigued by the kind of cr he and jyn could have together! there's a lot of potential for them to be friends, and i would love to explore that. i'll definitely keep an eye out for stuff for the event, because i'll be throwing jyn into that for sure, in some way, but your january log sounds like a perfect opportunity if they don't run into each other there!

I appreciate that!! And it's true, it's the same reason I've put off catching up on some other canons but I'm determined to do it eventually!

This all sounds excellent, I'll definitely look for something in the event once the info is up and we can go from there in plotting something further. If not there's always January, and if it's easier for plotting stuff feel free to add me on Plurk but no pressure either way!

oh, same here; i'm about to lose a lot of sci-fi nerd cred here but this is me with star trek — i haven't even seen all of the original series... there's just so much! i totally get it
