There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community, signal boosted on Plurk and listed on the Calendar! Please be aware that Event #6, scheduled for the 18th of this month, will offer opportunities for characters from different factions to meet up in a (mostly, and temporarily) friendly environment...

Tower sons unite?!

Okay, but I actually think these two would be potentially funny together. Wen Kexing is seen as the worst of the worst in his canon--he is one of the protagonists, but his social position is a villain to society. He was raised in a lawless outcast group so actually he's sort of given to picking at people's flaws and raw spots, and because he's from the end of the series, he's softened from trying to weaponize that toward more teasing and somewhat nurturing? It could work out for weird friendships!

I was actually just lamenting that their TDM thread will have to be a dream AU, but we will definitely find an opportunity for these guys to run into one another again. I am going to be looking forward to the opportunity for Dante to set up his Horizon and for that to be a disaster as well...

Yeah, it makes sense that he would have a lot of gaps of knowledge given that he was... well, a shade on the moon for so long. : ) BUT I'm sure he'll start to get some of those filled in between Emet and Himeka, etc!

That'll be fun, please bring it up so that Thancred can hate everything. That being said, he'll probably be able to accept Hyth a bit better than the others, since he isn't really an Ascian, just an Ancient who's been through some shit.

Excellent! Hers is actually contained in an aetheryte crystal that she move around, so it would probably be in it's open bubble dome state. (Think the size of the Tanamizu bubble.) So she also has a habit of just setting up camp wherever even if it's in other people's domains, whoops. (With player permission of course.)

Once both of them have been introduced to the Horizon I'd love them to meet! So while it might not be something that can happen immediately, we could aim for it?

Also lordy the thought of him basing his ideas on the factions from Himeka... She's really doing her best to try and be impartial on them as possible.

That is a very good question! I suppose it probably depends on where you want his mood to be?

Then running into each other should be super easy. Sasarai could find her bubble dome or she could set up camp in Mirrored Valley. I would be fine with either!

Thancred is required to have at least one magical nerd friend so Stephen, here we go. 8) That being said, he'd probably be interested to discuss the Singularity with him once he gets a better sense of what it is and its importance.

ALSO want to grab Seph sometime but that can wait for Horizon or inter-faction shenanigans, I imagine!

Yes, I would love to keep going with the TDM thread and keeping it canon! I love those two so much already.

AND LOOK, he... pretty much trusts her implicitly even if he also needs to add his own level of pragmatism to her naïve/idealist ways. That's just how they roll.

I'm trying to figure out how they should "meet" and if Thancred should run into her or Emet first, so if you have any thoughts or ideas there, lmk!!

EXCELLENT, met too! I shall hit that up again tomorrow then. I think Dante will appreciate having a chill dude around to shoot the shit with even if Thancred is infinitely more dedicated to the mission than he is. (He is...deep down.)

She has gotten better by SHB about being LESS trusting, but she still definitely gives people the benefit of the doubt way too often. At least right now she's turning that more to the other Summoned than the factions themselves. One thing she will have to do is share her theories with him about Solvunn and the Old Gods. AkA she basically is wondering if they are summoning their own Primals 8)

Ohhh, hmm! I feel the most drama would be if he ran into Emet first, though Thancred's first foray into Horizon will be memory-less anyway! How awful would it be for him to meet Emet and then wake up later in Thorne and be like. "Wait. Holy shit."

Thorne buddy! I'm not sure how this CR might turn out but I think it might be fun. Thancred also used to be a pretty shameless flirt though he's cleaned up his act quite a bit, but he does have the charming thing going for him and would be perplexed by her/curious to know what her deal was. (Be careful what you wish for, Thancred.)

Hi there, nice to meet you! I'm Court and also new to Abraxas.

I think Hendrik and Thancred here could have some good CR, as Thancred is extroverted enough to try and help Hendrik get more settled in, especially since he's been yanked to another world before and kinda knows how to deal with it. He'd also be down for weapons training and sparring and the like, he doesn't want to get rusty after all. He tends to like upstanding types even if he tends toward the shadier side of things behind the scenes, so I think they might get along!
